FFOS images for the Alcatel Pixi 3 (4.5) 4G? - Firefox OS General

Recently I got this phone from the spanish carrier Jazztel. The phone came with Android 5.1, but it is supposed to support also Firefox OS and Windows. Unfortunately I cannot find any images of these OSs to flash. Does anybody know where to find them?

I have never heard of a phone to handle 3 operating systems on one phone.
And anyway it would be impossible because if you preload 3 operating systems you would have no more storage available.
Unless you mean different Alcatel one touch pixi 3's, one running Firefox os, one running windows phone and the other running android.
So to cut a long story short:
It will be impossible because you would run out of storage if you multi boot operating systems

He is not talking about multiboot, he is asking for single rom to flash, with FFOS or Windows Mobile OS.
I searched for a windows rom for Pixie 3 (4) (4013X) but I did not find. Maybe it is a confusion between this phone and this Alcatel Pixi 3 8''

[Q] Firefox OS on Omnia 7 (and Windows 7 Phone devices in general)?

The best I've found out there is a recommendation to "try teaching your toaster French." There seems to be a few hints out there that the Omnia 7 can be flashed at least to different versions of Windows Phone 7. Is there a working way to get Android onto the phone? If so, can this method be used to hack Firefox OS on there as well? The phone fits all the hardware recommendations for the OS, and we have a spare one floating around the office I thought I might try to flash it onto.
I've already taken a look at the wiki page for the phone and found the drivers and flashing utilities (tucked away in anonymous downloads in the sketchiest parts of the internet) mentioned there. What is the procedure for putting Android on a Windows Phone? Is there a build of Firefox OS that might work, or should I just set the Omnia aside for now, roll up my sleeves, and start helping with the B2G project on GitHub?

[Q] Firefox OS on "unsupported" device?

I'm developing some apps for Firefox OS, but am currently limited to doing so on the Firefox OS Simulator. I'd like to flash Firefox OS onto a real device, but I own none of the supported devices, and of some of them I can't even find a single mention anywhere on the internet with the exception of the wiki.
Now I have this very slow Cherry Mobility Android JB (originally ICS) tablet lying around. Would there be any chance of getting Firefox OS running properly on this device, or is it a lost case? If I remember correctly, it has Linux 3.2 underneath it (the Android ROM which is currently on the tablet, I mean). Would I be able to extract the drivers from the Android ROM and use them with Firefox OS?
if you play around with the manifest xml files, you might have some success. You could have a look at the threads of the nexus (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924367) or samsung ports () to get a better idea of porting. You can also have a look at B2G, might help you out.

iOS on HD2 again, using xnu-arm kernel?

Since there is some interesting new development on running the XNU kernel on single-core Cortex-A8, is it now possible to start exploring into iOS on HD2 again?
The resulting iOS-like platform would be built on this kernel port (with HD2 board support package, for sure) and userland binaries that is either stripped from iOS 7.1.2 (the latest build for iPhone 4) or its corresponding SDK as distributed by Apple with Xcode.
App Store, In-App Purchase and iCloud probably will be broken unless we have a way to coax Apple servers into thinking the HD2 a genueine iOS device, but installing apps over iTunes should work and other non-Apple services should work like normal.
If we are brave enough we can try binaries and libraries from iPhone 4S iOS 8.2, either from actual firmware image or from iOS SDK with Xcode.
Any version that is jailbroken can have its files extracted legally, since during jailbreak all encryption keys involved is extracted. The firmware flasher tool can be OS X only and depend on both an Apple firmware file (.ipsw) and an (free) Xcode installation with appropriate SDK installed.

I think the problem is that the phone isn't sold in the US and most of the big countries. It's mainly sold in 3rd world countries like the one I live in and no one gives a [Mod edit: profanity not allowed] about custom roms around here.
it also sells in europe, i realy doubt there are no develpoers in europe
It's not too bad then that I bought the mediatek version then Jokes apart, this situation is strange indeed

Upgrade/Update HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim to 5.0 Lollipop
Leave a reply
I rewrite this tutorial from forum.xda-developers.com :
The users of HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim can now update their handsets to Android 5.0 Lollipop using custom ROM. The new Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with many new features :
– Up to 4x performance improvements.
– A battery saver feature which extends device use by up to 90 mins.
– It has a faster, smoother and more powerful computing experience.
– Support for 64-bit SoCs using ARM, x86, and MIPS-based cores.
– OpenGL ES 3.1 and Android extension pack brings Android to the forefront of mobile graphics putting it on par with desktop and console class performance.
– Responsive, natural motion, realistic lighting and shadows, and familiar visual elements make it easier to navigate your device.
– More intelligent ranking of notifications based on who they’re from and the type of communication. See all your notifications in one place by tapping the top of the screen.
– New devices come with encryption automatically turned on to help protect data on lost or stolen devices.
– SELinux enforcing for all applications means even better protection against vulnerabilities and malware.
– State of the art video technology with support for HEVC main profile to allow for UHD 4K 10-bit video playback, tunneled hardware video decoding to save power and improved HLS support for streaming.
– and other cool features.
Here are some more aspects that users should know before trying out the custom ROM :
– Users need to have proper back-up for their personal data on the phone.
– The handset should have at least 80 percent of battery power.
– The users also need to ensure that USB Debugging is enabled on the phone.
– During the installation, if the device gets stuck on booting, users can perform wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik before rebooting the phone.
Tutorial :
1. Download Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM from link below :
The ROM File size is 128 MB, so I split the file into 3 parts :
ROM Part 1 : http://goo.gl/7pyL97
ROM Part 2 : http://goo.gl/ffHU2x
ROM Part 3 : http://goo.gl/l1zKh5
To combine 3 parts files above into 1 file just use WINRAR, then extract the files into ZIP format.
If any problem with the ROM, maybe because the ROM have corrupted during the download process, you can try to re-download the ROM.
2. Install the ROM Manager on your HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim. Get it from Google Play Store, then install the clockwork mod recovery. You also can use ROM Installer application from JRummy Apps Inc.(Get it from Google Play Store).
3. Connect your HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim to your PC employing the USB information cable. Copy the “ROM.zip” file you downloaded to the SD memory card.
4. Restart your device in the recovery mode using ROM Manager. As soon as in Recovery Mode, go to ROM Manager and select backup/restore to back-up your information.
5. From the Recovery Menu do a total data erase (including Delvik Cache). When completed, go back to Recovery Principal Menu and choose Flash ROM from SD Card. Navigate the location you copied the ”ROM.zip” file and follow the directions for installing Android 5.0 Lollipop on your HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim. As soon as the installation is over, just reboot your HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim device, and here you go, you’ve just upgraded it to the new Android 5.0 Lollipop.
look at comments they successful...how they do it there is survey on download link..i try to download i got part 1...but the second and third part of the rom file...they take my mobilephone load. try guys analyze its true or not.
The Lollipop Rom is definetly fake. How did the users comment if there is no option on the webpage to login?

{Q} Custom ROMS (AOSP/CM) for Galaxy A8 (SM-A800F)? Any possibility in Future??

Hello all
I was wondering if there will be AOSP/CM ROM for this device, not a single ROM is available and no dev is interested to work on such a great device.
Such a totally crap device, still stucked on 5.1.1 since launch, no dev is interested in the development either, where android n announced already, we are still waiting for Android M update, i wasted my money on such a **** device, will never buy a sammy mid range in future, m totally fed up with this
I think because there are few developer with that phone and they can't test their work. You can port ROMs such as CM to you phone by your self. There are tons of guides and forums. All u need is a linux OS (such as ubuntu, debian and others) and sources.

yep, I'm on kali and I use windows 10 to play games, so the only thing is: take care when partitioning. After you installed ubuntu there is a bootloader called "GRUB" and there you can choose if you want to boot windows or linux
