Hey folks,
I've uploaded my mixer_paths.xml.
I don't see any obvious ways to increase the Bluetooth audio output levels.
Can someone help?
I figured it was BTSCO or BT-SCO but the only values present are 0 or 1.
The device is a Motorola Moto-X Pure on Marshmallow 6.01 if that helps.
Does anybody know where android manges the vol for bluetooth. Somewhere we can start to look for the settings?
Would still like to find some help with this even though I'm actually on Nougat now.

Is there any known way to increase the maximum earphone volume on the LG Optimus 7? I have noticed many threads on other phones but none on this one. What are the registry keys I need to change using MFG? Really need to raise the audio level because its still soft at volume 30. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
One here looking for the same info...
thnx in advance!
you can do it by MFG...I take a look this evening to an italian forum where i read a tutorial about that and help you later
I've found relevant keys in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Volume
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev
You could probably accomplish this by messing around with the values...
has anyone figured out how to do this yet?
Any luck? It's just not loud enough on stock headphones.
Anybody know how to increase bluetooth volume on an AOSP 5.1.1 rom (Resurrection Remix)?
I already adjusted the Headphone, speaker and earpiece using the Mixer_paths.xml(or whatever its called) but I cant seem to find a way to adjust bluetooth.
Thanks to whoever solves my issue or at least contributes.
Dear folks,
Currently I have installed custom ROMs on my X Pure to experience Android 7.0 Nougat beforehand.
However, I cannot bear the terrible audio quality my phone offers now. Loudspeakers reduced it original volume down to about 60% compared to stock. And when plugged in a headphone, there was almost no bass to all songs :crying:
It there any way I can regain those things back please? Any help?

It's a current problem with all Nougat ROMs.
There's a fix somewhere in the dev forums. I'll edit in the link once I find it.

Switch back to stock??? You can also try v4a.
I've created a fix
Not sure what kind of volume problems people are having with Nougat ROMS. I'm on CrDroid and I don't have this volume problem. I do have Dolby Atmos installed if that makes any difference. My problem is when using speaker during phone calls, the other person cannot understand me cause it echos.
Hey guys,
Im wondering if anyone knows what value(s) to change in default_gain.conf or mixer_paths.xml in order to increase the bluetooth/media volume since my new heaphones are not loud at all. Ive changed practically every value pertaining to normal headset in default_gain.conf and bt-sco-headset under media output volume in mixer_paths.xml but to no avail. Ive searched and searched but cannot find any instructions pertaining to this specific model and it seems to be different than the the other Samsung models which people are having success with.
Im not comfortable flashing zips from unknown sources when its not difficult to edit a few files....Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction? TIA.
I really like this phone. One issue that I do have is that the call volume is lower than I would like. Doesn't matter whether I am using the phone or bluetooth - same issue, I would like to boost the call volume.
I have used the Stock software, Resurrection Remix and Havoc - and the issue is present with each of those ROMs.
I have tried Viper4Android, and while that can increase the volume for other media, it doesn't seem to be able to increase the call volume.
I have also seen discussion for other moto devices, success in making changes to mixer_paths.xml (which in our phone is in vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml), but I can't seem to identify the values that should be altered (it seems like the file is different than it was for other moto devices).
Any ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated.
