I just got my G2 and decided to root it then flash the cloudy g3 1.2 ROM which went fine. Following that, I installed the Xdabbeb camera mod which caused the phone to enter a bootloop. Because of that, I wiped the system, data, and cache, then reflashed the G3 ROM (with the kitkat baseband).
When I was on TWRP though, it said the battery was on 100% when it was actually on about 60%. So after flashing the ROM and booting it up, the battery percentage showed 100% then started dropping very quickly. I lost 20 percent in half an hour of use.
To do a battery calibration, you must charge the device to 100% and if I do this, it shows the charge at 100% but in reality it isn't. How am I meant to reset the battery stats completely? I don't mind resetting things as I've only just got the phone.
Also would someone mind downloading a battery calibration app and charging the phone to 100% then telling me what the voltage is at 100%?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hey.
There are many things wrong with my Galaxy S5 G900H.
1. The battery percentage indicator always shows 100%, it's not an OS thing because it is 100% in recovery too.
2. Battery doesn't charge when cable is connected to AC or PC. Battery is OK, I've tester it on another S5.
3. It's take too long for the Samsung Galaxy S5 logo and Powerd By Android page to go away while booting up.
4. It gets overheated all the time.
5. I'm trying to flash official firmwares, but the problems don't get solved.
Is it something from hardware or there'e something wrong with the firmware that I've installed?
P.S: Now that I flashed the firmware one more time, it's totally stuck on the samsung logo and doesn't boot up.
These are the firmwares I've installed from sammobile:
G900HXXU1BOB8_G900HUUB1BOB8_TPA
G900HXXU1AOB1_G900HOJV1ANJ1_THR
Thanks.
From where did you buy it, why don't you get a replacement

Not sure what would cause this kind of issue, but I have some thoughts.
Do you have a custom recovery on your phone? You can delete the battery stats file from CWM advanced options. Not sure about TWRP. Try deleting the battery stats. The system will automatically create a fresh new one when the current one is deleted.
Also, download the CPU-Z app from the Play Store. See what it says when you're charging the battery. And does it indicate the battery is discharging when the phone is on and not connected to the charger?
Finally, there's a great app called GSAM Battery Monitor in the Play Store. It may also help you to figure out what's going on with the battery.
Let us know how it goes. And please don't forget to hit the Thanks button if I've helped you in any way.

So after updating to the latest update last week, my phone suddenly was draining battery in less than an hour it seemed. It would suddenly jump when charging my large intervals that don't make any sense, seem too fast. Charge from 0 to 100% in less than an hour and then drain extremely quick again. After factory reset it was better, but I wanted to roll back to marshmallow, I tried it with RSD Lite and it fails on the 3rd file. After this the phone would boot fine, but when trying to shut down or factory reset. the phone is stuck in FastBoot. So I tried flashing the stock marshmallow via abp fastboot and now the phone is bootlooped.
can anybody help me flash the stock marshmalllow rom back onto this Turbo 2?
Ok nevermind I got it back to where I originally started with this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/dr...force-how-to-manually-flash-official-t3282077
still seems to be giving me weird sporatic issues with the battery though. I was at 75% battery and restarted the phone, when it booted back in it was at 45% all of a sudden. It keeps doing this randomly changing charging % by weird intervals for no apparent reason. It only started doing this after installing the latest update though.
Would be nice if I could find a way to roll it back to the original nougat update or even better the last Marshmallow version before nougat was deployed.
currently, there is no way to downgrade this phone as the bootloader is locked.
I am pretty new to this rooting community, been trying alot of things. But recently I have been flashing alot of ROMs, and clearing memories alot. I installed DotOS 8.1 Oreo, worked fine, but after sometime I flashed Pixel Experience 9 not realising its still unofficial, so I reversed. Yesterday, it started to shutdown (or Black out- unresponsive) every time I turn it on. I thought it was the battery, saw it at 5%. I charged it full. Now it does turn on, but shutdowns suddenly at any point. Sometimes, also on TWRP when flashing Gapps or anything else. I am currently using a
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 HLTE, with a Chinese fake battery (If that is a possible cause - although it worked fine for a long time). I would really appreciate some help.
Thank you.
EDIT 1: I tried using my old original battery, which kind of inflated and broken, but it did boot up. But now it reboots instead of shutting down. Maybe it is the battery? or something with the device?
Flash stock rom via Odin.
My Zte axon 7 for last few days has been mostly stuck on a red led for until the battery dies then I plug it in and it boots normal and functions good for 20 mins until it freezes with a red led and I have to do it all over again. I was in TWRP running linage os and it still froze in TWRP which I was suprised. Has anyone else had this issue because I'm not finding much on the internet for it.

yes,me.Also on 10% phone shut down, then i try to turn it on and it says i need to charge my battery,i ignore it.Then i try to boot in TWRP and that works.
Also vendor partition issues, other time on boot its gone, other time in reboot its back
calibration issues also here that i noticed, what more users have but not aware about
Have you found a work around for this to prevent it from happening or to make it work longer. I do not know what causes it. I hesitate to format cause I got some pictures. But I will if it comes to it.

Try to flash latest official twrp trough fastboot or edl.If it worked boot in twrp and try to backup your photos to PC/laptop.
Then I advice you start over. Also delete the vendor partitions.
Please report back here when the twrp flash and backup to pc succeeded

I will try doing this, unfortantly luck isn't on my side for this. In short I did this process 1 year ago forgetting how to do it, as well as I am now on windows 8.1 (previous Wind 7) and the drivers are very hard to get working as when the phone previously worked it would be hard to get it to detect the phpne using Usb 2.0. Just send me a tut on how to flash Lastest version of TWRP and ill do it. Also how do I clear the Vendor partions? I mainly had the intention to set this phpne up once and never come back to all this so thats why I have nothing ready for this.
Also what if it freezes while i'm usimg TWRP? I had that happen to me before

Ok what i'm going to do is erase the entire device, flash TWRP then the default Rom and see if it still happens.

u mean stock rom? what i did was ersing everything, also the vendor partition.I rebooted sometimes in twrp to make sure everything is gone and all partitions are on default size. And im glad i did this because the vendor partition showed up again after some reboot in twrp.
Then i installed everything for los14.1 (bootstack and modem) and flashed nuclearom (all default).Ive run some cycles on that and my problems were all solved.Battery calibration was also normal and good
Same issue, more details, with year old B32 system
Just want to add, having same issue. When phone is unplugged, battery starts draining quickly, in fifteen minutes reaching 70%. IF it reaches that far. Usually, battery just jumps from any % to 0! and shuts off, even from 100% charge sometimes, and can't restart phone until I plug it in. When plugged in, it shows wherever it shut down, for example if it shut down at 76% on charging it shows 76%.
Looking at posts above, I wiped everything, including data and media, did a complete reflash to B32 stock image by DrakenFX that I did literally a year ago. STILL same issue remains, battery starts discharging very quickly, then from 95% skips to 0! and shuts off.
Hope this is helpful to anyone dealing with this issue.

that must be your battery. Install Ampere, and disconnect the phone while it is at 100%. See how much voltage it reports. If it says it's at ~95% and has less than 4.3V then it's definitely just a very bad battery with high internal resistance, this causes it to drop voltage easily once a load is applied, and the phone detects the low voltage and shuts off to prevent bad stuff from happening
Does the phone look like it's warped somewhere? Your battery might be bloating
