Hi
After i did root for my phone (g360h) it becomes too slow with alot of delays
i've tried to remove the root and re-flashed the stock ROM (with wipe everything) many times but that doesnt work with me and it still slowest than worst phone ever
Any Suggest !
Your phone's slow speed has nothing to do with root. It's maybe because of a particular app, such as Facebook, which is a super memeory hog for a phone with 952MB RAM.
Try "L speed" app to optimize the phone. As you already tried wiping and installing stock ROM.

The problem is after the hard reset (wipe everything) and on the first boot it runs super slow without installing any program
and i've tried alot of stock ROMs but that does not work !!
my phone become too slow after installing Xposed and some modules
i tried to installed multiple stock roms and from first boot its too slow(like keyboard, black screeen in apps , etc)
i do this and my phone is now good with root and few apps so you can try! :
1. download Triangle Away paid version from internet and reset the flash counter
2. go to twrp and make (data, system, dalvik and cache wipe) make sure that second option in setting(use rm instead of formating) is not checked and wait about 15-20 minutes untill wipe finished
3. flash latest frimware for your country or any one (G360HDDUAPA3 the latest!)
4. tell me what happened with you because i do all this and my phone now best!

firstly i forgot to mention that i used Xposed so maybe that makes may phone too slow
2- i tried the first and the second steps (wipe data, system, dalvik and cache) and i flashed new rom but the strange thing is that kernel (always) just wipe cache and dalvik cache but did not wipe data and system
so i've tried CWM recovery and i did all the steps above!
rightnow my phone is better than before but it still not as before installing Xposed
and there is some lag
anyway thanks alot (Shukran Jazeelan)
i am waiting for couple of days to see what will happened

i've just tried upgrading to the new froyo build through kies, but on completion my phone will not turn back on. All i am getting is black screen with random vibrations. I can get into download mode though. Anyone have a link to jf3 or jm1 original firmwares so i can flash back via odin then try kies again?
Go to recovery (volup+home+power) wipe data/factory reset and it will work, happened to me also.

man I cant stress this enough.. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!! After this happened to me I was ready to 1) give up, 2) try to reflash with odin 3) try something even more crazy..
and you saved my but ! I did as you said and it just started up perfectly ! Now I have froyo, all my data, and dont have to reflash or anything !
I just have one question if I may please !
I had a lagfix installed and I didnt disable it before I did the flashing, so do I still have it or what ? Because I didnt loose any data but the applications that I had instaled are not showed anymore.. which bugs me because Ill have to clean up and redo everything.. but at least Ill have a clean phone )
thanks again man !
You need to dis able lag fix before updating or anything

of course I know that now , the issue with my situation would be that after I got it working (did what BaalBehrit said) the phone would boot up normaly, but all apps including of course One-click Lag fix were still there but didn't show as installed apps, nor had they any icons for that matter. Therefore disabling it before second flash was virtualy imposible.
What I did was simple. I backed all my data to my computer and then just formated both SD cards - that probably took care of the lagfix, after that, I did the flash again and everything run smoothly.
but you're right I have to remember for next time
Hi,
Flashed stock JVR. Then flashed SURFACE Rom over it. Then flashed PaulGiddy's theme over it. Now FC msgs appear every 2-3 secs. Sometimes it is acore (BTW what is it?), sometimes it is phone, sometimes mms. Everything is crashing. The phone app, phonebook etc all gone (to where?). Looked around forum and found 2 versions of phone.apk. Installed those .zips on CWM too but did't help.
Pls help somebody!!!
tried formatting phone from cwm??delete data and cache..reboot.reflash with stock again if problem stil persists.

Did it. Then performed a hard reset again by *2767*3855# (just to be ultra clean).
Looks clean uptill now. No FCs.
Now the steps I think should be performed are (in order):
1. Flash a custom kernel (SpeedMod for eg.)
2. Flash a custom ROM (SURFACE, for eg.)
3. Change the CSC to my country (maybe using Nitrality)
4. Apply a good looking theme (PaulGiddy for eg.)
5. Restore Apps by TitaniumBackup.
Now, the thing is, I've done it all before too. But, I dont know which step caused the problem.
Maybe I did all one-after-another without waiting for some time in between to let the things settle (maybe a week or so).
Pls advise what should I do now (I'm still ultra-n00b to flashing world).

If you want to flash surface rom, then just follow instructions in rom thread step-by-step and do everything what is said..many times fc's are caused by bad flash or theme which replaces some apks/files. So try your rom before flashing theme (as boot & few minutes waiting time before that is anyway advised..) and you will see if it's theme which is causing problems.
Also, restore only user apps with TB..

After the Factory reset (wipe data/cache/dalvik-cache) did you restore any application data (via Titanium Backup or similar)?
If not I would suggest a full wipe (format system, data, cache, dalvik-cache) and complete reflash.
Also, double check on how to correctly install mahdi 2.5:
- (Backup)
- Full wipe (including system)
- Flash the ROM-zip
- Flash your device specific patch
- Flash GApps
- Flash SuperSU if needed
Also, the original LG G2 Mahdi-Thread sais to not restore any system-app-data after install (that can lead to Force closing system apps)
If your device runs as it should at this point, you can try restoring the apps and app-data you need (best would be one by one so in case you run into issues you know what causes them).
Assuming your device is not broken Mahdi 2.5 should run pretty much flawlessly (I have not run into trouble yet and I've been running the 04/14 release with the device-patch v2 on my D802 since it came out )

Try to pinpoint which apps doing it. Mahdi's pretty stable for a custom rom I rarely get FC's on it. Or try flashing again, rom - patch - gapps and modem if coming from jellybean.

Well, doing a full wipe and running the rom with the bare minimum from the install procedure (no user apps) would confirm/deny that the ROM itself runs well and the install is good; that would mean one potential sourde of problems is ruled out.
Assuming you didn't mess around with the system partition that would then mean the cause of the problem lies within your installed user apps (or their corresponding app-data). Of course if you already have a suspicion as to what apps may cause the problem I would suggest you clear their data via the app manager and/or uninstall them to see if that helps.
I'm not sure what that app does, if it is supposed to fix wifi problems then I'd say you probably won't need it on mahdi anyway, and yes I'd say that could very well be what causes your issues...
Also you may prevent the automatic installation of apps by either not singing into your Google-account on initial setup or (maybe, haven't tried that though) by specifying to not backup / or restore your user data during initial setup.

Ok At this point I no longer really feel comfortable giving you tips as I personally never messed with the whole bootstack/fastboot stuff on my G2, did you by any chance flash any bootstack related stuff?
Anyway I would probably look for a way to restore everything to stock and start afresh...
maybe this helps? HOW TO get back to stock when your phone stuck in fastboot mode
Or maybe if you have connectivity from the PC in fastboot mode you can flash a 4.2.2 KDZ directly to revert everything to stock...
flash patch again, make sure its right one, for your phone and for the version of mahdi, 23th build and below version2, beta builds version 3 and up

first thing I would say is, do odin to your new firmware, and the out the system, without installing or restore apps, and app data, see if everything is working fine, sometimes by restoring older app data you might run into some problems..

What do you mean with "do odin and the out of the system"?
Use ODIN.. what I mean to say is do the full firmware via ODIN,
And use it like that, a fresh install, see if everything is working well, you should have no problems.
Then see when the lag starts if you are restoring your apps with data.

you didn't answer to my question earlier. Did you do a full wipe ?
by default, any flashing of firmware won't wipe your device. It has been suggested by most ppl here, and other forums website, that if you face any trouble with the new firmware, always do a full wipe. It helps most of the time with most of the funny funny issue.
no i didnt do a wipe as i got it OTA not through odin

are the 2 of you the same person ? LOL
@drashrafsabry : very simple, if you done the OTA already, now try to do full wipe (I assume you are not rooted)
1st of all, you will need to backup your contact (if you keep on your device), you can do by exporting it to sd card, or merge with google/samsung account.
2nd thing you need to backup your sms (if you still need to keep it).
3rd and most important : full wipe from stock recovery, it will delete the entire internal storage. So, if you have any data (photo, movie, songs, etc) which you keep it inside internal storage, you must copy first to your sd card / or your PC / laptop (somewhere else other than internal storage.
Once you finish with all that backup, you may shutdown your device (wait until vibrate to make sure it shutdown completely).
Once it is shutdown, press the 3 combos (vol up + home + power) to go into recovery.
Once inside recovery, choose wipe data, and after finish choose wipe cache.
when it is finish, reboot.
PS : you will need to re setup your initial setup after that.
Good luck.

please anyone help
every time i flashing a rom it going to be too laggy even after a full wipe !
even after changing the recovery the proplem not resolved !!
No solutions. All of us have this lag problem. Maybe it has something to do with our device from production.
Try wiping the whole device 3-4 times without -rf option enabled. It works. If it isn't working the use dreamstar's recovery and wipe the device
me too have the lag issue now

Did you wiped the whole device? I meant system + data + internal + dalvik + cache.. whenever I exclude internal the lags continue..
BTW i meant dreamstar's TWRP recovery

I m sorry I mean TWRP recovery and yes after going to advanced wipe I wiped everything excluding external sd card and flashed stock rom
Tried this many times but getting huge lags
Any suggestions????
You have to format data buddy. Instead of going to advanced wipe choose "wipe data"
Then flash Stock and then you can flash any rom afterwards. No lags guaranteed

There are only three options in twrp i.e. advanced wipe, format data and swipe to factory reset
Which one to choose
My mistake I meant format data there. Choose format data. It'll take a while but does the job

Use 3.0.1 from dreamstar..
And format data for 2-3 times and format system for 20+ times???.. keep a stopwatch and measure the time it takes to finish one wipe of system. once all the **** is removed it should be like 10mins some said that it goes like 14mins.. easiest way is wipe for more than 20 times and reflash ROM download A1 SD bench app. Do a benchmark of internal storage. If Write speed is 20MB/s or more then your problem is fixed if not go back to wiping ???

One of the easiest solution
Hello Everyone,
As all of us (G360H users) know, no matter what we do, lagness comes back after few days of smoothness. I am going to share what I do as a fix.
After flashing any ROM cleanly, lagness bothers after few days. So what to do?
>After you feel your phone is lagging, restart your phone to Recovery (TWRP 3.0.0 and above)
>Backup your system only (to internal storage or SD card doesn't matter, it's normally 600 to 700 MB)
>After Backup is completed, go to wipe section and then advanced wipe then wipe only system (at least 4 times without -rf option enabled, wiping takes some time)
>After wiping system few times, restore the system Backup from 2nd step, once completed restart your phone to system.
>Smoothness can be felt again but it's gonna come back again after few days (normally in around 15 days) REPEAT above steps again.
There's nothing new but this saves time in backing up and wiping up everything or the hassle of setting up a newly installed ROM. All your installed apps and data will stay safe and as they were.
Regards,
S

Bro done all the steps and used dreamstar's 3.0.1 twrp recovery
Formatted data for 3 times, formatted system for 20+ times
But still getting lags, but they are least now as compared before
any more solutions???

Well you just have to do that for a little longer . When we use a storage we write and delete data continuously.. So our eMMC acts like a SSD when we write data they store in blocks and when we delete them usually the indexes are deleted ad data remains. so when we write something again those data in blocks are replaced by new data. So when lot of I/O precesses are going on it eventually remains filled blocks and they acts like fragments in HHDs, o remove them we need the process called trimming. Due to our eMMC's bug that wouldn't finish completely. So we have to wipe the storage manually until all blocks are completely wiped out and clean. Unless R/W speed will get low like 8mbps and that causes lags. Be patient and wipe until it's all gone
