Bluetooth/system volume linked? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

So 6.0.1 was supposed to introduce bluetooth volume linking: http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/new...etooth-and-system-media-volumes-report-777871
Am I missing something with my S7 Edge? It'd be great to only have to set the volume on one device and not have the two volume controls be independent of each other.

Better Music Controls

I come from using many other mp3 players in the past, and I got a G1 to be my "be all" piece of hardware. One area that I feel the phone is lacking is in the music department.
I was wondering if a developer could create some sort of app that allows for track switching from the lock screen.
Or better yet, when I had my Blackberry I was able to hold the volume up button and that would switch to the next track while holding down on the volume rocker would go to the previous track. Just clicking the volume rocker would still adjust volume. Is there any way to implement this into the G1?

There's probably some way to do all you describe above, but Android 1.5 supports AVRCP. If your BT headphones have playback controls they will work fine with G1 whenever music is playing, regardless of whether the screen is locked.
I believe Hero has some controls while in the lockscreen, forgive me if I'm mistaken. I just came off of it, reliability was too big of a trade off.
Double press the button on your headset/3.5mm headphone cable.

[Q] remap volume buttons?

I have a us cellular s4. SCH-r970. I didn't see a forum for this model, so hopefully this is close enough.
I would like my volume keys to control media volume only. I have no desire to control my ringer with them. Is there a way to change this behavior on the stock ROM? The phone is rooted.

Bluetooth Volume Linking

I have a pair of LG Tones that link audio volume with the V20, so when I use the volume controls on the Tones, it changes the volume on the V20 too. The problem I'm having is that this doesn't seem to work with everything. I have a Mini Jambox that links volume properly with my Nexus 5X, but not the V20. The same happens with my friends UE Boom, it changes the volume on other phones but not my V20. I was wondering if anyone else has this is problem and if there's any way to make it work with all devices? Thanks!

Unlink bluetooth volume on nougat

Hi there
I recently tried flashing noguat (ressurection remix) and I love it, it feels a lot smoother and faster but a included feature for nougat is bothering me
When I connected my phone to my bluetooth speaker on marshmellow (h2os) I was able to turn the volume up and down separately on both the phone and on the speaker but now they share the same volume level so if I turn the volume up on the phone I can see the speaker also turns up the volume.
This is a problem for me since android dosen't have enough volume steps so when I listen to very low volume music it's now either too low or too high since I can't fine tune the volume on the speaker
So my question is: Can i somehow unlink the bluetooth volume? Or maybe add more steps to the bluetooth volume?
TL;DR: On Nougat the bluetooth volume is linked, can I somehow unlink it so it's like it was on marshmellow (h2os)
Thanks

Volume control on bluetooth headphones no longer controls Android media volume

Sorry for the terrible title.
I have the Oneplus Bullets Wireless. When I use the volume buttons on the Bullets, the media volume on my 6T doesn't change. Instead, only the volume on the Bullets themselves changes. It didn't work like this before, so I'm not sure why it changed. Before, if I pressed volume + on my Bullets, the media volume on my 6T would also increase.
I have tried forgetting and re-pairing the Bullets. I have tried disabling/enabling absolute volume under Earphone Mode and under Developer Options. Nothing helps.
Any suggestions?
