Okay. I'm stressed. I just got an S7 edge and, as well, root is the first step of setup. So, I rooted and installed twrp. Then I tried to install the xposed framework but ended up in a bootloop. I flashed the xposed uninstaller zip file but the bootloop stayed. So, I wiped the phone and tried to install a custom rom. The phone was not having it. I have no os, and I've attempted to install multiple roms including the stock rom but it won't work. I use adb commands to transfer the zip files on to the internal memory of the phone, but when I flash the file, I always get a corrupt file error. I've tried downloading plenty roms so the likliness of the cause being a failed download is slim. Please help.
Try download mode and a fresh stock img through odin

Download a stock official firmware from sammobile and Odin to Stock then start over.

ive tried different roms and I get the same issue. It wont even get to samsung logo boot screen. It keeps looping on Note4 logo.

Have you tried wiping everything from recovery?
You need to flash the bootloader and two separate modem files from BOC3 when you upgrade from echoe v3 to v4. Flash the BOC3 rom first and then the 3 subsequent files using odin. Once you've flashed the last one, your phone will boot normally.

What's the 3rd file ? I flashed Boot loader and modem only . The other file is the non-hlos.bin ? And if so in which slot do I put it ?

The only slot that takes bin file is the CP button.
I just flashed stock boc3 over my echorom v3. Then rooted with cf autoroot. Flashed cwm recovery and then flashed echoetom v4 with cwm.
Worked like a charm and I kept all my files/settings.

i downloaded all the files but the firmware (not listen i have n910W8 = telus)
I have odin, supersu, TWRP (which n910w8 is listed) and samsung drivers.
I moved superSU and the TWRP file to root directory of note 4 5.1.1. rebooted into download mode, saw the blue indicator on odin and loaded the file. Rebooted holding volume up this time and tried to load the kernal but it doesnt exist.
I think im confused the TWRP file is NOT the kernal? Where can I get a kernal for n910W8 (telus)

ok i followed a guide online and now my phone just keeps restarting. I think im in big trouble. Im able to load openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-trltecan.img into odin and boot to TWRP but now i cant load kernels? looked so easy to do now im down a phone? any help is much appreciated thanks!!!
You need to odin (bell, rogers, telus) 5.1.1 then odin TWRP then twrp a custom kernel. Our 5.1.1 needs a custom kernel in order to work rooted. Or.....you can load a custom 5.1.1 rooted rom that is W8 compatible or any Tmobile rom such as Tekxodus which i am running.
ok so i loaded openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-trltecan.img in AP (for my device) copied the custom rom
" cm-12.1-20150423-NIGHTLY-trltetmo" which was suppose to work with my 910w8 (910T) used recovery to flash it and also supersu it flashed OK... I restart and i see a little blue guy and its stuck optimizing apps. Suck in restart loop.
what did i do wrong? try a different kernel ?

All you have to do is Odin stock 5.1.1 rom (COI4 i believe) then Odin TWRP then flash Tekxodus V3.2. Let everything optimize and let it sit there for a good 10 mins after optimization. Ignore what its doing. It will just work. No need to flash anything else unless you want Xposed, then you flash that right after flashing Tek (do not boot in between)

I loaded my recovery for telus into odin and went to download mode.
booted into TWRP
Flashed Tekxodus V3.2.
Optimized apps for about 10 minutes and it just restarted and optimized again and again.
One time it said System UI has stopped and I was hooped.
not sure where I went wrong?

I have a Galaxy S7 SM-G935FD International Edition which, thru a long sequence of missteps, I have gotten to the point where I can only get to the Samsung Logo Screen or the ODIN download mode (ie. no boot). I flashed TWRP 3.0.2-0-herolte, apparently successfully, by converting the zipped file I found to a .tar and using ODIN 3.10.7 on a Win10PC. But I am unable using any key sequence to get into any TWRP recovery mode - only the two modes above. I tried to convert the Superman rom on this forum to a tar also, but flashing stopped after Aroma at starting NAND write. In my many missteps, what I was trying to accomplish is to debloat and root the phone, at least to gain root access using Android adb. I was able to do this on my previous S6 Edge, but Samsung's vast security barriers have defeated me.
Steps to recover from this mess greatly appreciated ...... hopefully steps I can complete using ODIN ............ thx, Gus

I was unable to find a stock rom for the international. I found a zipped UK no carrier stock rom. Since ODIN doesn't flash zipped files, I unzipped and saved to a tar file using 7-Zip on Win10. Attempts to flash the tar file using ODIN crashed ODIN on the PC. I'm not sure what's wrong, as I used the same method to flash the zipped TWRP file, and finished with a "success"
I note that I have a message saying kernel is not seandroid enforcing. Somehow I think using ODIN to flash a stock rom is being blocked by some Samsung secutity feature I cannot identify and haven't overcome. Gus
Check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3335065 I don't know if you have experience with Odin process. Google it preferably look at YouTube video, if you feel shaky on Odin concepts.

2. Flash Stock ROM via ODIN. SM-G935FD use the same firmwares that SM-G935F.
Careful with ODIN. Make sure you are running on the latest version, as I myself has problems using it for the Galaxy S7 Edge on an offer version

anyway to unroot without losing my data other than flashing stock through odin? i've tried supersu unroot, doesnt' work. i don't actually need root. only use for titaniumbackup to restore my apps & data as s7 doesnt have a proper backup &restore option

Did you flashed twrp on Ur device?
for install cfautoroot you must install twrp.tar on your PC (download from here https://dl.twrp.me/klte/twrp-3.0.2-2-klte.img.tar). then you must flash it via odin.
to flash it make sure you installed your device drivers on PC and enabled USB debugging in developer options.
then boot your phone in downloading mode by pressing power+home+volume down button. then connect your phone to the PC. open odin app and choose the recovery.tar you install from the link i gave you. flash it and wait until finish(maybe 2 or 3 min) and then reboot your device to recovery by pressing power+home+volume up button. flash your cfautoroot and enjoy [emoji5] .

I get the same exact thing on a sm-g900t3 (Galaxy S5 - tmobile, north America) Oddly enough I can get https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxys5qualcomm.html installed no problem, but whenever I try to install root, either the supersu.zip via twrp or chainfire's autoroot directly from his site, it just bootloops into recovery.

I actually got it working, by installing a different version of supersu. The one I had was an update-supersu. I then found the full version and it worked. It did reboot itself a couple of times. The cf autoroot did not work for me at all. I opened it up in 7-zip and only saw cache and recovery, nothing related to supersu. I would like to tell anyone that the roms from sammobile did work, but I had to try a couple of them before i found the one which would flash properly.
If you extract the boot.IMG (or recovery.IMG I don't remember but not cach.ext4) and flash it via TWRP it does the trick. That's what worked for me.
