Does anyone face an issue where there is an increasing ringtone volume when receiving calls? Contacted Motorola Support and they said it is by design and not a fault. If so, is there any way to get around the problem?

I have been having volume issues that I haven't seen anyone post about. Alarms I have seen and I'm having the same issue. Not with the alarm app crashing but with the volume itself. The alarm goes off but no volume. Same with phone ring tone and message ringtone. I have missed calls and messages because when the arrive I don't hear them. Everything works like it should just no volume when the volume is set to high. I do have a volume mod installed to make it louder but I had the same issue prior to installing the mod. I'm currently running CromCleanrom but also had the issue with Alliance. If anyone knows a fix it would be greatly appreciated.
When I try to decrease the call volume the slider goes down but the call doesn't get any quieter. Does anyone know how to fix this? I haven't frozen anything recently but is it possible to disable call volume ? Maybe I did it before but never noticed.
I bought a p9 lite last week and found an issue with the ringing tone volume. I always receive calls in maximum ringing volume even its set for medium volume. I noticed that this issue only happence when it's in my pocket or in my locker. When it's on the table volume works as I set. But it really annoying when I receive calls in max sound when I am at work. Plz help me with this. Is it a bug? There's a pending update which I have not done yet. Will it fix this issue? (But patch details don't mention any fixes regard to this issue) plz help.
It's not a bug. Lowering the volume lowers the volume of notifications. Open up the volume dialogue and at the bottom is the slider for the calls. Cheers!
It's called Pocket mode. You can find in the Dialer/Settings/Pocket mode, it's not a bug .
I just got one of these and are having issues with notification sound being very low or not being played at all.
I have opened a case with Motorola support - they tell me that this is by design and notification sounds are increasing volume and because of this the notification sound is probably over before the volume has increased enough to be audible.
Anyone have a workaround for this?
Motorola support suggests to choose notification sounds that have a longer duration ?
I found that if the screen is on or the device is playing some kind of media, notification sounds are working fine.
Finally Motorola support closed the case telling me the solution is to select notification tones that have a longer duration so the volume can get turned up before they are over ?
and by this forcing their costumers to fix the issue by themselves
Hi,
Someone from Asurion just fixed my front screen on my Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-935V), and now when I make or receive calls the volume on the headset is too loud and everyone sounds raspy. When I turn the volume down, they sound clear but this wasn't a problem before they fixed my screen. When I put people on speakerphone, they sound just fine. I'm in the process of contacting them and seeing if they can fix this but until I do, is there anyway to adjust the volume from an hidden menu? Or any ideas what may have happened?
Thanks for you help...
