First of all make sure all the Google apps are upto date. Expecially, Google play services. Also clear all cache from google apps, specially Gmail. If everything is up to date and you have removed cache but the problem still persists..
Go into settings>accounts. Add another google account (create a new account if you have only one), and remove your original account. Reboot the phone and check for a day if the problem persists. If the problem is solved with the new account then once again add your original account and remove the new account. If the problem persists, you might have to restore to factory defaults and set up your phone from the scratch..
Please do not delete the original google account without adding a secondary one first.. Otherwise you will be in a lot of trouble...

Hi
I got the sgs gt I9000
A few frinds told me that I sent them smses more than once, after we finished owr chat.
For ex: I smsed my friend yesterday at 00:00 4 smses. The device turned off at 07:00 this morning, and sent them again to her wheb I turned it on.
I didn't find any connection between the time I sent the sms to the time it was turned off.
It's like the sms is still in the outbox, after it is already sent, and when I turn the device off/on it sends it again.
Anyone knows about this kind of a problem?
Its round 4 smses a day, it's round 120 a month, in $ it's an exra 20$ to the monthly bill...

It might be the background MOSAD app playing up ;-D
If you use another app for sms try uninstalling it and check again...
Also check the last apps you installed before the problem appeared

Hi
I'm using the original app for sms, I like it a lot.
I uses Handcent, but thought it was the cause, so I uninatalled it.
I even uninstalled an app I used for popup sms.
All was b4 I wrote the post.
What I think ia left to do is reflash, and install app by app, to see what causes it. But it's a very long procedure.

Why do you turn your device off in the first place?

lolz. touche. also from the title the device definitely sounds possessed, but now I've gone off topic.
I change the batteries in my device once a day so I don't over-cycle/over-stress them, it happens to give the dual purpose of a reboot which is good for the phone. Turning the phone off has its places.
looks like the same poltergeist as mine, infact random clicks often sends sms or gtalks just a matter of luck
Anyone know why Google decided to do this?

Without it you won't be able to access the play store, sync gmail or your contacts.
Tune off auto-sync if it's on. Go to backup & reset in settings and uncheck "backup my data". Make sure location services is off as well.

I wasn't asking for a literal explanation XD
I just didn't understand why services decided to show it's face all of the sudden. I haven't changed any settings.

Sounds like you were. Lol. Anyways, usually a reboot solves the problem.

Sorry 'bout that
And yeah. It's not showing it anymore now that bat history has reset on full charge.
As the title says. I was at the store earlier today and got a notification telling me An error has occurred when signing in to my Google account. My signal bars are also grey. First I thought a good 'ol reboot would fix it just like 99% of my problems but still nothing. So I booted into TWRP, and wiped dalvik+cache. Still nothing. I did a full on factory reset and still nothing. Called Google and they gave me some troubleshooting that didn't work. They said if I didn't get it fixed they would replace it so before I dive into another RMA, I thought you guys could help me. Im running cm 10.1.2 latest nightly with Faux123 017b2 kernel if that helps.
Are you able to sign with your Google account anywhere else? Like on a PC?
Have you activated 2-step verification recently?

There could be a ton of reasons why google services os draining your battery. This has been solved in this thread btw wrong place to put a question.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2378962
First try to log out of your google account. Wipe data of the playstore app and google services reboot and relog in back to your account if that doesnt work download any app that moves system/ apps to data/apps and move google services and download from playstore greenify and just greenify playstore. Hope that helps

As per the title, I am finding on a daily basis that I am only getting 14-15 hours Max.
I only have one homescreen with no Widgets on it.
I have 3 mail accounts, 2 are exchange, 1 Gmail.
No live wallpaper,
Been in a good signal area most of the time, send maybe 10 texts a day, very few calls. No music listening, no picture taking.
Phone is a uk phone d802 supplied by 3 but reflashed with generic open firmware to remove 3 bloat.
Any ideas what's going on or how I try to resolve it?

Don't know if this helps to see where problem is
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Might be an app sucking the battery or a bad flash. Try reflashing the firmware. Do a factory reset before the flash and one afterwards.
Also, install GSAM battery monitor.
Disabling knock on might help as well. However if you do find a solution without disabling knock on please let me know.

try regular procedure found everywhere on how to determine wakelock.
also check for battery unfriendly settings. like email sync settings, push is friendliest, check-in every minute keeps phone awake lol.
but most importantly, state what you do in these 14 hours. How many is the screen on. etc.

I think I can do this from the standard task manager can't I? Sure there is an option to stop services. Don't really use Google now so will not miss that.
Screen time on from my screenshot yesterday was 12% don't know if that's considered high etc.

Have two exchange accounts that are push and one Gmail set for every hour.
Generally just viewing Facebook, bit of browsing and 1-2 calls a day if about 5mins. Occasionally streaming tv services for about 30 mind.

Try turning off reporting and history in Google location settings. As helped my phones battery tremendously.
Sent from my VZW LG G2
yeah, set Gmail to push,
turn in settings locations off
in Google settings also
turn backup off,
reboot, check if settings were saved
install betterbatterystats from play or this forum. with that check kernel and partials. Google what they are and mean.
Also check deep sleep percentage in cpu spy. should be, pending you keeping awake around 95% in period off charger.
success
