You can already swap watchfaces by just tapping on the one you want in the Android Wear app on your phone.

It would be cool to be able to reboot instead of going to the bottom of settings.

Hi, is there a way to change settings for example activate/deactivate sleep mode, or wifi or bluethooth from my smartphone.
Thank you!

disable touch screen when viewing video?

Hi all,
I am sometimes using my HD2 to show children's tv shows to my 1 year-old and would like to somehow disable touch controls of the player so that it should be hard to stop the video or exit the player by touching the screen...
Anyone out there that know of any solution for this?
cheers

I could extend LMT to be able to enable/disable the touchscreen via gesture. If there is no other little tool out there and you are still interested, just PM me and I'll add that feature for the new release...

That would be awesome. As the HD2's screen is so shiny it would be nice to be able to wipe it without having to stop the video, turn off the screen and wipe.

LMT Launcher alternative?

Hi everybody,
I've migrated to Android in the past couple of days, and the app I miss the most from WM is LMT launcher. It's not that I 've been using the app a lot in WM; it's just that under Android you have to manually fire a task manager each time you want to close an app. What I was looking for is the universal "two fingers swipe" from LMT that will allow me to terminate the current foreground app.
Any ideas or suggestions?
android is build very differently. You don't need a task manager. Just use autokiller app if you think your hd2 lack of free ram.

you did not really read the post, did you? he's not asking about a task killer or whether it's reasonable to have one or not.
he is asking for an app that supports multitouch-gestures to launch applications, for example a video player, his favorite game, or maybe even a taskmanager (please, no need to tell again that there's no need for a taskmanager in android )
Exactly what i'm searching for! I wanted to open a new Thread and found this one...
For those of you who don't know about the functionality of LMT:
LMT is an app laucher which much more features! You can assign multitouch gestures for starting programs, switch between programs (double left for previous program, double right for next programm, double bottom to top for close program etc), switch connections and much much more...
I think it woult perfectly work with ithing thumb if you assign it to double top to bottom.
I already asked the dev of LMT to port it - but he don't use android on HD2...
Here's a little video of LMT - but its a very old version and doesn't show everything...
I think this would be a great enrichment for every android user!
Is this possible an Android???
Thank you very much for reading and replys...
greets
Edit: Found another video from pocketnow.com, which shows a bit more...

Can someone with android development skills tell me, if an app like LMT would be possible? Can an app/service catch all touch events, even when it is not the foreground app. If this is possible, I'll dowload the SDK and start porting...
Lol, thank god that ppl see my point.
Anyway, did anyone have any experiences about this:

If it is possible, I may save one of my weekends from WP7 development and try Android instead. ;-)

you can try the app from my attachment. WinMo style X button in your status bar. of course this is not LMT`s "swipe to close", but seems to be the fastest way to close app in Android
OK, I'll push this Thread, because we need an answer to this question:

Would be fantastic if it could be done - and you'll do it, noname or papajohn!!!
Thank you!

The weekend is here, and I spent a few minutes looking into this. Unfortunately, it can't be done...:-(

But thank you very very much, papajohn, for explaining and spent your time on research!

noname81, I appreciate your work so much and thanks again for it! I want to ask when are you going to add more gestures? I think an L is possible (then you have a mirror L and 2 more rotated Ls). Plus double L again in the 4 possible mirror positions and only with this we end up with 8 more gestures. What about a mirrored delete gesture? There are many more potential candidates. Like double square but made and then this opposite direction of movement (counterclockwise) can be used for other gestures to double their number...
Please, see the picture.
Hope to get you interested!
Thanks again!
I will post this in the official thread as well.
LMT for Android
noname81 did it again! This time for some Android devices.

Screen Sharing for Honeycomb

Hello,
Does anyone no of any way to do screensharing on a device that has honeycomb?
thanks
Jason
what exactly do you mean by screen sharing? Do you mean having two or more apps on the screen at once? If so, then no, that is not currently possible.
No, I mean I have someone that has problems with their device and I want to troubleshoot from a distance through some remote access program.
They exist for PC/MAC. Trying to find solution for Android
oh, I see. that would be nice.. haven't heard of anything like this yet though
You mean remote desktop connection? I know you can sideload TeamViewer which allows you to control Mac OSX or Windows 7 computer from your Android device, don't know if its tablet optimized yet or not.
See if WebKey works on honeycomb. I don't have a Tab yet, but use it all the time for demoing apps/giving presentations from my android.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I thought someone was deving a VNC for Android. The current beta has a lot of problems and doesn't work really well..but I think it'll get there eventually.
Until then there's no easy way to remote to a Android "desktop" yet.

[PORT] Razer's SBUI on Android: is it possible? Can we make this happen?

Hello XDA,
Maybe you are not familiar with Razer's SwitchBlade User Interface so I'll summarize it for you: it's a display where you can get info about the game you are playing like maps, inventory, quests, etc... SBUI Official Homepage
The thing is, Razer released it's SDK for devs to work on it and it would be really awesome to have it ported to our devices so we can use it while gaming or even as a launcher like in the Optimus Aux Keyboard
My question is, is it even possible?
so u want to use phone like a pad for gaming?
Not exactly, I want to use it to view and use items from my inventory on a RPG, or my weapons on a FPS (those are just examples)
And if I'm on windows I want to use it as a "launcher" for some softwares
AW: [PORT] Razer's SBUI on Android: is it possible? Can we make this happen?
Would be very very very nice if someone could make this happen!

I guess that an USB connection would be better because keeping the screen on all the time would consume a lot of battery
