Hey Guys
I recently installed the CyanogenMod9 for my DACH-Retailversion of my Milestone 2. Installation was Succesfull, but when i boot my phone, the Red M-Logo comes, and then the CyanogenMod starts. All no Problem, but i get a bootloop while starting the CyanogenMod. The 9 appears, and then the CyanogenMod Logo appears, and then it starts again (9 appears, CyanogenMod Logo appears) and again and again..
I want to flash my Milestone with RSD-Lite, but it doesn't recognize my Cellphone. Two weaks ago, i had the problem with the M-Logo and it worked, but now, it doesn't work anymore..
What can I do now?

(Sorry for my bad English, I'm German)
Try entering the Stock Recovery and select the 'wipe all data' or something like that and see if your phone starts normally after that

Flash the fixed sbf from the first post in the cyanogen mod 7 thread
Or at least I think there's one.. I'm off to bed anyway
But yeah I think you must have used the wrong version (one is for people who updated to official gingerbread, and the other is for everyone who didn't update).
Using the wrong one will cause a boot loop until you get the right kernel on it (ie flash fixed sbf)
I have an S4 running lollipop while I was using it it turned off and wouldn't turn on again . I wiped cache partition and it booted only once for a sort time period after that it turned off again . Now it boots only until the name logo then turns off immediately. Safe mode isn't working master resetting doesn't work either the phone can only boot into download mode and nothing more . Is there anyway to fix it? I haven't installed any apps lately it is running stock official without any mods to software whatsoever so I don't know what's causing it .
There are 3 possibilities:
1) You power button is defective
2) Your hardware is going hasta la bye-bye
3) Your software went to Neverland.
The solution for the 3rd options is to flash a ROM, be it custom or official.
Hello everyone !
I wanted to update my Galaxy s7 Edge in version 7.0 and everything went well and at the time of reboot the phone just started to show the S of SAMSUNG then it has frozen, then black screen and Blue led on.
Unable to go back in download mode the phone no longer responds to anything, but I do nothing but nothing.
When I connect it to the PC nothing happens.
Would you have an idea how to switch to download mode or other?
What did you do? Seems you flashed a wrong bootloader. If so you're out of luck and can use it as paperweight.
No !
I have flashed this firmware G935FXXU1DPLT_G935FOXA1DPLT_BTU
Download from sammobile !
Can you send me the link you flashed??
If you can't goto download try recovery mode....if you can't access either of them then your only option is to goto a samsung store and tell them your device went blank after an update that it got hanged don't tell them you flashed it via pc

Can you also provide more details like what happens when you restart it now?
Can you still see the Samsung logo show up when u restart......
Thanks for the reply,
no I can no longer see the samsung logo, I have a black and blue led display.
To flasher is what it is necessary to activate the debug usb and activate OEM
I do not have access to these options since the phone does not turn on?
Thank you !
Which phone version do you have exactly? (the last letter after the model - 935)
Anyways, as stated I guess the bootloader is damaged and this is something only Samsung can repair. However, the chances are towards zero that this happens during normal operations so they may refuse to help.
Same problem
I had the same problem. I left the phone on for 24 hours finally the blue light went off indicating that the system was off. I waited another 2 hours and then put it on the charger. Once the charging icon came on, I put the phone in download mode. This finally got it up again.

Do this leave your phone on to die out completely make sure the battery is completely dead then put it for charging leave it for 4hours and try turning it on....
If that doesn't work goto where you purchased it and tell them after the update your phone won't start don't tell them you flashed it via pc
Try this:
1. Hold Volume down
2. Hold home button
3. Hold power button all at the same time but in this order. And keep holding it for at least 20 seconds. It should get out of that blue light loop and eventually go to download mode. Also make sure that when You're doing it, the phone is unplugged from the computer or a charger.
Here's my story:
On 6.0.1 my flat S7 used to reboot like every other hour and have black screen problem. A forced reboot fixed it every time. I soft and hard reset it but no gain. As I made my mind of getting rid of it, I got Nougat update. I updated it hoping it'd fix it and it did. For nearly 2 weeks there was no reboot, no problem. Yesterday it just died, black screen and blue LED exactly how the OP says. Forced reboot doesn't work anymore, no combintion works, charging doesn't help, PC doesn't recognize it etc. I've run out of options.

I flash with odin and the flash goes well and full and reboot the phone does not start.
Arrived at the samsung logo it only displays the S then it freezes then reboot then there is a black screen and the blue led on and nothing works any button nor download mode nor recovery nor anything.
It is necessary to wait all night that the battery is discharged then I can repeat the procedure.
I tried official roms marshmallow it does not work, I tried official roms nougat it does not work. It all passes succes with odin but does not restart the phone.
I upgraded with Kies and all is well to go until the end but the restart of the phone freezes to the logo samsung.
Where can the problem come from since all the flash goes very well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you leave it for over 24 hours WITHOUT CHARGE so that the battery would completely discharge? The blue led will turn off once it has discharged and then wait an additional 4 hours.

Yeah did so. I read it here so did that. It turned on, worked fine. I restarted. Got stuck at S of Samsung logo again. Tried 4 hour solution again. It worked again. Rebooted. Kept working cool. Thought it was over. So thought of resetting to set up the device from scratch. I pressed reset and the phone never came back.
Took it yesterday to store. They flashed the software. Worked for like 10 minutes and then died. After a couple of hours of testing, they said it was motherboard which was faulty and it'll take two to three days to replace that. I'll probably check with them on Friday now.

just downgraded my nokia with OST LA to Nougat 7.1.1 and used the script found here to temporary unlock bootloader and flashed TWRP 3.2.1 everything went ok until exploring magisk manager app it said that needed sume uptades, first updated to V16.8 and then to v18.0, when done it asked to reboot, i did it and then it just shut down instantly without rebooting on back, tried turning on and plug it in also in a pc and apears android screen for less than a second and it goes off again, managed to enter download mode but no other else, im actually waiting for it to charge some battery bc trying reflashing with OST LA but error of low battery voltage appears, and im not even sure if this will work with the phone in download mode

Reboot to recovery while u are in downloadmode (volume "+" + power) then reinstall magisk 16 through rec.
