I know many of you would have got your hands on the new moto z force.
Since I don't own the device. I have seen it in reviews and photo gallery. Anyone who could get me some system dumb... Not not everything. I just want the new time weather app and some of the files associated with it its not gonna be big deal.
I want 1. time weather app you can find it in system/app
2. A file system/etc/permissions/com.motorola.timeweatherwidget.library.xml
And a last thing
3. System/framework/com.motorola.timeweatherwidget.library.jar
These are the only files that I need to port it to other devices. I own moto g3 and would love to have that widget there.
If needed any help I would be happy to help.

Hey all, just got my Incredible, and I really wish this beauty had the Droid's Neural Network wallpaper. Does anyone know of a a way to get it? The NexusMod wallpaper has the Droid background but it also has the Nexus-size pulses which makes it look horribly wrong and cheap. I loved the smaller pulses from my Droid... surely some of you miss it too, so let's fix it!!!
...any ideas?
Look on the market for nexus mod live wallpaper, the free version works great. The paid version lets you set custom colors.

Like I already said, the NexusMod LWP has the Nexus-sized pulses, which were larger and more square then the ones for the Droid. I prefer the Droids. Any other ideas?
I think its available on the one of the Kaiser Roms on this forum. You can try to remove it from there or possibly request the APK from a motorola droid forum somewhere else.
Well, that might work, I have plenty of access to Droid roms and such, but I would need root in order to install a new Live Wallpapers.apk into the system directory, otherwise the install will fail. If anyone has the know how to create a LWP, we could do it that way...
You could make a custom apk ya....but I don't see it happening...especially for free. Ever.

I've installed live wallpaper apk's to my sd and installed them without root and they work and show up in the live wallpapers menu also.
It's not that they're live wallpaper .apks, it that they're THE LiveWallpapers.apk that makes them the problem. Livewallpapers.apk exists in the /system/app/ directory as a system file, so attempting to install it will try and overwrite the existing one, which the phone won't allow.

Just a few thoughts. I have the MT4G and love it. I have it rooted, but haven't installed any ROMs on it because I'm perfectly happy with it's stock setup aside from some programs I've installed like Google WIFI Tethering, etc.. And I was looking around for some "killer" apps and these were a few I've found that don't exist as of this writing for Android.

I have a couple of quick questions. Firgive if already asked.
Why are the markets so different? Many of the appa I use on my phone are not there. For instamce I can't find words with friends. I did some google searching but could not fine the apk.. any help with that, I would be thankful.
I like the tablet just lots to get use to.
If I wanted to read about rooting this device what's the best site? Instructions. The only reason I would want to root is to get the real market ..
Sometimes it is because the apps aren't compatible. Other times the reason is hard to figure, because they work fine as they are.
One thing that you might try is to grab the app (.apk) from your phone and move it using something like a Dropbox app, or a simple file transfer through your pc would work too.
first things first. I need to find the apk. Do you happen to know where i might find it? There must be a repo of some sort somewhere?
I relly like the device tho. Seems a little disorganized ... maybe thats true of android as a whlole. Not Android s fault but manufacturers not sticking to the spec?

if your phone rooted, u can install the app and grab pk from /data/app
could think of a few ways
Most devs have a web page for their product out there somewhere - a lot of them will offer the .apk for you to download there. You can also try browsing the android market via web browser or trying one of the many external markets available (Appbrain/Amazon are great!)

Hmm... I have words with friends, and it coordinates with my account on my Droid, up to date... I have no advice, but wanted to say it works great.. was on the market for the tablet for Me... still is I just checked.
I find the web version of android market to be wayyyy better than the app...

I am 1 year later after i buyed my samsung still alittle newb and i got some apps i wanna remove or atleast not have on my "program" bar.
homepage and push the program button there is cartain apps that copy themselfs into my front page and doubles themselfs, is there a way of easily remove these like newspaper and 2 green android figures called com.google.android.t something/ com.samsung.music, these are not appealing too look at within all my apps and want they removed but cant, a reference too place would be much appraited. or and i wanna redo the icons and move them around but they only copy themselfs .. do i need to root? i heard rooting isnt a good thing in the long run

Having some trouble with this. On my GS3 I could have apps and folders on the same screen. Now on my GS5 when I try an move a folder to a screen that has an app on it, it won't let me. How is this not possible?

You shouldn't assume that every feature is stagnant and never changes. Just because you could do something on your S3 doesn't necessarily mean that it will work the same way on your S5. If Google wanted to change how a feature worked, they certainly could.
Nevertheless, I don't have any trouble adding a folder to a home screen that has an existing app icon on it. To even begin to guess why you can't do so, we need all of the information that you forgot to include in your original post e.g. what model of S5 you have, your carrier, firmware version, the exact steps you try to put the folder.. and so forth. A screen shot would be good too.
