still waiting for Marshmallow

Hi,
I have a PLK-L01C432B121 build.
Until now, i cannot get the update to Marshmallow.
Is it normal ?
Do you think i'll have to wait a long time ?
I lives in north africa.

Same here in Greece.. I'm also still waiting for MM.. Currently at PLK-L01C432B180.. No OTA, no nothing..

I don't why you're waiting full ROM packages are available you can download and run a oocal update

Yes you're right.
But i wanted as a normal user to get access to this feature.
For now, i still cannot get any update and i got a funny answer from Honor support.
They told me that i have to go to Serbia if i wants to update my honor since i bought it there last year.
But i lives in africa now lol.
So the only remaining solution is the local update when i will finally find the right procedure.

The right procedure would be
Make a backup of all your data, contacts, apps etc using Huawei hisuite.
Download the firmware you want to upgrade to and extract to get UPDATE.APP
Copy it to a folder named dload in your SD card and press and hold power, Vol up and Vol down until phone boots up. Let go of power after booting but keep other two pressed for five six sec more.
It will do a forced upgrade and you will lose all your stuff. Boot into Android, update Huawei backup app and restore your backup using hisuite and you are done.

sorry folks but after reviewing all my experience with MM (B380) i recommend to update with Lollipop B180 (B190 if available) only!
With B380 it is possible, that you will get some trouble with it! At the moment, B380 was removed from the support side of HONOR!
Maybe it has a reason!

Most of the users that i know (me included!), did not confirm that!
i own two Honor 7. I tried MM on one of them for four weeks. After this period, i have done a rollback to B190 Lollipop.
Since this moment, all my problems are gone! I could not believe, that HONOR will bring us an trouble-free version of MM.

Really strange that Huawei remains unable to deliver a clean Os. Such a big company with that quality of phones !

I think , I can help u all to get mm update installed if u have twrp recovery installed ..
At least if u could access fastboot

i didn’t understand your friendly offer! I had used MM on my phone, so i was able to install MM on it! But i have get the same notification problem with "WhatsApp"
as the other users have reported here! And some of my apps have stopped their work during the night. I had protected these apps against termination in the energy manager, but it doesn't help! I think, it is a problem of the build in MM "deep sleep" functionality! And yes, i had made a factory reset in the beginning of my experiences.
But thx anyway!

Hello I got c432b560 version of system. I can't local (It just doesn't appear anymore) update since I updated from b206. Any ideas ?

Thanks man. Btw do you know why I can't update from b560 to b574 ? This is my second p8 lite. Last one broke and I got new one. On my previous p8 lite with b560 I could update online to 574 from 560. Now I can't. Do you know why ?

What's happening? Are you getting some kind of errors or something? Where did you put update.app? Sd card or internal storage?

No, no, normal local update works but this time online update doesn't find any actualizations. (newest is 574, im on 560). Anyways I found local 574 so its no problem anymore, but its weird

Its simple. First: check for baelong bug. if you got it you cant update. Second: if no baelong bug, update HiCare app to last version and try to find update for you phone.

Hi, I probably don't got baelong bug because all works except ota. Someone posted b576 full rom so I updated it locally.

If you say "probably" then it means you don't know where to check.
Look at about phone in settings. Check the value I marked in the screen below.

L21c432b574. I got same value as you. Like i said I had b560 but I found full rom file b574 on XDA and I updated it offline not throught online ota.

then is ok, maybe when you had 560, your hicare app was not on last version so you didn't get the official update announce.

system update give me today this update, i've saved the download before install.
I was under b380 when i had the update notification.
There is the security android update to 5 may and mode monochrome in camera app, i don't know if there is others things.

Just to let you know, the update rollout began some days ago here in italy, but i'm still on B380 and i'm not the only one

Do you use for searching updates built-in updater or HiCare?

I used both of them, nothing at all. And the best thing is that if i don't receive OTA i cannot update...even through FF

The Update has been approved for delivery on 1st of june and will roll out in three waves over eight weeks, same procedure as with the last one. If you don't get the ota until the end of next month you should consult the support. Until then check regularly and hope the best

After checking my IMEI the Honor support told me that the firmware for my device is approved for installation and shoul arrive as OTA soon...still waiting though. Will see.
P.S i hope i don't have to wait until the end of july hahah

I received only one OTA. B131 - B320 (Nougat beta testing user via HiCare). Other updates I had to do it manually via FF. Shame to Honor.

My Brother and me both got it too! I live in Germany so i think the rest of Europe should get it soon too!

also in Italy, now available B389 update !!!

Hey guys, here in Italy the update has come! Downloaded and installed OTA, confirmed B/W native mode, Honor 8 watermark option for dual camera pictures and security patches to 5 May 2017. For battery and performance i shoul use the device more to give feedback

Nothing in UK yet, hopefully soon though.

i did get the update, and it is running very well ! Battery life is a bit better than before, monochrome mode is awesome and ram management is also better

Hi. By Hisuite on a PC, you can upgrade to the B389 whether you are lucky or not. It worked for me. :laugh:

can you use now on tap(google assistant) on this firmware?

Looks like B225 not released worldwide. My Chinese Mate 9 in Pakistan doesnt offer the update, yet.

Does this update resolve the notification problem?

Is there anything in particular you need to do to get this? I'm still showing B213 as the latest available update for me, and I'm also on MHA-AL00C00.

Update via HiCare

Hi, is not showing anything on my HiCare app, Im also on B213 and nothing shows up not even in FF yet

I also updated via HiCare. From 21 3 to 225.

tried again in a different network and I was able to download the update but is failing authorization while installing and not updating

Authorization always fails for me on new firmware via FF.
For HiCare, ensure you use Service >> Update. If you just go to Member >> Check for Updates I don't think it will work.

I know that's why I open this thread. For l09. We are last.

So no l09 was take it. Except beta ofcourse.

flash it manually, version b361, it will be shortly distributed via OTA. Confirmed by Huawei, no more beta testing for Mate9.

I don't want to unlock bootloader? I will wait for Ota.

I have the Beta 329 version and still no update.

EDIT: woot, it's here in HiCare! Downloading as we speak, so people, go get your update!!

I got the update by checking the OS-updates in HiCare and then I could use the System updates menu to download it like normally. Now installing it.
EDIT: So I had the latest B197-Nougat, stock ROM. Now running Oreo. This update also brought security patches for December.
