We recently bought a BT-2000 and we want to install an App from the Moverio Apps Market. How to do that?
In the software release note it is said that:
"As BT-2000 is positioned to be mainly used by separately developed App, pre-installed application including standard Android App is minimized. And to prevent from installing App carelessly, BT-2000 cannot connect to MOVERIO Apps Market. Pre-installed App list in BT-2000 except Android standard is as below."
This is very annoying. Isn't there a way to connect to the App Market as a developper?

I know that every per per install network requires you to integrate their SDK into your app before enabling you to promote your apps.
But in ayeT-Studios doesn't require SDK. How in the world will they know if the user actually installed the app or just clicked its ad and never installed it after opening Google store?

They have an app called CashPirate, and all the user incentivized downloads are started from this app. So they can detect every app installed on the device and match with the apps that the user clicked on CashPirate.
In general, it does not seem to be a scam, there is a discussion about the service on makingmoneywithandroid website.

I used ayetstudio for few times, and i really like it...It is not a scam...working well and cheap...
Ayet studios is using advanced codes and it tracks the device of its users and so it matches the apps on users device to the ads clicked and that is why it is without any skd. It is very cheap and I am also its user.
ayeT-Studios has cheaper price for install. But it quolity is not perfect, I use it with other install sources.
As stated, the sdk integration is not needed because we use our own traffic sources (CashPirate and GiftPanda).
But we do now offer a free tracking sdk to enable some more features (CPA campaigns, easier managed campaigns, CPE) and give you even better fraud prevention!
Greetings,

I don't really know ayeT-Studios but there are lot more other ASO providers available if someone looking for incentivized traffic. I'm using Android Installs services since a year and I have never problem with the delivered installs. Most of the times I've got extra installs on the top what I've ordered. Unfortunately they have no refferal system, but I share it: androidinstalls.com
I'm a Developer and I know exactly that no need any integration to track app installation or open.
Is there a good app to get a quick overview of all installed apps, their targeted SDK and if they use the new 6.x backup feature?
The app should at least be able to show a list of all installed apps and sort them by "Target SDK". It would be even better, if it could check, if the developer opted out from the new backup feature of Android 6.x.
I did a search on the GooglePlay and found App Detective. It allows to sort apps by "Target SDK", but it hasn't been updates for two years, so it mixes SDK versions and Android version names and there is no feature to check for the new backup feature.
Do you know other apps, that are better and/or still in active development?
I'm quite familiar with sideloading regular Android apps that don't have an Android TV version, but is there any way to force an app that supports both to use it's mobile version for the Shield TV? I have a VPN through SurfShark that only provides a single apk, and the UI changes depending on if you install it on a phone or Android TV. Problem is on the Shield I'm missing a few features that the app has on my phone, namely the reverse whitelist (selecting only a few apps that use the VPN, everything else is left alone). Also in the SurfShark whitelist options it shows all the installed apps on my phone, but on the Shield many apps aren't listed (Prime TV, NHL, etc).
Apart from waiting for their dev team to fix the Android TV UI, the easiest fix would be to just install the mobile version on the Shield but I can't figure out a way to do that since it's just a single apk, and Google isn't helping either.

Soome app with that allinone package usually changed with how you launch it. Try launch it through sideload launcher usually load mobile one.
1. Install my AppStart app from the Appstore on one of the parent profiles. This is a very simple app that lists all the apps and lets you start one. No ads, minimal permissions, about 34K in side. It may sound like a launcher, and launchers are banned by Amazon, but technically it's not a launcher--it's just an ordinary app, approved by Amazon. Source code is here: https://github.com/arpruss/appstart
2. Go to parents.amazon.com and share the AppStart app with the child profile (or do it in the tablet's Settings on the parent profile).
3. Go to the child profile's shared content section and download AppStart.
4. Side-load whatever apk you want into the child profile. (E.g., by enabling debugging and using adb install, or in some other way.)
5. Use AppStart to launch the side-loaded app.

It still seems to be working OK even with the latest Amazon Fire OS build 7.3.2.6 (running on a Fire HD 8 Plus (10th Gen)
Is it possible to have a PIN code needed to see the hidden apps? This works well to allow for sideloaded content but there are really some apps I'd rather my son not be able to mess with. I put them in hidden but he might figure out how to get there.
Would be great to customize the "default" list in a way that you can select just a few apps that show up there and "all" apps in a separate list. I want to use it just for a few side-loaded apps (currently just one actually), but also all apps installed via the app store show up and clutter the screen.
Hello.
Our Wear OS application, which is not a standalone application (it is a companion app of our smartphone app, it cannot be used without the smartphone app) keeps getting rejected by Google Play Policy team for the following reason : "Your application requires phone interaction for the watch version to function." even if we have clearly explained in our Play Store description that it is not a standalone application and cannot work when the smartphone app is not available.
Our application was previously accepted and published on the Play Store but we suspect a Google policy change even if we haven't found it clearly anywhere (we have only found recommendations which encourage standalone apps).
=> Are not-standalone Wear OS apps still allowed for Play Store submission or must our Wear OS app include at least a standalone feature ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards
I am not sure, but I know there are some apps that are embedded in the phone app to deploy to a WearOS watch (like the Hyundai Blue Link App and the Genesis Intelligent Connect App). If your phone is paired with a WearOS watch, it loads the app onto the phone. Maybe you can try something like that.
Funny thing is the apps right now do not load the app to the Watch4. I think it is because the Watch4 is on WearOS4. I had a different watch at one time that was plain Jane WearOS and the app loaded just fine. I am looking for Hyundai/Genesis to correct this issue. I hope.
I also got a wear os companion app update reject on 6.Jul. My last update was successful on 30.May.2022. Did not see any policy regarding to the companion app issue. It is just weird and I have also appealed to get more info. Did you appeal the reject?
