Hello.I hear a little noise from my earpiece like small creak.it's not always happening. As I haven't any warranty..Is there any working sound mod for my earpiece at least to lower the bass so the creak to be minimised?

Have you tested using another earpiece to rule out it's caused by your earpiece?
no dude I mean the inbuild earpiece that I hear the others (not the speaker).when I lower the volume it's ok...

I tried to use yesterday the compass and I noticed very big inaccuracy with high magnetic field values from 100 to 600 .
I tried full wipe with no solution. Suddenly I noticed that the problem was the s view cover . When I remove it ,the compass was working properly again with the magnetic field value to normal levels 25 to 40 . When I move my phone near the cover the value rise to 100 and when I approach the plastic windrow it rise to 600.
I have an official s view cover and I found this problem unacceptable from sammy.
S view cover users can you please try it to tell me your results

S-cover = magnet ;
magnet + compass = inaccuracy
I have the same problem. Right now it is completely unusable (compass, metal detection apps).
I am wondering, if there is some possibility of eliminating this problem by calibration procedure (just subtract this starting value caused by S View Cover magnet) of magnetic field sensor built in.
I don't know if this is a problem really but when I use my Z1 in water (testing if waterproof) the speaker works with really bad sound but after a little while it adjusts itself back to normal. Do you guys have this happening to you too?

Good, thought it was just something happening to mine but now I know it's normal, thanks.
Well it's waterproof, but this doesn't mean that your phones changes Gravity and pushes away the water from it.
Water has to vaporize or fall off so it won't work perfectly just after taking the phone out of water.

Yeah, I just thought that the water couldn't pass the exterior of the phone but I was wrong.
In the manual says that after put into water you have to wait 3 hours until water vaporize completely, so its very normal....

If the microphone and speakers were completely sealed, they would be useless. That's just physics, you lose most of the sound when you go from air to a solid layer, and then to air again. The waves need to stay on the same medium to have good propagation, so, you can't have a physical layer between you and the speaker. In other words, a waterproof phone speaker is very, very hard to do, and impossible to do on a thin shell. You shouldn't use the speaker and microphone for a few hours after submerging the phone, they won't perform very well.

out of curiosity, how do they actually make the speaker/microphone waterproof?

The speaker probably has a water resistent membrane. The microphone jack is probably gold coated.
yeah happened with mine too.. I was worry but everything back to normal after that
Thanks everybody for your answers, I appreciate it.
yop sony should solve tht issue

Itz also happens in my z2 but nothng wrng it recovers withn 30min....
It is indeed a membrane over the speakers and mic. It keeps that water out but I believe it is acoustically transparent when dry. The headphone jack has a seal that gets pushed down to when headphones are inserted. So never insert headphones whilst still wet.
I guys. few days ago I decided to repair the broken glass of my Nexus 4 from my self.
I bought the kit display + touch screen on Amazon and was clearly not the original LG component.
I have replaced the piece without problems, the display lights up, the smartphone battery is recharged, and can start using the bootloader mode and the recovery without problems.
The only problem is that it does not start and does not charge Android. It remains fixed on the boot screen for hours without shutting down.
After a quarter of an hour that the display is turned on in the boot screen begins to heat the upper part near the front camera but nothing too worrying.
DO You think might be a software problem or the problem is definitely the new display?
THANKS FOR HELP ME

Did your phone work perfectly before you broke the glass/replaced the screen? What I would suggest is try unplugging all the flex cables, antenna cable and then reconnect making sure you have reconnected everything properly.

I have already reassembled the Nexus 3 times with new display but no works. now I have refitted the old broken display and so I want to see if the Android system start or stuck on boot animation.

Sorry to hear! Any updates? It definitely looks like a hardware problem.
Cheers Guys. I solved the problem. It was not hardware but was a softbrick. After a dalvik wipe all work perfectly.

Congrats! How is the new display working? Do you see any difference in that compared to the original display?
How much did it cost you?
Hey guys, I just got the phone today. Usually the first thing I do is to shake the phone to see if there is any unexpected noise.
UNFORTUNATELY ... It has. The way I shake it is to hold the bottom half and use the top half like a fan. It sounds like a plastic piece that keeps bumping.
Then I tried to hold some parts tight, but the noise was still there. I wasn't able to find the cause.
Any ideas? Thanks! If it's common I will keep the phone, otherwise I'm gonna return the phone before it's too late.

It is the SIM tray... Remove and try again, there shouldn't be any more noise...

Thanks for the reply. I just powered off, removed the tray with SIM and SD, and shaked again. The sound is still there.
I guess this is due to bad assembly of budget phones ... Did some search and found that maybe the sound is from the camera's OIS module. Unfortunately G5+ doesn't have OIS ...

OK. I think it is the camera module.
The original sound is harsh (just like plastics bumping into each other) , but when I turn on the camera and shake again, the sound is smoother.
So the phone is working as it should but for some reason a person wants to shake it?
It's probably the camera module..try shaking it while the cameras on and see if it still makes that sound.
But really shaking a phone is pretty dumb.

Me to. But to the OP... I do hear a very faint clicking sound when I shake it. As long as your's is faint, I think you're just fine.

No sound no nothing. Weird.
From my point of view the build quality is spot on. At least as good as my m8 never had a physical issue.

nothing
No noise when I shake mine.
Thanks guys for the feedback. Maybe I will file the return in a couple of two days ... My previous phone is a Moto X Pure that started random clicking right after the 15-month warranty expired ...
Maybe it's time to abandon moto ...

Yes the clicking sound ... When I turn on the camera (by twisting it), that clicking sound is fainter.

Same thing here. It is the loose volume buttons (not really loose). Just hold them and shake it, no sound.
Try again without SIM tray... Definitely the crackle is louder with it.
Removing it, only left camera module noise, but you should be exaggerating the shake

Thanks, just turned it off, removed the sim tray, held both the volume buttons tight, and slightly shook again, the sound was still there. I'm filing a replacement from amazon.
I just received the replacement. Still have sound, but smaller. I think I'll just keep this one.

exactly what i was going to say
if you quickly tap on volume button(in my case volume down) without cover or case you would get thet noise
i can clearly listen and feel the button being loose and so it also happens on shaking phone
Also got that sound. :/ With camera on its really faint.
Only on XDA, people are shaking phones like idiots.

You shook me all night long...
Anyone have this problem? And how to fix this?
This is a known problem of S7 wich lots of my friends had too. It's becouse your display is going to unpin from the motherboard for some drops for example. It's covered by warranty so don't worry
