What about the TA partitions?

Would be interested in knowing that too

Sorry for the question, but what are TA partitions?

From what I've read it stands for "Trim Area". If you unlock the bootloader it always erases the TA partition so yes you will lose your DRM keys and unless you back them up first they will be gone forever. There isn't enough info available to suit me regarding this situation so I have chosen to leave my bootloader locked for now. The OP should tell people up front this method will wipe your DRM keys.

Thank you.

Yes It works for me (E6833 6.0.1 32.2.A.0.253).
You have to choose your kernel with care (device and build number).

[Root any Moto G] with screenshots [Simple Method|Well Explained]

Hi...
This is the tutorial to root any Moto G
To root any Moto G, three basic steps need to be followed... you can either do them manually or use a tool do them for you. It is advised to follow them manually so that if there's some bug in the tool you don't get into any trouble.
CAUTION - You will lose all data and files so better back them up.
For Google Play edition devices, the process is same and only the recovery.img file is different. For GPe CWM Advanced Edition recovery go here https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/ and select falcon_gpe and download the latest one.
For AT&T and Verizon models don't do anything written above. Just download the Towelroot app. Its a one click root app and doesn't require a PC. Itis trustworthy but is not guaranteed to work but you must give it a try since it won't do any harm and claims of never bricking a phone. Please reply with the result and your android and kernel version. It will probably not work on phones build after June 3 but you can give it a try. You can download it from the website https://towelroot.com
The three steps are :-
1) UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER
2) FLASHING CUSTOM RECOVERY
3) INSTALLING SuperSu.zip FILE THROUGH RECOVERY. (SuperSu is acknowledge as the best app to give superuser and root rights)
UNLOCKING THE BOOT LOADER - The instructions to unlock the boot loader are given in the official Motorola website here https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a . Don't be scared by their warnings.
UPDATE - There currently seems to be an issue with unlocking the bootloader on devices running 4.4.4 though it works for 4.4.2. The issue is with Motorola and is that, the unlock code given by the company is showing an error. They are fixing it and it may take some time though you can give it a try as it won't do any harm. Or you can downgrade the boot loader to 4.4.2 and then unlock it.
As confirmed by the Motorola agent, the problem of unlocking bootloader on 4.4.4 has been fixed
FLASHING CUSTOM RECOVERY :-
To flash a custom recovery, you need these things
1) PC and a USB data cable
2) Android SDK ( developer.android.com/sdk/index.html ) For flashing recovery only SDK is needed but it's your wish if you want to download the ADT bundle. After downloading and unzipping the sdk , open the SDK manager and download only the platform tools for this.. rest is your wish..... and separately download ADB tools and fastboot and extract them minimal-adb-and-fastboot.software.informer.com/1.1/
3) Recovery.img file - You can either use CWM foum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563599 or CWM advanced editionforum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639583 or TWRP forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561757. EDIT - If your phone had come pre installed with 4.4.4 then use only CWM Advanced Edition. CWM Advanced Edition doesn't make backup on XT1033
4) Motorola drivers https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/97326/p/30,6720,9050
5) Enable USB Debugging mode in your phone by going to Settings-About Phone and then tap the build number until you get the toast 'You are a developer'. Now go to Settings again and you will see a new Developer Options there. Go there and enable USB debugging.
6) Have at least 25% of charge on your phone.
After getting all these things:-
1) Download the recovery.img file to your PC and copy paste it to android SDK/platform tools folder.
2) Boot your phone to fastboot mode by first switching it off and holding the volume down and power button for 3 seconds.
3) When in fastboot mode, connect your phone to pc, go to the platform tools folder, there pres shifft and right mouse click simultaneously and select 'open command prompt window here'.
4) In the command window enter
Code:
fastboot devices
If it shows a number and fastboot then we are good..
5) Then enter
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
( where in recovery.img the recovery is the name of your recovery file. Example if the name of recovery file is ABC then enter fastboot flash recovery ABC.img)
5) Press enter and if the command prompt window displays the message okay then the recovery is successfully flashed.
6) Now just boot your phone to recovery mode through fastboot mode by following the on screen instructions and in recovery mode select Reboot System Now to reboot your phone normally.
(see attached images below for screenshots)
INSTALLING SuperSu
To install SuperSu :-
1) Download SuperSu zip file download.chainfire.eu/452/SuperSU/ and transfer it to your phone
2) Reboot to recovery via fastboot.
3) Select install zip and select choose from SD card.
4) Locate the file and install it.
5) Now reboot your phone.
YUP.. YOU ROOTED YOUR PHONE!

I have a huawei p6 but I'm absolutely not satisfied with that and I bought a moto g for my girlfriend and that is awesome.
The only thing why I haven't bought the g for myself as well is the rooting. That time I didn't find an easy way to root it.
If it is a working method than I will buy the 4g verson with sd card support

I looked into it just now... Currently there's an issue with Motorola with unlocking the bootloader when on 4.4.4...As people say, the unlock code given my Motorola is showing an error... You can still try it.. maybe it's even fixed by now.. Even if it fails there wouldn't be any harm.. Though the unlocking works fine with 4.4.2... You can revert back to 4.4.2, unlock the bootloader and then update to 4.4.4... The thing will be same as you will lose all data and files when unlocking the bootloader and so in reverting to 4.4.2.....(Remember, only unlocking doesn't mean you won't recieve updates, you won't receive updates only if you flash a custom recovery.)
EDIT - I added it to the OP. Thanks for bringing it to attention.
And does this work for Verizon model

You have Verizon I see. The only you will probably face is unlocking the bootloader.. Oh, wait first let me laugh... lol...OK....At one point of time you couldn't unlock the bootloaders for AT&T and Verizon and then we were blessed by the 'one click root' app by the famous hacker geohot called TowelRoot. This app claims to root all the AT&T and Verizon devices with just a click. You don't even need a PC. Just download the app and in the app chick 'make it rain'. Though this is not guaranteed to work but must give a try as it won't do any harm but there's a chance of bricking the phone but you can easily recover from a soft brick by flashing the stock firmware.
Towelroot - https://towelroot.com/
P.S. - Please reply if you tried this and if it didn't work reply with your android version and kernel version. Well reply with your android version and kernel version anyway.
Edit- I added it to the OP

Yeah they say, if you on 4.4.4 and want to unlock your bootloader you have to flash the motoboot_testdrive.img file wich downgrades the bootloader to i think it was called 40.15 or so after that you have to unlock your bootloader and then flash the motoboot 4.4.4 stock image so that you have the actual one but for me it failed while i try to flash this testdrive image

So basically you want to downgrade the bootloader and then unlock it?
Well if you are on KitKat you can downgrade the bootloader by flashing 4.3 , then unlocking the bootloader and then updating to KitKat

[GUIDE] How to Unlock the Bootloader, Flash a Factory Image, and Return to Stock

This guide will help you unlock your bootloader, flash a factory image, and return you to a stock device. It is wriiten assuming you have a windows PC (MAC users, see post 2). This can be helpful if you need to RMA your device or if you are getting erratic behavior or messed something up.
Tools and Files You’ll Need
If you don’t have adb and fastboot installed on your PC go here for a quick install of the necessary files, thanks to @Snoop05, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
For MAC users go here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32305619
For Linux users, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10746225
For the factory image go here, https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images You’ll download a .tgz file. Use winrar or 7-zip to extract the file to its own directory and remember where that directory is. Inside is another zip file, extract that too. You’ll need those image files if you use the long method to install the factory image. It’s also good to know where they are as they come in handy as you get more familiar with fastboot and what you can do with it.
How To Unlock the Bootloader
If you don’t have developer options enabled on your device go to settings, about device and tap on the build number 7 times.
In settings, developer options enable oem unlock
Now you get to use fastboot! Boot you device into the bootloader, vol up + power with your device shut off. Once booted into the bootloader connect it to your PC with the usb cable and open a command window on your PC. Once connected type the following command in the cmd window:
fastboot devices (Your device serial number should show up and this will ensure fastboot is working properly)
Then type:
fastboot oem unlock (This will unlock the bootloader and you’re now good to go)
NOTE, UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER DOES WIPE YOUR DEVICE SO BACKUP OFF YOUR DEVICE FIRST
How To Flash the Factory Image, SHORT METHOD
Open a command window on your PC in the same directory as you extracted the factory image. In that directory shift, right click in an open area and use “Open a command window here”
Boot your device into the bootloader and connect it to your PC. Then simply double click on the flash-all batch file. Note that there are batch files in there that will work for Windows as well as Linux machines
Let the batch file run and when it’s done you’ll be back to stock.
NOTE THAT FLASHING BY THIS METHOD DOES WIPE YOUR DEVICE SO MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP OFF YOUR DEVICE FIRST.
How To Flash the Factory Image, LONG METHOD
In this method each factory image is flashed separately. This should be used if you have problems with the short method and as you get more familiar with fastboot you’ll be able to flash only the images that you need for your specific requirement. For instance, you might want to only flash the stock recovery if you’re trying to take an ota and you’ve installed a custom recovery. The order that you flash the images is not important.
In the folder you extracted the factory image it’s easiest if you re-name the bootloader image file to simply bootloader and radio. Then open a Windows command window in that folder and use the fastboot commands:
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot –w (NOTE, this command does wipe your device. It’s possible to flash the factory image without this command but if you’re going from different revision numbers of android it’s highly recommend to wipe the device)
Now open a Windows command window in the same folder that you extracted the zip file in, the one where you find recovery, system, etc. Then run the fastboot commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img [Note, flashing system takes a long time, so let it do it's thing]
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Congratulations, you’ve now flashed a factory image and learned how to use fastboot!
For MAC users, proceed each fastboot command with a ./ e.g. ./fastboot flash boot boot.img
This should be made a 'sticky'...
An excellent well written tutorial... succinct, clear and to the point.
Far better to use fastboot instead of a toolkit... Everything is more transparent, and you actually gain a better understanding of your device as a result.

If we get enough guides, tutorials, how to's and other great info threads.... I would suggest a "sticky roll up" thread, so too many stickies aren't created.
Food for thought.

It's possible that you need to update your Android SDK to the latest. There was a recent change (within last 6 months) to fastboot to allow flashing these large .img files.

Is it possible to extract the .img from the volantis-lmy47x-factory-3efdc8d4.tgz from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and flash them individually with TWRP (with the exception of recovery.img, which I guess would over-write TWRP)? Can it this be done directly from 5.0.1 or would I need to first upgrade to 5.02?
Hi, I'm Italian so i'm sorry if my english is bad xD what happens if i flash a different kernel? Will i lose my warranty?
If yes, if i flash the factory image, will i have my warranty again?

And, again, sorry for my bad english

No need top apologize. You're English if fine.
There's a lot of discussion and lack of agreement about what affects the warranty on the Nexus 9. HTC says that even unlocking the bootloader "may void the warranty".
My advice would be to do what you want to it, but make sure you understand what you are doing. Ask a lot of questions before you do something you're unsure of.
Unlock your bootloader (if you haven't already). Do not relock bootloader if something goes wrong (this does not solve anything). With an unlocked bootloader, you can recover from almost any problem.
And you can flash the Google factory images anytime you want to return to stock.
I'm sorry there's not a clear answer to your question.

Bootloader has to be unlocked to root, install custom recovery (TWRP). And note that when you unlock bootloader, it will wipe the contents of your SDcard. If you have anything important there, back it up on your PC.

P 8 lite bootloop on stock firmware

Hello all,
I have Huawei P8 lite bought from Romania. I install the android 6 and I wanted to go back to 5, so I go trough the steps on the official huawei website :
1) download an install rollback package - all went fine, the B500 firmware was shown
2)download an install B132 - on this step the problem appear; after the installation the phone is in a continuous bootloop, it can;t even shut down for good. I hear the start up sound, then if I press the volume keys it's beeping, so somehow is booting but without showing nothing(strange random colors ). The PC is recognizing the phone, but ADB won't .
The phone isn't going in to the recovery mode or update mode.
I search the forum and found methods to unbrick the phone, but only using fastboot. Since my phone isn't rooted , I can't use this method. What can I do?

You don't need to be rooted to use fastboot. However you need to unlock the bootloader in order to use it and don't tell me that your bootloader is locked otherwise it's a bad news.

Now I discovered that if I enter in recovery mode ( Volume down + Power ; still nothing showing on the screen), fastboot is recognizing my device but when I want to write something I get this:

There is a program called Huawei product ID generator. You need Imei,Serial no.(both are on the box) and Product ID (via Huawei product ID generator). Through this you can obtain unlocking code
In Fastboot and rescue mode type this in minimal adb and fastboot
fastboot oem unlock XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Where XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is the unlocking code.

Last question - does the bootloader unlock wipe the user data on the phone? I want somehow to extract it before flashing any ROM over. So my idea was to unlock it, flash some better recovery and make a backup of data partition.
I don't have that option
Maybe it appear when the devices is connected.

Root HTC Bolt

Hey Everyone....So I just have a question about the HTC BOLT and how to root it
So I guess I am little confused as to how do I go about this in terms of rooting it
My phone must be unlocked through the htc dev site correct? If so then I am good with that step, I also have seen many posts on how to root it but I just need one general site or a way on how to do it...Last thing I want to do is screw this up and brick the phone from reading multiple posts...So any information would def help me...Currently I am on Nougat 7.0

you'll need to flash twrp from download mode, then boot into twrp & either flash SuperSU or Magisk v11.1
my preference is now Magisk, as it now has it's own root plus you can install magisk modules (mods or ROM) without breaking /system
Thanks for the information, So i went to the htc dev site to proceed on how to unlock bootload my phone and they mentioned about "fast boot' that is not a option that needs to be selected on my phone while in download mode ...So can i still unlock it with out that "fast boot " option?

you said u were good w/ that step so I didn't mention....fastboot is not an option in the menu, it's a tool...you need to use fastboot command to unlock bootloader & also to flash twrp
install this for fastboot: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Okay so I know the phone must be connected using the command terminals and to simplify this i would:
1- Use fastboot to get the phone unlocked using the code to unlock it then (NOT Choosing to flash a rom at all for my phone)
2- use use maglsk v11.1 or Super Su and follow the instructions while leaving the phone plugged into the PC
3- once done then go to the play store and update magisk manager
4 - Check any rooted apk via the play store to verify if your phone is rooted
If there is something that i am missing please let me know. Much appreciations so far getting me to this point.

after unlocking bootloader, you will need to flash twrp (fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img), the twrp.img needs to be in you sdktools folder on pc, after flashing, then boot into twrp...from download mode, choose reboot to bootloader, then reboot to recovery. once in twrp, you should probably leave /system read only, then copy either supersu or magisk to sd card, and choose install from main menu of twrp....once done, boot device. if using magisk, update from store
u only need to connect to pc when entering fastboot cmds

Look I know you know what your doing I just barley got into rooting my android devices so my question is will this Brick my phone because last time I tried kingroot and it lock everything. I am scared to lose my warranty on my phone and want to know it will work. I had to take my phone to a sprint tech store last time to get it fixed so I was wondering if you could make a video of how to do it. Thanks for your time and effort Sam.

You will lost your warranty anyway, if you open the bootloader via HTCdev.

1st...as far as warranty goes, HTC is pretty good about repair even if you unlock the bootloader. So if you unlock bootloader, then flash TWRP & root, I always recommend restoring to stock before having any warranty work done.
sorry I don't do videos, but I'm always willing to help out...it's really not very difficult, the risk of a brick is very low if u just follow the instructions...if you're just looking for root, here are the basic steps:
1. unlock bootloader via htcdev.com (you'll have to create a account)
-when selecting the device, choose "all other supported models"
-you'll need to install drivers to pc to communicate to phone, see "required resources" to the left of step 1
-you don't need to install SDK but you will need the fastboot binary in step 4
-at step 5 make sure you are communicating w/ the device by using the cmd fastboot devices, it should list your device in the output
-follow the remaining steps to unlock
2. once bootloader is unlocked, boot back into download mode to flash twrp (custom recovery)
-download latest twrp from here: https://dl.twrp.me/aca/ copy the twrp.img to the folder that has the fastboot binary
-use this cmd to flash twrp: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-aca.img
-it flashes pretty quick, then boot to bootloader, then boot to recovery
3. 1st time u boot twrp it will ask if u want to keep /system read only, if u plan to stay stock w/ only root, then keep read only
-I always recommend to make a system & boot image backup just in case
-flash MagiskSU or SuperSU, I prefer Magisk
the Sprint ROM has a lot of bloat, if you're interested, I have a ROM posted that cleans all that junk up along with a lot of useful mods, with a stock look

[TUTORIAL] Unbricking VNS-L21/VNS-L31

Hello everyone! I know there are a lot of threads and comments about unbricking your device but in order to get you on track quicker then anything else and point you to the right direction i`m writing this tutorial which i find is quite successfull. This tutorial was made basically on my personal experience and with the help of some advices and suggestions.
First of all there are some questions that you must ask and answer yourself in order to do everything correct:
1. Do i have unlocked bootloader and frp? If yes, continue reading. If no, read Important note 2!
1.1. Do i have access to stock/custom recovery? If yes then continue to read.
1.2 Do i have problems mounting partitions with Revolution Recovery? If yes, read Important note 1!
3. Do i have installed SDK Platform Tools (ABD and FASTBOOT)? If no then download from here (Always use the latest version!!!)
4. Do i have installed HiSuite? If no then download it from here.
Okey mate if all your answers are Yes then follow Guide 1!
5. If you think your device don`t have access to these then read and follow Guide 2!
For those of you with locked FRP you can check this website and see if it helps!
How to get into fastboot?
Variant 1
Hold down (VOL-) + POWER when connected to PC!
Variant 2
1.Start HiSuite.
Step 2 (Click for image preview)
Step 3 (Click for image preview)
Turn off your phone and then by holding down (VOL-) + POWER connect usb to the pc!
! Important note 1 !
If you can`t mount partitions then the thing you must do is go to Revolution Recovery then do as i say:
Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select partitions one at a time! -> Repair or change file system -> Change file system -> F2FS -> Then go back -> Select EXT4 -> And voila u`re done!
! Important note 2 !
Okay easy way to find out is if you see warning screen about unlocked bootloader then it is unlocked so it is frp. If you go to fastboot and you see Bootloader: unlocked/frp: unlocked but you don`t see the warning screen then my friend u`re not unlocked! Quickly open up the console window connect to fastboot and type:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock <your unlock code here>
Easy, a?
GUIDE 1
First of all download these files in order to continue. (Place them somewhere easy to find! )
Recovery - Revolution Recovery NOUGAT
(I can guarantee you that this version works that`s why i used her in this tutorial! METICULUS was not working for me it doesn`t even started at first place.)
Stock OEM info - Download
Stock ROM - L21C432B130
1. Open up fastboot then flash Revolution Recovery from the zip.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery_twrp.img
2. Start up Revolution Recovery by connecting your device to the PC and holding down (VOL +) + (VOL -) + POWER
3. Flash Stock OEM info from the zip via Revolution Recovery. Make sure when installing it the result was Successfull!!!
4. Remove usb cable from PC and Shutdown the device via Recovery and don`t plug the cable or start the phone!
4. Get your SD Card ready and plugged to the PC then Create a New Folder named "dload" in the root directory of the SD Card and paste update.app file in there!
How it should look in the Micro SD Card: dload -> update.app
5.Place the SD Card in the phone
6. Start the phone!
7. Okay logo is there showing up wait about 1 - 2 minutes and phone will be automatically starting to update from SD Card. When it is done it will restart the phone. Make sure at the moment when it does and screen goes black, hold down VOL UP!
8. Format data and cache!!! If you skip this part there will be a bootloop!
9. Voila. You got your device unbricked and aliveeeeeeee :highfive::highfive::highfive:
That was the easy part! If u`re unlucky enough for Guide 2 well my friend get some coffee and play some calming music list!
GUIDE 2 (When no one can help you but you :silly
First of all you should know that every case is different from one another but everything comes to one mission. Access to fastboot or access to custom recovery in order to unbrick. I will give you steps which I did when I bricked my device and I had no fastboot access, no access to stock or custom recovery, no erecovery access and no wi-fi upgrade.
So what I experienced?
You see logo but only that. Warning screen saying bootloader is unlocked. When you see warning screen u`ve got a choice what to do – Press to enter recovery, press to continue booting etc. None of that. When I was connecting the usb cable to the PC no detection at all. No working key combinations.
1. DRAIN BATTERY! REALLY. IT`S THAT SIMPLE. Leave the device on and put it in a shelf or something like that so you can`t see it and can`t touch it. 2-3-4-5 days. (I left mine for 2 weeks! :laugh The battery must be that empty that when you try to power it up only power icon shows up or nothing shows up at all.
2. When u`ve done with Step 1 get a laptop or a PC with freshly installed Windows or Linux.
3. Install SDK Platform Tools (ABD and FASTBOOT) the newest version from their website!
4. Install HiSuite from their respective website!
5. So now when you`re all done with installing the requisites get your phone in your hands plug the usb cable in the phone and then hold down (VOL -) + POWER when plugging it to the PC or laptop.
6. Believe me. It should get into fastboot. I`m 99% sure. If all the steps I wrote are done correct!
Why should battery be drained at ZERO?
I will tell you the truth – I don`t know. Really. But all I know is that it`s kind of a switch. When something goes wrong draining the battery will clear something that it shouldn’t be there.
If this tutorial helped you then click Thank you so i can count how many good things i`ve done in my life he he! If i didn`t helped you then don`t stop reading until you find the solution! Good luck!
How did you unbricked your device? Tell us here and help others do the same!
Is there a special reason why we should use a Nougat Recovery? I'm on C432B160 and have tried the change filesystem thing with METICULUS Recovery and well... it didn't work
Thank you!

Hello everyone! I know there are lot`s of threads and comments about unbricking your device but in order to get you on track quicker then anything else and point you to the right direction i`m writing this tutorial which i find is quite successfull.
First of all these are the questions that you must ask and answer yourself in order to do everything correct:
1. Do i have unlocked bootloader and frp? If yes, continue reading. If no, read Important note 2!
1.1. Do i have access to stock/custom recovery? If yes then continue!
1.2 Do i have problems mounting partitions with Revolution Recovery? If yes, read Important note 1!
Okey mate if all your answers are Yes then follow Guide 1!
2. If you think your device don`t have access to these then read and follow Guide 2!
Stock OEM info - Download
Stock ROM - L21C432B130
1. Open up fastboot then flash Revolution Recovery from the zip.
How it should look in the SD: SD CARD -> dload -> update.app
5.Place the SD Card in the phone
6. Start the phone!
7. Okay logo is there showing up wait about 1 - 2 minutes and phone will be automatically starting to update from SD Card. When it is done it will restart the phone. Make sure at the moment when it does and screen goes black, hold down VOL UP!
8. Wipe cache!!!
9. Format data!!!
10. Voila. You got your device unbricked and aliveeeeeeee :highfive::highfive::highfive:
That was the easy part! If u`re unlucky enough for Guide 2 well my friend get some coffee!
Guide 2 will come soon because my time is limited!

I have installed LineageOS 14.1 on my device (VNS-L21C432) and I want stock android back, I don't have a dump backup, just a normal one.. Can I use your method to get stock? I have installed TWRP by Meticulous and bootloader unlocked. I really want to came back to stock!!
I appreciate any advice, please help!
Yes i believe so

Is there a special reason why we should use a Nougat Recovery? I'm on C432B160 and have tried the change filesystem thing with METICULUS Recovery and well... it didn't work

Good question! The reason i told everyone to use there version and this custom recovery is because METICULUS is not working at least didn`t for me! It didn`t even started at first place! Nougat is preferable because a lot of people get in trouble when they upgrade to Nougat and then try to downgrade that`s one of the reasons too. So my advice is try Nougat custom recovery for your case! Good Luck and best wishes

Yes of course there will be no trouble at all but instead of METICULUS recovery use the one i posted here! You have access to fastboot and unlocked bootloader so just follow the steps from number 4! If this doesn`t work you can try to flash http://consumer.huawei.com/bg/support/products/downloads/detail/huawei-p9lite-bk.htm?id=93797 this rollback package and via the method with SD Card and then flash stock rom from the link above! :highfive:
Good luck and i`m waiting for the result! :highfive:

Okay. First of all buy a decent Micro SD Card at least 6gb of storage! This is one of the most important things i forgot to tell here. Decent means famous brand like Kingston or Philips or something like that because other then this will fail! After that do you have access to fastboot? If you have fastboot then type "fastboot oem unlock <your unlock code>" If you don`t know it i can help you with that! After that flash the recovery i posted and try to fix the partition by the way i explained above. Then follow the last steps for preparing the SD and flashing the ROM. Good Luck my friend:highfive:

I appreciate the help, but the phone is locked. Phone Locked and FRP lock. I already imagine that at this point I only have a nice paper weight.

Check again i correct it
I´m facing the same poblem. Bootloop with Bootloader locked, FRP locked, battery empty. I can get into fastboot mode but no chance of flashing anything. USB debugging seems to be deactivated. I cant charge the battery because as soon as I connect the phone to a powersource its starts the bootloop. Force flashing via sd card (volume up and down plus power) doesn´t seem to work either (guess due to the low battery).
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
regards
