Hi there,
You haven't given much detail on your upgrade
But assuming you flashed a ROM, did you also flash the recommended radio?
If you did do both, give it a couple of days to settle down (try to resist the temptation to fill the phone back up with apps), then compare again.

What type of battery performance are you getting?
Check this. It helped me out alot. Improved my battery life alot.
Just go by instructions on how to flash the ROM properly (recommended). When you boot up the ROM for the first time just install "Current Widget" from market and "Battery Calibration". Plug the phone into the wall or computer and leave it to charge till 100%. Then just open the "Battery Calibration" app and calibrate the battery. Read more in the thread.

OK take a look at what your battery info says is killing your battery. There are alot of things that can effect the battery. When you did the update did you do a factory reset? What apps do you have running? Social networking Widgets updating?
this thread is stupid. you say you have crap battery, yet you fail to deliver any statitic, screenshots, usage etc.
4 hours what? standby? screen on time?

Dear 6696,
Pls go easy on me. Since the upgrade i did not do the reset for fear of loosing my settings and Apps. Simply said prior to the upgrade i spent 8 to 10 hrs with my phone doing everything and that includes listening to radio, surfing the net and making calls but after the upgrade it takes only four hrs doing same to finish the battery. Thanks.

And isn't there any App that can show what to stop killing the battery. I have stopped auto sync, display but still------

Google Maps was a massive battery drain for me. Try using the Sense Task Manager to kill the app for the time being and see if that helps at all.
Also Twitter (the official app) seems to be using a lot of battery too.

What is the question?
For my dhd during my sleep, it used 2% within 3hrs. Wifi & sync on, others off. R29 is very fast and smooth. Thanks RB.

Running codefireX 1117 nightly, heavy usage, and I get around 7ish hours before the phone hits 0 %

Uses like 35% overnight, 7 hours. Airplane mode. But that is not the worst part. It uses much more when screen is on. It is like 1% per minute or so. I can have like 30-60 minutes of screen time... I wonder if it is a problem because there is no JB ROM for our device so some part is missing. Because I have same problem with my wife's Galaxy Ace. I wonder if JB Sense ROMs are any better in this respect, they are closer to stock than our pure google JB.
If you install a new ROM, in the first minutes battery live is very short.... after that it goes to a normal state.... it's possible to go to 48hours, if I use it as a phone  If I use it as a smartphone, battery is empty in 12 hours.... :victory:
battery problem
first THANK YOU randomblame for the awsom rom :good:
yes i confirm the battery consumption is very bad ...... i am sorry to say that I really love this rom but the main problem is the battery I hope in the next release the battery will be better
another problem i found is the dailer is taking to long to load some times i hope in the next release it will load faster the same of sense roms
Please post at least a picture on the screen on time and one of the full battery graph.
Here ya go. I've had mine since yesterday. It lost less than 4% overnight(7 hours)
I was on WiFi the entire day. Sync was off. I installed apps, browsed with Chrome, checked a few forums with Tapatalk, trolled on Facebook, and listed to 1-2 hours of Pandora.

That's odd. Do you think the rom is causing the poor battery life?
I'll be at a function on Thursday, without a WiFi connection. I'll be on the cellular connection from 7AM-10PM.

Flashed the JB Telstra Firmware to try it out and will see how that holds up. I'm freaking jealous of the 7hr screen time. I feel like my RAZR doesn't have the same battery you guys all do lol. That or LTE is draining it dry.
razr maxx hd, I find most of my battery drain is when I have HSDPA data enabled.

You should install BetterBatteryStats and find out what's going on.
This thread us only for RAZR HD battery stats. I have an HD.
You can tell which phone someone has by their signature. XT925 and XT926 are going to be the RAZR HD.

Interesting. I usually stick with the stock rom. I usually don't even root my phone. I rooted my RAZR so I could fully utilize Titanium Backup.

I'm on prepaid, so I turned LTE off. One thing I noticed in the settings was the default WiFi config is for it to turn off during sleep. My Note II was set to always leave it on.

Common problems. One of the suspected reason is the battery problem. However, this only happened on some roms. Probably due to power allocated for flash is different.

Yeah, this just happens because the flash makes the voltage required by the device jump, and your likely older battery can't handle the voltage increase at lower %, so the entire phone shuts off. It's just a fact of life with this device. It'll happen on other devices with lower voltages, too I imagine. The DHD's flash is ridiculously strong, though.

I am on 802w KK 4.21.401.5, I use multiple devices so very difficult to judge the all day performance, however since upgraded to KK, the battery performance is at least 20-30% better, I am charging this once in 2 day, mostly on wifi and I use snapdragon battery saver along with Trigger app for automated sleep mode etc.
Wth?? I am on maximus, can hardly do more than 20 hours. But I also have all services on the except for BT and use Google Now as well as take pics a lot. I have mainly Kernel eating up 20-40% of my battery... See attached my Gsam Homepage
