Replacing Mic Board, home button now hard to press - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I've replaced the mic board. And now I have to press the home button with a bit of force for it to recognise. Everything else is working fine and I cant figure out why, everything's making good contact tact and nothing wrong
Has anyone else done this/had this issue?

So after giving up and putting the case back on I used on-screen buttons. Then just decided to check to see it if works. Works fine untill I touch the metal around the phone so appears to be a grounding issue
Is there any fix for this?

Power button stuck down

Hi All
My power button on my phone is stuck down, It not longer sticks out. I can still get it to work if i push it down with the stylus.
I stuck a pin down each side of the button to ensure the button was not wedged under any part of the case but this has not resolved the issue.
Im not sure what to do and it is starting to become annoying.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so, how did they fix it?
Thanks
Fixed
My button is fixed. No idea how. I just pulled it out of my pocket and went to press the button and it was back to its old self again.
So if anyone has a broken button in the future, just give it a day or two and it will probably fix itself
Thanks All

Call button and hang-up button, ... don't work

Hi,
my P3600 has a problem - pressing call and hang-up button as well as ok, menu and 2 function buttons on the top keybad do not work.
However, center and direction buttons do work.
This happened before, then worked again, now happening again.
Any ideas anyone? a HW problem or a ROM / hardspl problem? (tried different roms same thing happens)
thanks for your help.
Needs a bump
Just bumping the thread cause I have the exact same problem on my phone. I had it in my camera bag on a hiking-trip this weekend and I think either it was pressed against something or the moist got it. The center buttons still work, but I dont think its on the same connector inside.

Hard buttons move left and right

I am using a HTC HD2,
I have just noticed that there is some play with the buttons on the front.
If you put your nail between the home and windows button the whole thing moves left and right by a few mm.
Does anyone else have this movement?
Looks as though the button block has come loose from the circuit board.
I am talking about the hard buttons on the front of the HD2.
All functions work I am just wondering if this is a fault or if anyone else's phone does this, ta
Yeah mine too, volume buttons are flimsy too.

Home button broken & Phone keeps restarting

I've tried
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/guide-oneplus-2-home-button-dead-t3324321
none of the solutions worked while I was on Seraphs CM13.
There wasn't any on-screen buttons even in the buttons menu, so then I decided to flash Oxygen back on it because I know there was on screen buttons. After getting Oxygen 2.2.1 back, I tried to call *#808# and it would just lag and nothing would show up. Now the phone keeps restarting on it's own, power button doesn't make the clicky sound anymore however I'm able to feel when it's pressed down and I'm not sure if the power button is the cause of it. Not sure what to do from here, should I just contact OnePlus? It's been several months with my phone.
Same here
The home button on this phone is a capacitative one, it should not make any clicking sound as it's static.
Probably your home button and/or IC circuit just died for you like many others (me included). I swapped the button myself, as I'm pretty used to repairing phones myself, but that alone didn't fix the home button so it's probably the speaker IC or flex cable going up to the mainboard that's gotten fried by static electricity through the button.

Power button presses but nothing happens.

Hi, I recently cracked the screen on my phone. I bought a replacement and reconnected everything just fine. The phone was working great, but all of a sudden the power button stopped working. It still clicks and everything, but it's as if the phone doesn't detect it. The two volume buttons still work fine. Anybody know what might be causing this/how I can fix it?
