Wake up phone using volume rockers - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys so I wanted to wake my phone either using the volume up or volume button key so I'll have 3 ways of waking up the phone (home, power button, volume up/down). I'm running Albe95 Lollirom V9 so basically using the Lollipop version of this phone. Thanks in advance

Xposed and GravityBox unless the ROM has some tweaks that allows just that.

Extended power menu for 4.3

Hi,
I've just flashed the 4.3 deodexed image. I'm looking for an extended power menu mod. Is there any for 4.3? If yes, I would appreciate a link.
Thanks!

Install the xposed framework app then install modaco toolkit. All can be found in xda just search for their titles

I installed both. The modaco option for power menu doesn't work. Other options work though, like battery percentage.
Any advice?

I have "Extended Power Menu" installed from the playstore and it works perfectly on 4.3 but you need to be rooted. I have SuperSU v1.45 installed for root.

Back button not playing sound when pressed.

Hi guys,
I have installed the stable cm10.1 4.2.2 on my i9505, fresh installation, everything is perfect, the rom is amazing too. But I am facing this problem, actually I found out that whenever I press the back button, it didn't play any sound like the menu key (click sound), and I don't know why!!?? Is this normal? Can you guys help me with that, any suggestions or ideas on how to solve it.
I would really appreciate your support.
Thanks
Nasser

Hi,
Have you tried searching in the cm10.1 thread?....Maybe someone has posted a similar issue...Also have you tried to re-install the ROM to see if that sorts it out also?
I tried re-install the rom, it didn't work.
I will search in that thread.
Thanks for your help, I thought maybe someone faced the same issue.

[Q] Missing Mobile Data and Flashlight/Torch Toggle

As it says in the tittle those toggles are missing in my phone and i couldnt find them when i try to edit them via settings any way to add them?
Technically they were never missing. As of 4.3 mobile data was removed. And flashlight is a custom ROM add on. Flash sacs it has both.

If you have root access you can try this method. However the sqlite editor app linked in the original post didn't work for me so I downloaded the one from the Play store. It took a couple of attempts but worked out in the end.
I'm on stock/rooted and noticed a widget for "assistive light" which turns on the torch.. anyone else have this?

S4, root, NO SimUnlock.

Hi, After using Odin to flash TWRP recovery and Cyanogen CM-11 Snapshot M9, has not been made Sim Unlock. Is this normal, has a solution ?. The phone works perfectly with Vodafone SIM, which is from the original company of the phone, with another no. I appreciate help. Thank you.

you have to download it again, the file you got is corrupt
uhm... that's the normal behaviour, when the device is sleeping, you turn on the display with every key... at least that's how it's always been with me, with stock 1.48 and axlor v4 and v5
Nonetheless, I'd love to have ONLY the power button to turn the display on, that way it's more difficult for the battery to get drained while the phone is in the pocket
