When the rom was first leaked into the scene, qik had an updated version and when I was messing around with my mom's phone it was different version then mine and one that's on the market. (Currently running on mignight 2.9 rom)
It responds quick and has alot of features that I liked.
If anyone can extract this app or who has can share it, I would greatly appreciate it.
Siptang.
Here is the qik.apk from the acs dk28 base. I haven't tested to see what version it is, though.
I'm going to test it now. Thank you so much.
Edit: It was that one thank you so much.
Hi everyone..
Does anyone know how to install the gingerbread keyboard to a non rooted android device?
Im currently running the official android 2.2 firmware and I'm finding it hard to get the keyboard working! every time I try to type a message it keep saying force closed.
Is their anyone out there who can help me solve this issue?

I use it on my non-rooted official Froyo
Erwin
I'm using the application from the market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.moo.android.inputmethod.latin.free&feature=search_result
Has some language packs, en there are a few optional(Check out more apps from deleveloper for additional language packs such as Dutch). Works well on unrooted wildfire.
Oh thanks mate, you're a big help! if there anything I can help you with in the future, just pm.
Once again thanks.

I would try asking here. More likely someone there will know.
i got a rooted blade(2.3.5) and my buddy got a stock rom skate(2.3.4).. both work like a charm, so why would there be any reason to suspect the opposite in the first place considering you even saw them running on custom roms ? name a free/demo and I'll give it a try
@flashplayer: there's none that i know of
I recently bought the G2 and apparently it has a really nice camera, but I'm just not seeing it, as the stock camera app seems to be doing a rubbish job. Does anyone have a solution, like a better app or another phones app ported over? Or are we just sticking it out?
The stock camera is the best of them all....If you want to improove it more, you need to be rooted and with a custom recovery, then install a camera mod that helps quite alot.
