Incoming call screen freezes - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I was reading on the Quora app on my Z1 when I received a call. I tried accepting the call, but the button wouldn't slide to the right. After several attempts, it did slide but the slide was stuttery.
Anyone else facing this and how to solve this?
Thanks

SOLVED: Rejecting calls starts volume controls

Hi!
This is my first post here. I'm using an HTC Touch HD for three months, and before this I used an HTC Touch Cruise.
The problem is that, every time I reject an incoming call using the slider, volume controls appear in the device display, and volume is increased automatically by one point. It also happens sometimes when ending a call with the slider. If I reject or end calls with the right hard button, everything works fine.
I have installed AEButton plus and 'Touch In Call Screen Tweak', but I don't think it's got something to do with the problem.
Is this happening to someone else? Does someone know a fix for this?
Thanks.

i'd be willing to bet that the installed app is the cause of your problem. simply uninstall it, soft reset and see what happens.
Thanks for your help. It seems that AEButton plus is causing the problem. Uninstalling it made the fix. I'll try to modify the app settings, and see if I can keep it without these bugs.

2.1 bug

Hey guys. I am running a 2.1 on my streak. I noticed a very annoying bug that i wonder if anyone knows how to fix. When a call comes in, sometimes the phone stays at the main screen without showing the caller id screen with the option to answer it. Did this ever happen to anyone else?

Yep it happens to me, it just vibrates. I end up having to press the phone icon and then going to call in progress. It takes a extra few seconds but not that much of a drama.
Same issue here. I've tried opening the phone app while it's vibrating but just shows the dialpad... What build are you guys on? I'm on 6941
been thinking about updating to the uk official 2.1 build cuz if this and another thing where when I'm on the phone with someone it calls the last dialed number, but not sure if that's from my cheek pressing on the screen or a bug.

[Q] Incoming call when screen is off

Whenever I get an incoming call and the screen is off, it takes the screen several seconds to turn on. I almost can't answer the call because the screen doesn't come on until the caller hangs up. I'm stock but rooted. Anyone have any ideas? It's really annoying.
Wish I could help. I use the quick window case and the calls display in the window faster it seems because only the top half congress on

It's almost like there's screen lag when a call is incoming. I can hear the ringtone and see the LED light blinking but the screen remains black for 4-7 seconds. If the caller continues hanging on...the screen will eventually come on and show the incoming call screen.
This really sucks.
EDIT: I think I figured it out. I froze the Caller Name ID app in TiBu and I guess by freezing it, it caused some issues when calls out come in. Defrosting it fixed the incoming call screen lag. I wonder if it would still produce lag if I were to completely uninstall it?

Phone won't wake during call

Hello,
Anyone having the same issue I'm having? During a normal call my phone won't wake when I remove it from my ear. Even if I push the home button or power button it won't turn on at all. This is a problem especially when I want to end the call or select different options. It seems like the phone is still up against my ear and the touch screen is not active. I don't know of this is a proximity sensor problem software problem. Any help is much associated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I did the test and seems like it's working. Even during the test Sometimes it still doesn't turn off on its own. Any other suggestions? I doubt it right.
