hey guys,i have the ResurrectionRemix
how can i change the speed of all the animations?
like open an app and closed it open the drawer and clear all tasks.
thank you
Go to Settings -> About Phone (At the bottom) -> tap on 'Build-nnumber' until it says 'you're a developer now' or something like that -> Go to Developer settings -> Scroll down until you see something like 'animation scale' and mess around with it until you like it (Sorry but my phone is in German and I don't know the exact english terms)

Hi all,
anybody knows how to remove the sounds that play when poping a menu like the start menu? I want to feel more professional.
Thanx
Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications
uncheck the first one; Event ("warnings, system events)

I downgraded to 4.1.2 because my Nexus was getting crazy lag, and now it's smooth and lovely again. Anyway, everything is fine except for the constant popups to upgrade to 4.2. What's the easiest way to disable that?

If you have installed System Tuner, you can make this go away.
On System Tuner -> select System (the one with the red android icon) -> scroll down and select Google Services Framework -> tap Details button (the one with the magnifying glass icon) -> scroll down to Services subsection -> uncheck update.SystemUpdateService -> close System Tuner -> restart.
Hope this helps
Well that totally worked and wasn't too hard. So far the thing I only miss about 4.2 is that new clock app with world time, stopwatch, timer. I wonder if I could find that somewhere

You can fix the lag on 4.2.1 as well, pretty easy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012756

Thanks for the information. I've been looking for something to do the exact thing for me.
My s4 lag more than my friend s htc one,and the stupid scroll mistake a lot.So disappointed and so disappointing.
English please.
And did you try Settings-> Developer options -> Windows animation scale -> Transition animation scale -> Animator duration scale -> off (if you own an S4 at all that is)?
Then ditch and buy htc one beauty of competition you can get whatever satisfies your needs.

Root -> install Titanium Backup -> Remove all Samsung's crappy apps -> install a decent launcher like Action Launcher Pro
Go to settings -> About Device (under the More tab) -> Click on the Build Number 7 times to enable the Developer menu -> enter developer menu -> Make sure that Force GPU acceleration is turned on and that all animations are set to 0 or 0.5.
If that doesn't help, you'll just have to wait for a custom kernel to make everything better. :good:

Thanks,anyway.
There is a hidden setting in Android that allows the user to reduce the animation lag time. For example, if I open an app and the app window cascades opens 0.5 seconds, this setting can be reduced to 0.1 seconds where the cascade pretty much disappears. I've used this setting before but can't remember how to get back to it. Its not a system setting but a hidden one. Anyone know where/how to find it?
Settings>About
Tap continuously until you see, "You're now a developer".
Go back, a new " Developer options" button would be availavle just above About Phone, tap on it.
Navigate down to "Drawings" section and tweak as you please.
Thanks!
Hello!
When I go into settings -> display -> app frames to change it on "apps without frames" I can't click on that setting, it's like being locked, clicking on that setting does nothing, nothing changes. It's probably because I was messing with other Icon packs in "Samsung Themes". I deleted them all and set it to default. The problem is I can't still use/change settings where I can set apps with / without frames. Hope you understand what I want to say.
I would show you the picture, but I can't because Im new user. Thanks.
