Why not just post in the SD Maid thread? FWIW, I run SD Maid every month or so on my 6P and it seems to work fine.
Ok, sorry: you can delete this thread!
Hi, I have no issues with SDMaid on any of my Nexus devices. And don't worry about the thread

I was hoping to stay on 4.4.4. Can anyone on Lollipop comment on the smoothness of the device after the upgrade. I am using the debloated Eclipse rom on 4.4.4 Has anyone done a benchmark before and after? Is there a big difference when you upgraded from 4.4.4 in application switching?
I have over 200 games installed using "GL to SD" that app works flawlessly for me. It is just a dream come true with a Samsung 64 gig microSd card. I am afraid a lot of the games wont be supported and I will run into issues. I am especially afraid GL to SD won't work at all, as there is no mention of support from the author. Not to mention loosing access to XPOSED framework probably permanently.
I am probably going to stick with a 4.4.4 Rom for awhile. It doesn't seem like a huge update to me. Can anyone comment on that. Does the Lollipop upgrade make a big difference for you?
Personally, I think the UI looks a lot better, Speed is a little better than KK.
Not sure about GL to SD though sorry.
Now the big thing with XPOSED is do you use it for simple things or full blown customization, there is root available here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...l/how-to-update-to-g900vvru1boa8-5-0-t3020546
so if XPOSED does get updated ( he barely managed to get XPOSED to work on his nexus) then you will get the stuff you used XPOSED for back.
Sorry I'm not much help.

Just ran Quadrant v2.1.1
Scored 30,000
This one I have run on Kit Kat and Lollipop rooted scored significantly higher than my old scores.
GL to SD was updated does not mention in Playstore but was updated to Lollipop
Thanks very much for the info appreciate it. I did notice GL to SD was updated but didn't mention Lollipop in the store notes. However when you load the app it does say Lollipop support. That app is great for moving large games to the SD card. It has been working flawlessly no problems.
Xposed I use for the ROM tweaks. Like Wanam Xposed for General tweaking. "Gesture Navigation" is great to build in navigation gestures that only are active on the notification or any other screen.
Thanks for the upgrade information I appreciate it.
Dude you can always just use titanium backup to move to sd... honestly I usually use the native app2sd, never had a problem.

My android is becoming slower since I updated to new v5. Now I am using 5.1.1 and its unbearable.
So, what are my options? Do I rollback to the previous stable version(pls mention the version also)? Or do I install another ROM(pls recommend me some)? I would really like to have the OTG function without install another? Is there any ROM that supports OTG?

It's a very old device, you need to take care of it if you want to run the latest OS. I'm using 5.1 since it came out, and with proper config, it runs better than any previous android versions.
I use it only for videos, music and reading books, here's my favourite config:
Latest Chroma+ Latest Nvdia Kernel+ Pico Gapps+ Everything Greenified + Cache and data converted to F2FS
Don't install xposed, it slows down the device
Reboot every 3-4 days and wipe cache every 1-2 weeks.
I get 5+ hours SOT while streaming videos and 7hrs+ with UC and reading books.

@Harpratap, could you please explain that in english for a non-tech savy person. Atleast link me to a tutorial where I can follow the steps. Also links to the apps. Could not find "Everything Greenified".

He means use the app called Greenify to hibernate all the 'safe to Greenify' system apps. The only issue with that is that you should have good knowledge of what system apps are safe or even need hibernating. For instance you can Greenify Google services and maps, but it wouldn't be a good idea to Greenify messaging and phone apps. It's best to Greenify apps that you don't use often, but do a lot of wakelocks or syncs.
Thanks harpratap, my fiancées n7 has a well outdated cm12 running and I shall try your setup to see if it improves her experience.
Hello,
I have a G2 D802 International version (more info in the end of the post)
Rom is CloudyG2 v3.3 Android 5.0.2, but the problem is not related to this rom only, as it was also present with the Stock ROM.
I face a lot of slowdowns and a poor battery life even with the phone left on standby.
I don't recall that the same happened on Kitkat.
Things I tried:
- Clearing/wiping the cache partition, only closing all running apps makes it faster again but for a short while.
- Use Watchdog task manager to check if an app consumes CPU but it doesn't show something specific.
PS: I always do a full wipe when installing a new rom
Question is, how can I effectively check which app/process consumes cpu/battery.
Phone: LG G2 D802 (International) 16Gb version.
Rom: CloudyG2 v3.3
Android 5.0.2
Kernel: 3.4.0
Build number: SRKDeBloatG2-2-00.TomYum-Kung
Root: rooted.
Recovery: TWRP
Apps that may be left open in the background(if it matters):
Google maps, Outlook, Messenger, Whatsapp, Facebook, Chrome.
but these have been always the same, even when the performance was OK on kitkat
Just uninstall all apps you don't need. Like Facebook etc. Just go to the mobile page of the ones you need.
Also you can do a full wipe, internal sd card included. Then transfer install files to phone in TWRP. Than flash again. Don't use backup for the apps and install just the ones u need.
good luck!

Thanks @PhoenixNLx, I already wiped everything before, it comes back again.
as of the Apps I need them all, I did for sometime use facebook's website instead of the app, but the other apps I do need them.
I just wish if someone could guide me how to hunt down this problem by knowing the cause.
I also read that some performance problems were fixed in 5.1.1, so I would appreciate if anyone recommends a rom.

sorry when I meant I'll be waiting for a stable rom, I meant without the early bugs in CM which are still not totally fixed,
but I think I'll lose my temper with my phone and install your rom after a week from now
Update for anyone viewing this thread in the feature,
I've installed Bliss Rom 6.0 (android 6.0 Marshmallow) and it has been a week since then,
the rom speed, battery usage and features are amazing and I don't face any slowness anymore.
Great to know! For future reference also there is an app called wakelock detector tells you what's eating your battery life

Question, if you are not rooted what is a good app that detects what's eating your battery life? I'm losing 15% on avg during the night and as far as I know nothing is running (bluetooth/location is off) and the phone is left in the same spot.
I had the same problems with the stock rom, but with CyanogenMod 12.1 I neither had battery problems nor slowdowns, the same with CM 13 nightlys now. On average, my g2 reaches up to 2 days battery running time.?

There are many stable, bug-less, good for daily use ROMs available having good performance and battery life. CM13 is in its initial phase and is for testing purpose only. Also, not many are using CM13 so you wont be getting much help with it.
Its better to use some other ROM till a stable version is available for CM13.
Try the CM Camera-

You must be doing it wrong somewhere, as noone else raised that problem.
And BTW, Im on CM11 best battery and performance along with @chhapil 's kernel with USB fastcharge which charges my battery from 0 to 100 in 1.5hrs and the battery standby time >3days
Also, my AnTuTu score sky-rocketed to 38000 from 21000 earlier, can you believe that.!!

Hello!
I have O6T and, with Android 10, the phone lag sometimes.
I have googled and I see that this problem not hit only me.
I am considering changing rom.
I like Oxygen. It's perfect for me. But.. i don't want lag. I searching a rom without lag, stable, with Oxygen Cam and, prefer, without root (the root it's a problem with bank app).
Advice?
Hello, just an idea: you can use any rom even rooted ones, because in magisk you can set up magisk hide and your bank apps will work as normal (those won't see if your phone is rooted or not). (no lag problems on my 6t latest oos)

My advice is to purchase and install SD Maid from Darken on the playstore. And fire up all the settings. I have used this app for YEARS and it cleans up android and keeps it running like a TOP. Pair it with ANY of the fantastic Kernels that our amazing devs hook us up with FOR FREE, and you will more than likely have a SOLID Oxygen rom.
I also use Fstrim from AdminseHow the playstore and select all three and run it once a day. My phone is always lightning fast.
Best of luck!
