Unable to save Wifi Proxy Address and Port
When I enter the proxy details and click save and go back again to recheck in advanced settings, all the details are gone except the wifi key.

I am not able to install xposed on it. can some help me with the procedure.
i was stuck on boot logo then i had to flash the rom again.
now i want xposed installer for arm64-v8a devices.

I bricked my phone too while flashing Xposed Installer. Have no idea how to successfully install it.

Just flash the zip reboot and wait.. After 6-7 reboots phone turned on.then goto xposed installer settings then disable resource hooks.reboot.

Text to speech problem
Hey.
My coolpad note 3 just suddenly started speaking all the web pages. I checked talkback and it is disabled. I checked all the settings and nowhere is a solution to be found. Please help.

Charging problem
I bought my Note 3 in last october, now I am facing charging problem with my phone. My cn3 charges only when it is in turned off condition, dont charge when its in on condition. I contacted service center, they said its mother board problem and they wont attened it even my phone is in warranty. Pl help.

Still not a lollipop update.
Even lollipop is so old with the new android N news everywhere. This update fixes stagefright issue. At least,we got the newest security patch.

I am very glad that Motorola and Verizon are giving some attention to our 'old fella' now. While it is sad that they did not give us L or M, at least they released the security update.

Yesterday i updated the new Patch 24.21.7.obake-maxx_verizon.Verizon.en.US and now my phone restarting when i insert SIM.
when i pulled out the SIM card phone is working fine.

Motorola said in February there would be no LP update.

And only 6 days to qualify for the $100 discount on a Turbo2 or Maxx2. (Mini users are SOL. No new options for a smaller device)

Took the update. Still rooted and everything works fine.
For those that went that route, Entitlement Bypass Apk still works as usual too.

But remember to restore the original recovery, instead of twrp.

So it's clear this was a update to there stagefright security patch that apparently took no affect in the SU6-7.3 update. Well I tested my bootloader unlock exploit and was unsuccessful. My kernel would not load and modules as expected. The Trustzone module wasnt loaded to the kernel so the SMC(Secure Monitor Call) couldn't be sent to the Secure world to Rewrite the DWord values. I think my kernel module needs to be recompiled and tested. If anyone is willing to risk a droid Ultra/Maxx/Mini on this bootloader exploit please DM me and I'll send you the details! Cheers! Can i downgrade to su6-7 after taking this update? I want to root this phone and on another maxx i could downgrade from su6-7.3 to su6-7. Has anyone tried doing this?

I've been scouting the webs for an answer that I've never found...
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) that I've upgraded to Marshmallow
The baseband version is G900FXXU1CPB8
I've been waiting months to find a guide to root this phone
I found the Chainfire package and I've tried to root but failed resulting in a hard brick
I've upgraded to Marshmallow again in hope to find a correct guide
I have found out that unlocking the Bootloader is the key but when I go into Developer Options, Enable OEM Unlock is not there
I'm trying to find a way to unlock the Bootloader and root my phone... Please help

It's in security option then uncheck on reactivation lock
After that flash the root file with odin

I'm guessing that I need to use my Samsung Account?

The G900F bootloader is already unlocked. The red no need to enable OEM unlock and so such button exists. You can root by flashing TWRP and supersu

Can you guys provide a link for the TWRP? I can't find any reliable links
Do I have to flash TWRP first or do I install the Chainfire package?

The Truth is:
the 1st guide i found (the same as above), was HERE AT XDA!!!!! (though i cant find it again).
i remember it was a few lines writen what to do, AND IN THE END THERE WAS A LINE THAT SAID: "CLICK HERE FOR GUIDE + PICTURES"!

I have a question, and please beware that I am a complete idiot when it comes to technology, so if someone can help me, please talk to me like you are speaking to a kindergartener!
Ok I've had my phone since the first week of December. Have never had any problems communicating to anyone - call, txt, FB, msngr, etc. For the past couple days, I have 1 contact who can txt me, call me, I can call him, but he does not receive my texts. I've tried another site like this, but nobody answered me. While this is not dire, it is extremely frustrating as we are not able to drop what we are doing at work to call the other. I've tried everything (I think) and truth be told, I've pushed so many dang buttons I probably have this whole phone out of sorts. Oh, we are both with Verizon. We both have android devices. Any suggestions, ideas? Thank you!

Do you have to have a lock set up on the lock screen in order to be able to use finger print sensor? I want to use the fingerprint login for specific apps - Lastpass, bank etc. But I don't want to have my phone locked with anything more than a swipe. It seems whenever I disable locking on the lock screen, it also deletes my fingerprints. Is there a solution to this limitation?

anyway to install just twrp and no root?
I wanna do this so that i can use my work email (required non root)

Question.. I am on Team Devdigitel's rooted stock ROM.
Anything we have to specifically back up in TWRP before making customizations? Flashing mods, changes for system UI, etc. Is the backup and restore process the same as it was with my galaxy? I ask because LG seems to be doing things so different lol. Thanks

Hello, I have a v20 and its rooted, when it boots it gives me the " your phone can't be trusted" screen. I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of that screen without unrooting?

what version do you have? att, vzw, sprint? and were there any errors when you did the dirty santa unlock method?

Hi, I just ordered an unlocked H990DS from Australia. Of course it will come with that region code. LG-firmwares .com doesn't have firmware for my region.
Does the region affect the performance/bands or anything of the phone, or only which languages are available?
What other effect would having the wrong region firmware have?

I think it would generally affect the bands and the language but im not entirely sure. What region are you thinking about putting on it?

Is there a way to set the wide angle camera as the default camera so that 3rd party apps use the wide angle rear camera instead of the current primary?

V20 from tmobile (h918) not working with cricket sim
Hi everyone I just purchases this confirmed unlocked device from ebay and I'm not getting any service on cricket. It works when I tried with an Att sim card, or a foreign sim. I changed all the settings and still no luck. It's strange because when I put my cricket wireless sim I no service (it shows that it is searching for service) but the phone shows I have voice messages and the settings page shows my phone number. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Language English, but bands I would like optimized for Israel. Does anyone know for sure the effect of regions on LG phones please?

Absolutely Fantastic work from the DU team, sad that things happened the way they did, as it's never a great thing to have all your efforts just wiped out by a Narcissistic individual.....
But I'm not sharing any links or ROM.....you'll just have to use your friend Google....
But will add that the ROM is running great on my 3T and credits to the team, found what I was looking for.....

If you want a dark theme you have to use Substratum my Friend.....:good:

So what exactly happened? Did they stop development or just remove from xda because of some noob posting the work as their own

I think it may have been pinched and the build wasn't fully completed, but all the efforts placed were then just blown by some guy creating a thread in the 3 development section, nor clear on weather it was just a bad share (or intent) was the guy a tester? But think it was a low blow......that well when you get to that point of hours/days/weeks working & some twat posts without consent then it can and did P#ss the DU team off...., but no development hasn't stopped from what I see, So glad as DU ROM is great....:good:

DU is alive and kicking but they've stopped using XDA for a while know.
They also don't want people to share links and builds on XDA. You can find them on Google+ and devs-base.

But.. why? Isn't it just in everyone's best interest that a possibly great ROM reaches as many as possible?

The camera will never be good as stock with any custom Rom, sadly.

DU is not allowed to be shared on xda...

It's not only not allowed to be shared on XDA if they find out it is, all development will be stopped until the thread is gone. It's happened before and this will cause it to happen again. I've already reported on the g+ community. You might want this thread gone asap.

IT'S NOT ALLOWED ON XDA! How do you not understand? When they pull the build for the 3 and 3T since they're unified, is on your head. That's the last I'm saying about it.
