Hey!
I am about to buy Note 4. I am currently residing in India and will be shifting to New Jersey in some months. Can i expect all the network bands of this indian version to work there properly (2g/3g/4g) ? I did some check of bands and found out that many bands do match if we leave some out. I am not having enough insight.
Do some assistance.
Regards. :good::good:
LTE 700 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 TD-LTE 2300 / 2600 (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 40) - N910G

It seems our Version do support most of Network Bands there (LTE FDD 700 & LTE FDD 1700)
Hello,
Not sure if this possible but my Note 4 sadly isnt receiving LTE at the moment. AT&T requires 700 mhz for LTE in my area and my phone does have 700mhz, but on band 28 in stead of band 17. IS it possible to flash my phone to use band 17 instead of band 28? Any help is appreciated.
They are different bands so it won't work...
Hello, I want to ask if there is a way to add the band 38 LTE TD 2600 to my N910C who doen not have it?
Thanks!
I have the same problem !!!
No....the bands are a part of the antenna....theirs no way to add more bands

The antenna has to match the exact frequency and modulation or just the frequency?
Because, N910C, N910F both support LTE band 7, on frequency 2600,
FDD (Frequency-Division Duplex).
LTE band 38 is also on frequency 2600 but uses TDD (Time-Division Duplex)
Is the modulation (FDD, TDD) handled by the antenna or by the modem?
The modem is, as far I can tell, the same for N910F and N910G (both same Qualcomm); unlike the Exynos in N910C.
Still no one came with a solution for this? I read that Qualcomm phones can make this change (S5)
Is it possible to enable LTE Band 38 TDD 2600 Mhz ? (N9005)
Bump, I think I managed to unlock band 38 usin QPST and QXDM, but I still can't get 4g signal on Digi Mobil Carrier. Anyone managed to unlock 2600 band?
I don't think 9005 supports TDD, only FDD.

Hi, I was checking the LTE bands for all US variants and surprisingly found Band 17 is not supported. Does this mean there will be some issue with AT&T LTE, since band 17 is a backbone for it? Thanks!

Band 17 is obsolete. It's a subset of band 12. Band 12 is 700a, 700b, 700c; Band 17 is 700b, 700c. If your device supports band 12, it will be able to connect to AT&T's 700 mHz transceivers.
See Band 12 vs Band 17 for a more detailed explanation.
