[Q] Need EFS backup for 4.4.2(SM-N9005)

Hi every one i strongly need efs backup file for sm-n9005 having the rom 4.4.2, i am stuck while updating firmware, now i have unknown band version please help me please help me

Lol the same problem here but for me i accidently check phone efs clear and no imei no baseband

Yes we can .. for me the first thing to do im downloding 4.4.2 leak now and i will see if the baseband and imei will back after flash with pit file and for u ??

Guys, try make backup of your EFS. I know your EFS is broken but maybe you can recovery.

Is it possible to rewrite my OWN IMEI code into my phone ? i lost mine.. its says NULL when i check IMEI

Check Marek's thread about how to write your IMEI back onto the device. - You will only be able to write your Orginal IMEI back to it and it'll rebuild your EFS.

More details : My device keep reboot for no reason and seem choppy without IMEI&Baseband ..

Changing or rewriting your IMEI is a criminal offense. I'd think carefully about it if I were you.

Changing it is depending on what you change it to or the reasoning for doing so. Rewriting your Original IMEI which you own is not. Especially if you have messed up the device flashing firmware etc. There's a very fine line between illegal and legal. Especially around the world.

Considering this is the international forum there is no way of knowing what the laws regarding that are in op's country. Rewriting your own imei shouldn't be an offense anyway. Obviously doing it to obscure theft is something else, in that case we agree.

Did you also have Baseband UNKNOWN along with the null/null imei? I haven't tried mirek's method, what do you suggest, i have the same problem.

Yes i have baseband UNKNOWN along with null/null IMEI , i restored my IMEI and baseband with this method from mirek's Thread :
adb shell
su
dd if=/external_sd/mmcblk0p1 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
dd if=/external_sd/mmcblk0p2 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
dd if=/external_sd/mmcblk0p3 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3

and on....
after that my device started to bootloop , i reflash stock firmware once more , and it worked , my IMEI is back , but my SN is random , Im using MIUI rom not sure that rom affected my SN ?

Is the phone usable ? Can you make calls and use 3g/4g ?
Also, did you use the Fix soft brick.rar files or just the PIT file from mirek ?

I used the pit you provided ( thank you very much ) and vndnguyen provided soft brick zip file
Yes im able to use 2G,3G,4G , the phone is working the way it should
I followed all the steps above ""RESTORING SN - SEIAL NUMBER"" Line from mirek's thread

I have done all the steps, stuck on bootloop after 30 sec restart. Please help!!!

[Q] My Note 3 SM-900 Null Imei/Baseband

Hello friends, Please i really need your help i have my Note 3 v4.4.2 using Russia official firmware everything was well okay then flash MIUI rom on my phone which is in the development forum for note 3, I flash back because it couldn't detect sim card to russia official firmware but i bought my phone from Nigeria here,. I tried all possible way flashing more than 7 times, flashing with modem version and other stuffs but not working please help me friends, will be much appreciated

No i didn't make any back-up i didn't know it could lead to this but i opened the IMEI FOLDER and see a file mps_code.dat when i opened it shows XXV

At least it sounds like it's not wiped.. I really don't know what the possibilities are to have it fixed, maybe someone else knows.

The exact folder is /efs.
The /efs/imei/mps_code.dat is just a CSC (XXV = Vietnam)
Can you show entire structure of the folder /efs (including all sub-folder and files inside)?
And also the entire folder size?

The same problem was with me Bro. I have solved that.with in simple steps.first you install efs tool for note 3 n900 from play store.read instruction to use that.you should have latest updated firmware official .then the procedure
1.you must have root.
2.use efs tool for note2 and note3 n900 only.not any other.use backup and restore procedure.read procedure on play store.
3 flash stock rom latest firmware with doing 3.09
4.see the magic your phone will be fully working 100 percent.
I was also troubled from the same problem but yesterday after two days I have solved.try that .

That's only what is in the folder there nothng again only the mps_code.dat

I will try that bro,. but when i flashed the stock rom my phone stuck in Samsung Boot logo until i root then install CWM then flash with Custom Rom before it get working... The Stock rom keep stuck in Bootlogo

Hello Friends i have lost Moto g4 Plus IMEI Numbers & WIFI mAc Address :crying: please help me to recover both of this
i flash with stock rom but it didn't work so pls help me out.

Check the sticker under the back cover(if it's still there) for imei. Or the box that the phone came in. No idea about wifi. Also fake imei is iirc illegal. So be careful. No idea about tech side of things.

You flashed the wrong ROM. It happened with me as well. I think it was the file factory link that did I flashed which caused my phone to show IMEI as unonown and WiFi mac address to be 002xxxx. If you have the Indian version of the phone you need to download the correct Rom and flash that.

Im thinking a mod should subcatogorize the g4+ models. People are flashing the wrong firmwares. There are several varients out now.

Does the Smartphone restore IMEI by itself when flashing the right rom?

Imei is not erased,but some custom rom cannot read it or flashing wrong rom.

Someone help me sir. My N910C can't use 3G or LTE after use coustom rom.

i use coustom rom. (DN7 V0.1) can use only wifi. but can't use 3g or LTE Network. i try Flash stock rom but it can't use same.
i restart N910C try to connect 3G or LTE my N910C is emergency call only.

Flash latest modem from Here In recovery

you file modem i can't flash in recovery. i use Odin 3.12 in csc select.

your only solution seems to be restoring your EFS backup (if you have made one)

if you dont know how to restore, then you did not make a backup in the first place. Take this as a lesson for not reading OP . Find a repair shop to get you a new mother board

today i go to phone market in thailand . him said this mother board is 200USD for change . OMG it can't Fix that right ?. This way to fix it is change new Mother Board . ?

Can you confirm that your IMEI is not 000000000000? If its 000000000, you need to restore your original IMEI..

Do not use a language other than ENGLIGH as a rule. Try the pit file with the stock ROM. See pit file of note 4 Find it here[by Odin v.3.12.5]
