Please help me. I tried a factory reset from the settings and now im stuck in boot loop, i see samsung logo then samsung animation over and over.

My device is a UB version so there is no stock firmware available, from all that ive gathered so far.
I just went thru the root method again hoping it would unbrick it from the boot loop but it didnt.
How can i get out, anyway possible. Maybe install a rom or something????????
I can get into download mode and cwm if that matters.
ANY other info needed ill be right here to answer

I can only assume that you are stuck in a boot loop not because of root but because you removed or froze some system apps and didn't undo it before you did a factory reset.
At this point just flash one of the other stock ROMS using Odin and it should bring you back up.
If you are looking for your specific stock firmware you will need to know your product code (usually it is on the box and will show up something like GT-N7000XNBFSS) You will also need to know the EXACT version of your PDA, CSC and MODEM and then you will be able to grab that specific stock rom using CheckFus
I didnt freeze any apps at all. i was still in playing mode. my phone looked ugly from all the messing around i did.
I just wanted to reset back to default for everything and start over

Here's what I did:
1) Installed CWM recovery with odin. This is relatively straightforward.
2) get the hong kong rom, put the zip file directly on your sdcard.
3) use cwm's 'install from zip' to install the rom.
It's pretty straightforward, and I didn't have to mess with pit files.
The hong kong rom might not be the latest, nor is it stock, but I'm recommending it because it's a working rom that I installed fairly easily.

CWM was already working because i guess it was installed when i rooted with that not so popular method. installed the hong kong rom. i was hoping to get a stock rom cause i was playing with stuff and checkin it all out, but thats ok, this is probably what i would have ended up with, a nice clean system without all the garbage.
privacy/ factory reset is WORKING now !!! and the yellow triangle is gone now

Ok lastly, i lost CWM with this rom though its rooted. I like that. How do i get CWM back. I need to flash that updated market thing with it to update gmail app

OK I've finally got it back but I'm not in love with these custom roms. I tried the Hong Kong ROM but it was cleaned of a lot of apps and a few problems. I'm now on one of the other roms but it seems to be chewing thru battery and a couple of apps that showed and installed from the market on my stock ROM do not show in market and say incompatible from the market web site. I wish I could just get back to factory. Maybe ill sell it and order another one and not root until its an easy root method like the infuse was

Ive been having some issues with my note 3 sm-n9005. out of no where the phone started spazing out meaning it overheats aps randomly close i cant download any apps from the play store(always getting this error 960 or it says package file invalid) and the phone sometimes restart it self so right now i have no use of the phone. I've tried rooting it and trying some custom roms like cm i tried the bobcat rom but that did working and i used the omega rom all of them did the same thing. I'm not sure if the note has some bad flies that causing it to do what its ding so i would really like it if somebody could have me. I live in the Bahamas so i don't have the luxury of sending the phone back I'm not even sure if the phone can be fix im sure its a software problem i just don't know now how to fix it. and right now i had it on a stock rom and i tried rooting it again and now it would up then restart and then go into recovery mode. i rooted it usinf clockwork mod. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLZ!!:crying:

my suggestions?
flash a stock ROM, and do a clean up (factory reset & clear cache) from stock recovery. This is the simple way.
my guess (if I'm wrong, correct me), you come back from CM/AOSP to TW, and it start to be like this.
Well im not sure if I had rooted it properly but I did all that I downloaded the stock hk rom to try see if thag will get it from booting in recover I know thats the easy fix. My big issue are all the other problems I had before I even tried to root the phone

stock HK firmware ?
Is your device is N9005 HK/Taiwan version ?
if not, you can't just use the HK/Taiwan firmware onto your N9005.
Its the sm-n9005 the international model

if yours is the international model of 32GB N9005, it is strongly suggested not to flash HK/Taiwan firmware.
This 2 firmware is basically only for HK/TW N9005, which is earlier was came in 16GB. Means the partition is different from the 32GB.
after that, they come up with 32GB, but... I might be wrong (correct me if I do), I read somewhere the partitioning also different.
So, Why don't u flash other international firmware ?
Have you tried other than HK/Taiwan firmware ?
I believe so as well. Regardless either 16 or 32gb HK fw doesn't play well with other regions n9005

If you haven't flash stock rom then just flash it first to see if the issue persists. Factory reset and wipe cache from stock recovery after done odin flashing.
If issues persist, root you phone again, install custom recovery sych as TWRP, use DrKetan's imei backup tool here

make a nandroid backup if your current rom, wipe system/data/cache(don't wipe internal or external storage if you save your nandroid backup and imei backup in any of them else you will lost it. You will never know when they would be handy if you lost your imei in any way). Then flash again stock with odin.
My friend's note3 has terrible lag after upgrade to KitKat. It took a few minutes after reboot just to get unlocked so I helped him to reflash using odin but after 3 different firmwares flashed still not get resolved. I did the same. No more issue after that.

Just switched to metropcs and got myself a SM-G530T1. I have searched for an hour for a working root to this rom... with no success. I also discovered there is no ODIN flashable firmware available for download.
I am aware there is a method that works by ODIN flashing the firmware of T-Mobile SM-G530T [AOF8] and then rooting with ShinySides [AOF8] kernal... but doing this removes some native functionality and adds t-mobile bloat ware.
So I am looking for either a working Temp root or Perm root for the SM-G530T1 [AOH9], Android 5.1.1, Baseband: G530T1UVU1AOH9.
And then I will be working on creating a ODIN flashable backup firmware of this version for others. Just need help with step one.. rooting.

so i bought this phone about 3 months ago (SM-G530T1) and i bricked it 3 days after i bought it by installing busybox un-rooted. still not sure how that happened but that is not the point, the point is i flashed the only stock firmware i could find (at the time) and it just so happened to be a mis-marked T-mobile firmware package. i didn't let it bother me though and continued to gain root and flashed ShinySides [AOF8]. It worked like a charm! I was just running T-mobile FW on a MetroPCS phone and it just got confusing if you have to call costomer service lol. so i made sure it worked in every way and removed all the bloatware. the only problem i had was with the hotspot feature, it had a mind of its own and that got annoying but i dont really use it that often so i could live with that. the phone was a champ! so i went to find a recovery or twrp. i was looking and found TWRP 2.8.7.0...it was not for the SM-G530T1 but it sorta worked and when i say sorta i mean it does pretty much everything you want it to do except BACK UP FILES! Lol! (at least for me anyways) so i ran that with the T-Mobile software for a few months until lastnight... see I didnt know about the failure to back up my files issue so you have to understand that i fully expected the TWRP Backup files to work and last night when i went to restore one of the BUps it informed me that i had no OS anymore !! oh man i wanted to puke! Upon further inspection i realized that it was only backing up about 20% of my system only and i should have noticed but i didn't expect that and that is how we learn the difference between knowledge and wisdom right? OK so at that point i had a bricked phone (MY DAILY DRIVER i might add) and i was not to happy to lose all my personal info either, so i went back on XDA to see what i could do. i was very pleased to see that there was now a working MetroPCS Package compliments of TSAR3000 and I went to work. I flashed it via Oden and was happy to see the familiar MetrPCS logo again, but i needed to re-root it so i used the ShinySides [AOF8] just to see if it would worked with the metro Firmware and it did! it trips KNOX but i could care less cause i dont want that crap anyways and i get rid of it right away lol. I debated if i sould put this next part in the message but i decided i would because people should be weary of programs and roots applications and remember that this is the true reason we root and unlock our phones to begin with... so Im not a paranoid person by nature but i dont trust King root or any of those one click apps companies because of some article i read a while back about how the Chinese root apps and downloads could possibly contain spyware but i never found any truth to it but from what i do know about the Chinese government i dont take the chance but its my opinion and i like the good old fashion (though a little more involved) flashing of SuperSU or whatever you like. Nice post. I tried using this method but got a fail in Odin: Received his msg on the phone: Custom binary blocked by frp lock. When i tried flashing ShinySides [AOF8]. Could you please advise how to bypass the FRP Lock.

I think you can flash the metro firmware thru Odin and that MIGHT fix it I've Gotten mixed messages about it me personally i never experienced the issue though

Damn. So no real reliable root for the SM-G530T1 without using T-Mobile firmware?
I just bought it today assuming it would be as easy as all the other Samsungs I've owned in the past.
Just make sure your oem unlock is marked (YES) In developers options. This means your phone can be unlocked to flash firmware or recoveries and such... this is not to be confused with carrier unlocked though. This should help with the frp problem. as far as the "flashing of firmware through odin" the firmware that is available for the metropcs variant is designed to be odin flashable exclusively. If it isn't working than either you have an a faulty firmware package or a firmware pacage that I'm not aware of.

if you want to root it still just download SM-G530T1 A0H9 stock firmware ill send you the link if you need it, download stock firmware you have now for backup, download the stock firmware for the SM-G530T A0F8 and the root kernel for the SM-G530T here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/gr...l-root-root-sm-g530t-5-1-1-t3203476?nocache=1 you will also need the newest version of odin to do this. So first flash the A0H9 stock firmware and then the A0F8 firmware to change it to t-mobile and then that root kernel and you should be fine. If you run into any problems flash the stock firmware you had when you started.
Thanks for the reply. I managed to root the phone a couple of months ago but it did not do me that much good. I still can't delete the unwanted carrier and Google apps, and I can't get apps to download automatically to the SD card instead of the device. Is there any way to get rid of the bloatware?

So I have the s7 paid 1/2 it off n became eligible 4 an upgrade which I took & got the s8+... I do not have a computer or have access to 1 to be able to flash back to stock via computer... If anyone could point me in the direction of the next best thing, n what I would need?
Nothing else is wrong with the device, Knox is not tripped, good shape, it's just rooted with stang5litre rom... Thank You in advance 4 any help
**Edit** I know the risks involved with NOT using Odin via computer 2 flash bootloader n such, it's just I don't have that luxury at the moment & I'm **** outta luck, so I need the next best thing

You don't have a computer, but want to upgrade to the s8+? I wouldn't take the chance using flashfire because it has bricked a few phones this way. I would find a friend and borrow a computer to be safe or give back the s8+ and save money

I would recommend going to a friend or using a public computer and flashing or using the Verizon recovery assistant.
