There is already a patch for this look here.
This patch is in the same thread as where you downloaded the rom, maybe you should first read the thread and ask questions about bugs after that.
Aw.. Thank you guys
I made a search in the thread with "rotation" and "orientation" and found nothing, so I just deduced that I was the only one with this bug..
I just tried the new x-ui posted by coderzs. Here is the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098193
Unfortunately, it seems the camera app is missing. I have done a full wipe before flashing the rom. Anyone has some idea?
It seems like a clean fast rom that I would be sticking with if the issue can be fixed. Thanks in advance!

All,
as of CM-11-20140520 (and later) I have experienced that autorotate does not work anymore.
After installing up to CM-11-20140523 stil no luck!
I have now gone back to cm-11-20140504-SNAPSHOT-M6-find5.zip and autorotate works again!
Anyone else with this problem?
Bert
Oppo Find 5
modem-4.2.zip
cm-11-20140504-SNAPSHOT-M6-find5.zip
gapps-kk-20140105-signed.zip
Exact same issue here. Still not fixed in latest nightly. Went back to snapshot and working again.
Someone over on Oppo forums discovered a soft reboot using xposed brings the sensors back until the next full reboot. Still the builds are broken, but if you're really desperate to use them...
Circumvention with xposed works

Thanks for the info batwingnz!
I can confirm that this circumvents the problem.I tested it with cm-11-20140528-NIGHTLY-find5.zip.
However, the rom is still broken.
Hope the developers pick this up!

The same user on Oppo Forums also discovered that using the faux kernel helps

Hi all
Have a problem with the gear vr.
The oculus app loads fine but when i am in the home screen, its possible to browse.
The problem is it wont register head movment.
What can this be?
Reinstalled rom and app.
Give all permissions.
Calibration of the gyro sensor on phone.
Hope that there is a solution
Greetings
Kevin
I'm having the same problem as you. Have you found a solution ?
I recently got this same problem!! Does it have to do with custom firmwares? im running a custom rom since recently.
Edit: For me it was a bug in my custom kernel, upgrade to NX 16 fixed it!
