I recently had a software update notifcation on my s7 edge but i did not allow it yet because i was unsure if it would affect my foxfi tethering does anyone know or has anyone had any issues?

Hey guys, first time post here so apologies if this isn't formatted in a specific way which is the norm here.
I'm having an issue with my S7 running 6.0.1 and build number MMB29M.G930AUCS2APC2 being able to cast to my Chromecast2. I've gone through all of the troubleshooting steps I can think of and have not been able to duplicate this issue on any of my other android devices (Nexus tablet, S6 Edge, Chrome browser casting). The issue being that when I attempt to connect my phone through netflix/plex/hulu/youtube (any integrated casting app) the Icon will change to the connecting state but will never establish a connection allowing me to play the selected media. As mentioned above I've been unable to reproduce this issue on any of my other devices and am thinking it's isolated to either the phone or 6.0.1 (S6 Edge is on 5.1.1). Anyone else having these issues?
The only way i've been able to resolve this issue is to factory reset my Chromecast2 and set it back up on the network, at which point the S7 is able to cast to that TV.
Has anyone been able to find a way to turn this feature back on while rooted? Any apps that offer this? Not talking about sharing 4g/3g internet, talking about sharing my wifi with other devices.
S7 had this feature but Verizon wanted to disable it for some reason.
I would also like to know this information.
I bought my s7 edge recently and updated it to Nougat.... I bought S7 edge s-view online and checked my settings.... accessories icon is gone!! After browsing the forums, it is mentioned that it is present in advanced features... but i am not able to find the icon... please help....
anyone having issues with the service? after the update the service completely stopped working for me. can't call out, no data nothing.
Hi everyone i have a s7 edge as you know sprint version i do update it whenever it is available,I am right now living in PAKISTAN and using the sprint version everything works fine but it has few problems first of all the hotspot problem i cannot share with more than one person and even to share i have to use a quickshortcut app and second main frustrating problem is samsung dm service i have to force stop it every time when i restart my phone and i hate it and for this reason i avoid restarting it for weeks or a month,I want to ask if i can replace the ROM with the PAKISTAN version,is it safe and possible and if i cannot change ROM can i root it and as i told earlier it has the latest update from sprint,help me
