Anyway to get Ambient Display on Stock? - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've used Pure Nexus Rom and ended up loving Ambient Display alot more than Moto Display but after using the rom for almost a whole month ended up with a Sd Card corrupted bug.
Restored my backup of stock but miss ambient display.
I searched and couldn't find an answer to this question.
Anyway to get Ambient Display working with Stock Rooted Permisive Kernel MM 6.0? Maybe someone knows of an xposed module or a flashable zip that will do the trick?

Light & Proximity Sensor broken?

Hey guys,
I am currently running latest d802f with dorimax 2.5 kernel. The following
problem also accured with stock kernel. As well on latest PA betas for about 2 weeks!
My light and proximity sensor seem does not to work anymore! First I thought its a PA beta problem, but it also accures on stock roms! I installed several auto brightness tools, because I thought somethings rom with the integrated auto brightness. But these additional apps don't work either!
Then I installed "sensor testing" apps and discoverd that NONE of them are showing any values for these sensor. either its "NO DATA" or "ERROR".
So, what to do? Gimme you thoughts plz, thx
Greetings
Up^^
Nobody else discovered the same issue?! An suggestions how to solve it?

[Q] GT-I9500 - Need help fixing problem with RGB colour calibration.

So ever since I moved to lollipop the colour on my screen is a bit off. It looks more yellowish/khaki. This is present even in the recovery of the phone. Funny thing is that if I take a screenshot it won't show those colours but the accurate colour
I'm currently using CM 12.1 which has an option to calibrate the RGB of the display and then the colours look normal again, but only in the ROM (issue remains in recovery). On stock 5.0.1 I do not have that option, and the display modes don't solve the problem
I was hoping you guys could help me with a fix. A way that I can calibrate the RGB in stock ROM. Please help.
You will probably need root.
Why not use a custom stock rom and use a kernel with RGB color options

Ok to update to stock Android 7?

I intend to use LineagoeOS as my main rom. However, my mom is a big pokemon go fan, and while I can pass safetynet, pogo still fails with a GPS error. Strangely ingress still works though.
So I have a twrp back up of the default install I flash when I am with her (after a current backup of course). However, as I was setting up the base install, I got an ota update message.
So my question is should I take the update? Stick with android 6? Is there any negatives that come with a stock upgrade to 7?

Since you have TWRP, you can flash RevivorOS 2 or CreamPie Nougat for debloated stock or Totally stock that's coverted to flashable form by Droidphilev: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/fxz-flashable-stock-npjs25-93-14-4-t3623010 . This way, you can easily roll back to MM if needed. The Nougat's modem and bootloader are backward compatible to MM. Fingerprint sensor may not be (backward compatible) so you may have to fastboot flash MM to regain fingerprint sensor in MM. Fingerprint sensor will work in stock Nougat.
EDIT: Both G4 and G4 Plus are "ATHENE" so roms should be interchangeable so don't worry about G4 or G4 plus. Small changes in RAM and Storage and fingerprint sensor is only differences.

NFC not working and no brightness control

Hi I've done a clean install on i9505 jfltexx and NFC's not working. I've put on latest weekly and latest micro opengapps, I can launch Android Pay but there's no tap. I've installed loads of different NFC tools and tried to read contactless cards, RFID alarm tags and another NFC phone but my phone just doesn't acknowledge them. I've tried several different batteries known to work with NFC, so I'm stumped. I saw a really brief message on a reddit post there's an NFC issue but that's about it, can anyone else help?
Also cannot adjust brightness at all, can move slider but no effect, another reddit post says there's a potential problem anyone else know what the issue is and how can I help resolve it if it's a rom issue?
Thanks
Clean install of WHAT?
LOS, sorry I thought that would have been obvious?
Flash the latest stock rom. If everything works under the stock rom, this indicates a issue with the custom ROM.
All the links to stock ROM took hours to download so haven't had chance yet but I have tried resurrection and mi ROMs last night and both issues show up too. I'm interested to know if anyone is using NFC on lineage with success on 9505?
Then try one of the custom TouchWiz ROMs. It's the closest you'll get without having to wait hours.

proximity sensor

After fair usage of the nexus 6p the screen goes black.. I have concluded it's the proximity sensor which is broken after the nougat update or maybe hardware issue.. Is there anyway I could disable it? It has stock recovery and rom.. Should I flash twrp and a custom rom to disable it or just rootin will do? Please help with a solution guys
