I have attempted to do some research and have concluded so far that the best I will get with this phone is 3G service in the United Kingdom. Since EE has not yet activated or started their LTE Band 7 ( 2600 ) spectrum yet.
Would anyone know which Pay as you Go sim card would offer me best internet speeds once I go on vacation to the United Kingdom please? I was hoping for at least HSPA but I do not think so.
-Mobile vesion (SM-N900T) supports the following (GSM omitted).
WCDMA Band 2 1900 MHz (tx and rx)
WCDMA Band 4 1700/2100 MHz (tx/rx)
WCDMA Band 5 850 MHz (tx and rx)
LTE Band 2 1900 MHz (tx and rx)
lte band 7 2600
LTE Band 4 1700/2100 MHz (tx/rx)
LTE Band 5 850 MHz (tx and rx)
LTE Band 17 700 MHz (tx and rx)
Hello,
Not sure if this possible but my Note 4 sadly isnt receiving LTE at the moment. AT&T requires 700 mhz for LTE in my area and my phone does have 700mhz, but on band 28 in stead of band 17. IS it possible to flash my phone to use band 17 instead of band 28? Any help is appreciated.
They are different bands so it won't work...
can we unlock Yureka to be able to use a SIM card from a different carrier? like EMTEL?
anyone? any inputs?
YU Yureka isn't locked to any particular carrier.
Yureka supports the following bands:
2G bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA 900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 3(1800), 40(2300)
Emtel operates on:
2G Bands: GSM 900
3G Bands: W-CDMA 2100
4G Bands: LTE 1800
So there shouldn't be any problem.
Thank You so much Titokhan
Hello, I want to ask if there is a way to add the band 38 LTE TD 2600 to my N910C who doen not have it?
Thanks!
I have the same problem !!!
No....the bands are a part of the antenna....theirs no way to add more bands

The antenna has to match the exact frequency and modulation or just the frequency?
Because, N910C, N910F both support LTE band 7, on frequency 2600,
FDD (Frequency-Division Duplex).
LTE band 38 is also on frequency 2600 but uses TDD (Time-Division Duplex)
Is the modulation (FDD, TDD) handled by the antenna or by the modem?
The modem is, as far I can tell, the same for N910F and N910G (both same Qualcomm); unlike the Exynos in N910C.
Still no one came with a solution for this? I read that Qualcomm phones can make this change (S5)
Seems the SM-928C is the cheapest way of getting handset only. I've checked it will work with my provider, but what are the implications?
Thanks!
I'm using mine in the US no problems the specs and hardware were the same

US model don't update in the UK. i read some were AT&T model don't update in the UK. so you might not get Marshmallow android 6.0 update. correct me if am wrong.
Asian model factory unlocked will update to the latest android in the UK.

I have an SM-G928C which I bought from the Middle East and brought to the UK. On stock it worked fine with O2 including 4G. No problems whatsoever.
With a custom ROM is still works fine.
