I realized that android system takes up almost half of my battery in comparison with screen time? What's draining it?

Its stock and I haven't used it for long. Say two weeks?

It's bugged.
Mine is always listed around 30%, yet it only drains 1% in 10 hours in Deep Sleep.
When I play a game (like one of the Kairosoft ones), it lists the game as 6% and Android System as 30%. That simply doesn't seem valid.
When you view the battery consumption in a battery app like GSAM, Android System is listed as 0,1%, whilst it's 32% in Settings>Battery.
Android system includes google apps ao if you are rooted install appmaster or any other app that can remove preinstalled apps after you do that reboot andbyou are ready

I was wondering how your battery life on marshmallow is. I installed v30c on my LG G3 yesterday and can't get more than 3 hours of sot ? even with lollipop I had better battery life..

Same story with me. After v30c the battery life got worse for sure on my G3.
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
the same 2.5 to 3 hours (lollipop had the same time)
When I get some free time I'll install v30b marshmallow to see if there's any difference

It's just that the battery drops way too fast when the phone is in use. In standby mode the phone can last forever but when you start using it the battery drops immediately

Normally after 60 min of no using phone it turn to DOZE, which is really great. But sometimes no, and it makes Android System and OS. I will make some screen shots.

Are you running v30c too?
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Mine was the same, I had updated from v30b to v30c without factory reset and battery life was horrible. Then I have factory reset, it is even better than previous versions now.
My battery life gets worse on 30c then on LP too....I do factory reset and also uninstall some apps. I notice that weather service get crazy. Look at screen shot...and my location is off.

I highly recommend you to update to 30f the battery life is awesome.. I'm still on 100% now that I'm writing ?

I upgraded to Marshmallow yesterday (v30d) and my battery life has been terrible so far. I drains much faster than it did with Lollipop, even when Doze is supposed to be activated. I didn't have time to do a clean install but I will probably have to if this keeps up.
Anyone have an idea of what this 10288 usage is on the phone? Didn't notice it until last night...sorry idk how to attach an image on here yet

I get these from time to time. Then they go away. I think it's just an error is usage reporting then it fixes it self. Give it a day

What else do you want? The battery is that much low and according to the preset in rom, the phone shuts down. Nothing wrong there.
Automated reply by JARVIS
Im thinking that why its not going to 1%
Sent from my XT1562 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Just plug your phone when you get the 15% warning its whats recommended. Motorola made the phone shutdown at 2% so you dont fully drain the battery. 1% would probably be playing with fire.
Thanks for the advice . Will do it

I just took this update and when I go to my battery status it shows my on screen time at the top of the list and Android system is now 3rd below stand by time. I hope this will mean better battery life for the future.
