Is anyone else having issues where the network keeps dropping or not connecting to 3g some times?
Nope I have a G1, so does my wife. and if I set her g1 next to my nexus one g1 will have 3g and nexus will have edge. We have very weak 3g coverage at our house. Then at work where I only get edge I do the same thing,m and my edge keeps dropping.
try to reboot the phone
yeah I have, I am wondering if its this phone, or the radio it uses.
Looks like I am not the only one with this issue.

I have a TMO US HD2 that recently I been having problems containing 3G. My area is a strong 3G area and my signal goes from "EDGE" to an "x . . wine glass symbol" to "!" back to edge. This problem has been occurring for a week. I can pick up a 3G signal when traveling outside for a little bit but it then cuts back to edge.
It also drops signal after text message is sent.
My specifications:
Speed-1024MHz
Ram-576MB
OS Version-5.2.21913
Manila Version-2.5.20181424.0
ROM-3.14.531.1(04666)WWE
Radio-2.15.50.14
I tried different sims all same problem, I even got a new one. Help please

Hey guys. I just bought the sm-n9100 duos and i am having the issue that the sim 2 is losing signal after 5 seconds that phone is turned on and shows no service even if i am in a full coverage area. I understand that this sim works only in 2G. It is weird that sometimes I have signal in some specific places but the majority of time not. Does anybody have the same issue?
I have the S7 Edge from AT&T (SM-G935A) and I get terrible reception at work. I have to turn airplane mode on and off 3-5 times during my lunch break just to send a few texts. I also have an older unlocked Note 5 (SM-N920C) which will struggle a bit but will still send and receive every text after a few seconds (20-30) of spinning its little wheel. So the question is why would an unlocked non carrier specific phone lock onto the AT&T signal better than an AT&T phone? I've been into the AT&T store and nthey seem to have no idea. The S7 Edge works great anywhere that I have a couple bars of LTE but when it's struggling with 1 bar of LTE or just plain 4G it's not so great. Any suggestions?
That type of subtle difference in coverage can be caused by the little differences in design. Phones today mostly use the frame for the antenna, so Samsung has to make adjustments for the edge, and the Note 5 simply has more room for the antenna. I haven't pulled the edge apart, but that's my guess based on years in the industry.
The other possibility is that it's struggling to keep an LTE 'enhanced' connection for HD Voice and video calling, which of course an int'l Note doesn't have. Try turning off enhanced LTE in mobile data settings & see if it makes a difference. Or maybe try switching to the HSPA+ 'wap' apn and maybe if it isn't always looking for LTE it'll hold the connection longer
Motorola phone for u bro they have the best signal of any phone I've ever used. Also some believe the way you hold it matters. And cases may effect signal strength. Some buildings affect signal strength as well maybe try a different location.? The note gets better signal because of the size.

Thanks for the suggestions. I switched to the unlocked S7 Edge (935F) and it works even better than the Note 5 did. It makes no sense at all.

i have same problem,any fix?
FYI, the code you show is incorrect, it should be *#*#4636#*#*. I get an invalid code error message if I use your code.
I have a big problem with my elephone S7 it disconnects all the time from 3g or 4g to 2g and the calls are of poor quality. I tested several SIM I have the same problem.
Network of this phone is note stable.
its elephone themselves i recently got rid of the p9000 because of the terrible 4g signal. unless i was outside i couldn't use the data. if i for instance went into a lift i would have to re-search for my network on leaving as it would never reconnect.
the 3g is beyond useless.
seen the s7 not sure why but i fell for the looks again and low and behold. the same issue.
ive gone back to my xiaomi mi max that just works with flawless signal issues.
its clearly a hardware issue.
I'm also having the same issue with elephone s7, I have given the set in warranty twice, came back without anything fixed. Please if anyone finds a solution, do share
