Guys,
I got my S7 Edge from Tmobile yesterday. Did all the updates it was fine. I then used package disable pro and disabled few apps. I rebooted the phone it was fine. Today it just rebooted and is stuck on Tmobile (boot screen). I can go to Warning page using power home & volume down key. I cant figure out how to reset the device to factory ! Any help would be great. The phone gets insanely hot while its trying to boot and vibrates.

Press and hold: power, volume down and home button upon reboot. It'll take you to stock recovery where you will wipe data x2 and then reboot.

Power down the phone, then press volume down and power button at the same time and you`ll get in bootloader mode. Go with the volume rocker to recovery and press the power button. Then wipe cache and reboot. If that didn`t help do a data/factory reset also in recovery mode. Maybe you wiped anything or might be a corrupted app.

You have to reflash the whole rom now. Do you have a backup you can restore in CWM/TWRP or a rom you can flash? Or else look here for a stock rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312. Good luck

I've researched it and cannot find a answer. Say if you get stuck in a boot loop and want to flash a nandroid backup or something. The only options I seen with the buttons when the device is off or whatever take you into download mode or a mode that only says factory reset.

On the Verizon model I have TWRP installed and hold power on+volume down and when it says the factory reset I just go ahead through it. The phone still has all your files. It just ends up wiping the OS.
Just my .02 cents because I've been in that position.

So if it wipes the os it leaves the phone in a permanent boot loop therefore not working if you do that, no?

^ that's what I meant. It's been a long day and I confused what you asked with something else.
so i installed CWM on my verizon G2. I went into recovery and wiped data. When it was formatting cache, it looked like it froze because it was taking forever. So i held the power button down so that i can reboot it. Now whenever i try to boot it back up, it stays on the LG screen for a couple minutes and stays on the ground zero roms boot up screen. Is there a way to get into recovery from boot? I've flashed many ROM's on many phone but i need help please so i can get my phone back up and running. Thank you

Turn phone off
Hold power and volume down until lg logo comes on then release and hold power and volume down again until you get into recovery.

That doesn't work for me. I keep getting the factory hard reset screen.
I've flashed things in recovery but I'm always gotten into it from a booted Rom

Yes. You will get the factory screen. Do it. Press the power button twice. Trust me it will boot into cwm.
This is twrp but watch this video I made if you have doubt's. If you properly installed cwm which you probably did considering you wiped your data. This will work.

Hi guys. Since flashing Beans version of KitKat for my Note 3 my phone will no longer boot to manual recovery (volume up, home, power). The phone goes into a boot loop. The phone does reboot normally after the battery is pulled.
Any ideas on what's causing this and how to fix it? Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks.

No safestrap works fine. I'm referring to the manual recovery mode of the phone. Volume up - Home - Power when the phone is powered off.
If I attempt to reboot to the stock recovery menu (either via the above mentioned method or even after installing the option with Wanam) I get a boot loop.
Never had that issue I did notice when running it I couldn't use the emulator script to enter recovery but was able to power off and manually enter it. Might try to re flash and wipe I don't know if that will fix your issue or not.

I've tried reflashing and wiping already. No luck.
Not sure then best advise I could give you is stay on 4.3 for a while I didn't really think 4.4 was that great plus not a lot of rom option's just yet.

Anytime I reset (turn off and then turn on) my phone it will be showing Samsung logo forever until I remove battery and turn it on again. But when the system initializes it will reset back again and be stuck in the logo again. Then the only solution is to wipe data/factory reset.
This began a month ago when I was deactivating ULTRA POWER SAVING MODE and it reset by itself.
I have never flashed or rooted this phone or anything similar.
Is it possible to wipe the system completely and reinstall the firmware? I bet this would void warranty. Any help?

Yes, it's possible, your warranty will be safe.
Boot your phone into recovery by holding VOLUME UP, HOME BUTTON, POWER BUTTON
Do factory reset when recovery screen shows up.
But I have done that already . Actually, anytime it is stuck, I do the factory reset using this method.
The problem is that's really annoying having to install all apps again.

So you should reflash another stock firmware. There's no harm here, no warranty void as long as you don't root your phone.
Go to sammobile, download a relevant stock firmware and use Odin to flash it.
Just remember to follow the instruction step-by-step.
Don't worry

Use Helium to back up. It saves app data, home screens and you don't need root.
