seems I need root access for that, and I don't to root it until I am sure the hardware is all ok.
luckily the device is still new, I will do a factory reset.
thanks.

This application has caused many bricked devices I would like to warn the community of this app because I work with many people with this problem on YouTube even I tried Kingoroot and bricked my device now it's working fine if you would want to check and see if I'm stating the truth just stop on by at my channel at <MOD EDIT - Link Removed> <----- Due to the mods just being like that i will no longer be on xda all my content will be posted on youtube its a bunch of bull**** that they even removed the link
Thanks for the heads up...I was just gonna go that route...It seemed too easy
I wonder if that's the same for the Cricket model too, then since they are all the same spec's and size.
I rooted with kingroot on my boost stylo and it didn't brick but caused a lot of bugs like phone lagging, some apps constantly auto-closing/crashing like browsers, phone freezing up, etc. so I uninstalled kingroot and currently unrooted and the problems stopped completely...people on other forums were saying it's the kinguser app in kingroot that is causing the issues and there is a fix available to remove kinguser and replace it with supersu and people are reporting it is working with no issues but I haven't tried it yet. Can anyone verify that this method works?
Thanks for the heads up bro
No problem man
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this method to replace kinguser with supersu after rooting with kingroot and can verify it is definitely working with no issues or if there are any issues.

thats what bricked my device
Was it the kingroot that bricked it or the supersu fix?

Kingoroot bricked his device, not kingroot. They're two separate apps
Oh ok...so has anyone had issues with the supersu fix with kingroot?
Do not do it on the Cricket Wireless LG G Stylo

It will brick your phone and will be stuck and have to send it into LG for repair since their is no support for this model. If you switch over to SuperSU update binary and restart phone BRICKED!.
Or KingO ROOT?? Clarify man please.
Has anybody had issues with media with any app pausing randomly? I have not successfully rooted my Stylo, but I have tried King root and it failed. This happened to be the same day Google music, YouTube updated. Possibly other Google apps as well. Just don't know if this was caused by the kingroot attempt or the Google updates.

I wouldn't trust king root or any other 3rd party "universal" root program.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of support for our LG G Stylo.

I guess my issue didn't have to do with the kingroot attempt. It was the version of Telegram I had that caused the problem. They have since updated and it resolved the issue.

I rooted my h540 with kingroot and got bricked after a few days. I turned off and got bricked, so I reinstall the firmware rooted again with kingroot and changed kinguser for supersu and everything it's ok now.

Sprint lg g stylo updated from LP 5.1.1 from here to MM 6.0 from this forum. Lost root etc so I installed kingroot on the phone and have ran it with no problems and have root success, but it does take 2 runs for kingroot to do the trick and the phone does lose root on a reboot. I was able to debloat a bit and if I do need a reboot I just rerun kingroot again 2 times and have root again. I have not tried to replace SU.

I used kingroot on boost stylo on 6.0 and it did work on the second try, but it made some things buggy so I tried deleting it but it says it's a "pre-installed" app now and I can't figure out how to uninstall it. Tried using SuperSU but it fails every time.
I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve always been tech savvy or at least been able to research and follow directions for things I’d like to do on my devices. I flashed my rom using Odin to fix the bootloop, but I still need a way to successfully move the app to system apps without getting stuck in a bootloop. Here is what I have done or attempted so far:
1. I have a Galaxy Tab 4. I recently rooted this device using Kingo Root.
2. After I rooted the device I confirmed I had root access and everything seemed ok. I have used this app before to root other devices with no problem. I wanted to root this device so I could move Fake GPS Location Spoofer to the system apps folder and make it a system app.
3. I used lucky patcher to move the app to the system apps folder. However when it went to reboot my device, my device became stuck in a bootloop. After trying to repair the os, I successfully used Odin to flash my rom (android 5.1.1) and fix the problem.
4. After attempting to move the app with other file folder systems with root access, I still can’t move this app without it resulting in a bootloop.
What am I missing or doing wrong? Any suggestions, solutions, or insight would be welcome. If you need additional information or detail, just let me know. Thanks!
Update: After some more testing I believe that the rooting with Kingo Root is the problem and not the attempts at moving the app to system app. I flashed the 5.1.1 Rom with Odin then proceeded to to reroot the device with KIngo Root. Once I did that and it showed as successful. I restarted my device and I got the bootloop problem. I've tried rooting the device SM-T330NU using the method in the general section of the samsung tab 4 forum but was not able to boot into recovery and got a different bootloop problem that would go black and then blink repeatedly. I made sure to use the download for the 8.0 so I'm not sure what is going wrong.
Suggestions?
Update 2: I managed to finally root my device with the CF method. I am still not sure why the other methods I used didn't work.
After having uninstall root completely and reformatting my phone several times I still haven't been able to fix my root or reinstall root in any sort of way and I've tried every method. Here are the details from Root Checker Pro if anyone can help! Thanks
I have done a few very successful roots in the past but have experirnced my first issue today with a newly rooted SM-T360 Tab4 Active. I used "CF-Auto-Root-rubenswifi-rubenswifixx-smt360" and Odin 3.12.3. The root passed with no error messages and I moved on. Installed Supersu Pro and ROM Toolbox Pro. Along with Root Checker. Here is my issue, after the tablet sits running for a while it seems to lose its root credentials. Supersu and root checker both report the same thing. I may have found a connection with busy box making it happen but I'm still not sure. Anybody ever had this issue before?
