I'm using samsung galaxy j5. How to activate HD voice or VoLTE since my carrier support it. Until now, i haven't seen HD Voice icon appears on my phone. I need anyone to help me. Thanks.

Hi. HD Voice is enabled by default in android 6. On stock lollipop use activity launcher to enable it.

1)Use Activity Launcher from google play to search that hidden setting in Settings app.
2) If carrier support VoLTE flash a rom created specially by your carrier to get the specific settings.
3)I diasbled all languages except the one that I use in my country.

I use the same sim on my J2 to use VoLTE
but dont know why VoLTE not showing on J5

If the carrier is worldwide it is possible that it has a dedicated rom. For example Vodafone makes j5 roms.

If I am correct you CAN't modify your phone model... you need to buy a new one... And yes you can leave the system in portuguese and change the language... And for video call I don't know because I don't use that...

I am not able to see any options for VOLTE enable/disable . Is there any separate code or software upgrade required. you need to change csc of your firmware to INS

How did you do it?
It was done with the latest Australian Telstra firmware.
I have a s7 edge running android 7.0 (UAE firmware)
I'm currently in india and here indian sim supports volte so i turned on volte in settings but volte symbol doesn't show up in notification bar and I'm unable to make calls
Any fix?

Volte is not supported bro with UAE firmware. That's why I have halted my flashing.

Are you sure could you place screenshot? Seriously I am dying out now to flash. My Indian carrier jio only supports VoLTE that's why I am asking.

i search on Google but i dont found any solution, i have 4 SIMCards
O2 Germany
Telekom
WhatsappSIM
Vodafone
Since we have CustomRoms I was very happy because I thought there was the possibility to use VoLTE.
Unfortunately I had to pretend that it does not work. I flashed LinageOS, CitrusCAF, XenonHD and tried to enable VoLTE but it does not work with any simcard
is that perhaps a problem of the Modem.img?
I've flash latest tissot_images_8.1.10_8.0 also but without success
fastboot flash modem_a modem.img
fastboot flash modem_b modem.img
VoLTE never worked for me too.
Maybe it's just a carrier issue. (Vodafone IT with VoLTE enabled.)

VoLTE will never work, our eu-carriers and Xiaomi have zero collaboration. Custom ROMs or firmware won't fix what is not there. Sorry.

WOW, the febuari patch makes VoLTE with provider VodafoneNL work.
So, there is hope. Try again after the update.
Well I had VoLTE working with Stock Nougat and LTE enabled SIM with T-Mobile Germany. After Oreo update this feature disappeared. Don't know if this is carrier related or Xiaomi removed/broke support from their firmware. Custom ROMs don't seem to support VoLTE for european carriers as of this time.

I don't see a "HD" or "VOLTE" symbol in your statusbar. Are you sure that VoLTE acutally works on your device? Just because you can enable LTE enhanced mode does not mean it will work

also got the update but still not working VoLTE and WiFi Call and also getting IMS not registered.
I tried O2 SIM and Telekom SIM in Germany with no luck
Sure its working with LOS15.1 ! When call with volte enable the other phone rings in 1 second if i call on H+ or 3G the other phone rings after 4-6 seconds

You can see it in settings, network, advance, and on 4G LTE enhaced. You can see if it is activated dialing *#*#4636#*#* too.

4G LTE enhaced selection not yet. *#*#4636#*#* Volte provisioned passive. On 8.1 we active *#*#86583# code.

Ok, you have stock pie, haven´t? stock pie only roll out for India and Bélgica so I don´t know if ROM have all 4G bands and if it are same in all countries, i think that no. Custom ROM like Pixel experience have PIE and work all well...

I use vpn and upgrate stock pie. 4g work correctly. Volte can't open Phone. Settings is passive.
