my new galaxy s7 edge while receiving e mails on my corporate account some of them come in from unknown, no name on e mail
when I look at my work computer it has name in from field
even when I send myself a test it comes on my phone as unknown
I haven't experienced this issue. What email app are you using?

I am having problems with trying to send email on my Samsung Galaxy s.
the problems im having is once i have set my email up , i can only send email if i am connected to wifi.
My email is via o2 , all my settings for recieving and sending email are correct as i have tested this while im connected to wifi .as i have sent a test email to my Gmail account,and it worked no problem.
My gmail account sends and recieves email whilst connected to 4g / 3g etc.
i need to set this up as my o2 account is for my personal emails .
im using the Darky rom JVQ V10.2 baseband I9000XXJVQ ,and using Semiphore kernel 2.635.7.
everything else is working great apart from email .i have been trying to get this working for the last week,
can anyone please help

my note 4 is stuck at the "samsung account this device is locked " the thing is the email address i used for the samsung account no longer exists (its o2 email just been on chat for the last hour) now when i go on the note 4 and click forgot password its sending it to the old email.
anyone now away round it plz tia
login to your samsung account with your old password and unlock the device from a web browser.
Tried that pal Iv been told by samsung just make another account which I have 4 times I'll add a picture of the problem
I like the stock email client on my Galaxy S5 SM-G900A (AT&T), but when I mail a hyperlink, it arrives as plain text on any computer except my mobile device, from which the mail was sent.
Installing AquaMail fixed the problem, but this app offers everything but colored font that is useful when replying to mail.
So I'm thinking the stock email client got corrupted. Samsung's Smart Switch ssoftware does not support update or download of the stock email app. I see sites offering the particular app but also requiring access to my contacts list. Any suggestions?

In my company, since October we are having problems with the contacts of Samsung devices. It happens on Galaxy J3 (android 5.1.1), A5 (android 6) and Galaxy S6 edge (android 6) devices. It happens that the number of contacts of the device decreases and increases. The devices have an exchange and gmail account set up. It happens with the two accounts. In the office 365 and gmail account the contacts are correct and it does not happen.
You know that it may be due? It's very weird, we've always worked with Samsung devices and has never had this problem and it's happening to almost everyone. We have disabled OS updates.
I just got a used galaxy Tab E from Ebay I cant log into my google account on it keeps I did a hard factory reset and still wont let me login keeps coming up as the person who I bought it from account is there any way I could get this fix so I can sign into my account
