Is there anything can do like clean cache or any app apart from hard reset ? After the update stopped work on the games and android sensor apps too
So far I've yet to get this new version to work with the fancy new backup and organization features that just came out. When I first installed it would just crash immediately when trying to boot. What I've now tried is Force Stopping and clearing cache and data. This gets me into the "intro" screen, but as soon as I hit 'get started' It just crashes. Any ideas what's going on? I just updated to 5.1.1, had issue on 5.1.0 a well. I am rooted.
:highfive:
Tried force stop and clearing data and cache for both the camera and photo's app. Then tried rebooting and opening camera (worked fine) then photo's (crashed as usual). Tried doing it again but opening photo's first, still crashed on the screen where it looks like you turn backup on or off. I think there is a backup issue. I had auto backup off for photo's previously by the way.
the same here

I am experiencing the same issue since yesterday after flashing Google Play Edition 5.0.1 【JFLTE-GPE】ROM on Galaxy S4. Looking for the solution...
Hi,
I have a rather strange problem: since this morning, BT refuses to turn on. I've alreaddy reflashed the latest software version (N910FXXS1COK2_N910FOXA1COJ3_DBT), cleared cache and dalvik-cache, deleted cache and data of the bluetooth app and even deactivated all XPosed Modules, but nothing helped. I've recorded a catlog, maybe someone here can see what is preventing it to turn on. I don't really have any idea what could have been happened. I tried to make an backup with TitaniumBackup which seemd to have failed because I turned off the screen, because it had'nt backed up much about an hour later when I looked for it.
Ok, after wiping about everything in TWRP and reflashing firmware again, bluetooth is finally working. But does annyone know how this could be fixed the next time without wiping everything?
probably part of the bluetooth on the software side got screwed up.
Hello. I have a Sprint s7e. Yesterday I updated my phone to the Nougat Beta and everything was going good. This morning I got a notification that an update was available so I accepted and it once it finished my phone keeps rebooting. It will fully load and within a minute of use, it will reboot. Even if I don't use the phone after the reboot, it will reboot in about a minute. Anyone else experiencing this? Possible fixes? I tried Safe Mode and it still rebooted. One mistake I made was I have items disabled with EZ Disabler which I forgot to re-enable. Ive done this before on Marshmallow and it never gave me any issues. Could this be the problem?
Is there a way to revert back to the older Beta Version, or even Marshmallow? Thanks
I would try a factory reset

I would either try a factory reset or clearing the Cache. The last option would be a factory reset back to Marshmellow and then re-download the beta.
This happens on my wifes s7 edge. I assume its because of the (snapdragon 820) bootloader not liking root. Factory reset didnt solve issue for me because it threw up dm verity argument errors. Only thing that worked was flash combination firmware to completely wipe.
I had a similar issue. I would wipe data and clear cache. Start fresh. Android 7.0 vs 6.01 might have had compatibility issues or data corrupt caused bootloop. This is just my opinion. It sucks redoing everything, trust me. I had the Note 7 then got the s7 edge on Thursday, set it up on the stock 6.0.1. Then Friday found the Nougat beta and did my 1st download. It keeper rebooting constantly after It had finished set up.of course. So, I had to reset it up. I was able to go a day then reboot stuff happened again. So I data wiped and did it all over but this time I did not restore apps. I did fresh install and happy to report no issues thus far.
Sorry for long drawn out personal response, was just trying to share my experience in the event that it is useful to you.

Has anyone had a problem with "Android Wear has stopped"? It started with the last update to PL3. I've tried clearing app cache and data as well as clearing cache from recovery. Hopefully the next update will fix it, but I've been wondering if anyone with a android watch has had a problem.
Update: Still not fixed
I got a rooted LG V20 H918 still on nougat, I rooted almost a year ago with no problems. About 2 weeks ago, auto-rotate stopped working, I fixed it with a restart and about 3 days later it would stop working again and I'd use the same fix.
UNTIL, 2 or 3 days ago, it stopped working, a restart would't work and I searched the web all over trying every solution I could find and none worked. Then my phone got really hot and started restarting on its own every few minutes. sometimes its like a full restart and sometimes it feels like a soft reboot and much quicker. Everytime it would restart it would say "Android is upgrading 100%".
I then decided to go into TWRP and wipe the cache and dalvik cache, this was my SOLUTION. hurray! My phone took about 10 minutes to start after the dalvik cache wipe and Auto-rotate was finally working, my phone wasn't overheating, and everything was normal.
Until Today! It stopped working and restarting all over again I really don't want to have to keep wiping the cache and dalvik cache every 2 or 3 days.
Im thinking there is an app or something is stopping the gyroscope from working, so when i wipe the cache it temporarily works until it catches up again.
Any ideas on what I can do to find the culprit?
Edit #1: Cleared cache only in TWRP, didn't fix the problem. Just cleared dalvik cache waiting for reboot.
Edit #2: Just cleared Dalvik cache, still not working, now none of my solutions are working. Don't know what to do.
EDIT#3: I found my solution, the only reason I state it's temporary is because the last two things I did that fixed it only last a day or two. Although, I remember someone mentioning after they uninstalled nova launcher they never had a problem again. But I had Nova launcher forever and never had a problem, I think the problem for me started after I Installed the new version of Youtube vanced and micro G, so I disabled Nova launcher, vanced, and micro G. Restarted my phone and so far my auto-rotate works. Hopefully, this will be my permanent solution.
EDIT #4: Stopped working again.
TLDR: Found temp fixes, none work anymore. auto rotate don't work and phone restarts maybe every 5-15 min.
bump?
Interesting thread.
I have very similar problem with my G4.
Did you find solution for it?
I'm thinking of disabling gyroscope but don't know how!
