Hi,
If I uncheck the option to "Link ringtone & notifications volumes" in GravityBox, I get a second "Notifications" volume slider in the volume panel, as you can see on the screenshot.
Do all of you with GravityBox experience the same issue ? Did you find a workaround ?
up
anyone?
I can't believe that no one is using GravityBox
just link the notification and ringtone volumes.
Yeah but I don't want them to be linked... And I don't want a double notifications slider either.
The goal is to have just one notification slider which is not link to the ringer volume.
Dont use gravitybox if you dont want it there
Mine is fine. Version 6.1.1 of gravity box

Did you check or uncheck the option to link volumes ? If it's checked, try to move the Notifications slider, you will see that it influence the ringtone slider as well (the other way around doesn't work).

Without anything running it takes up half screen. I really wouldn't mind if we could at least remove the brightness and volume bars, but stil the font on the date and all notifications are so huge with just 3-4 notifications I have to start scrolling...

If you are rooted you can remove the sliders in the notification bar with this Xposed Module >>
In addition it should be possible to change the font size of the notification bar with the module "App Settings".

Yes, like the other mentioned module, it's a module made for the xposed Framework. Further information here >>
Thanks, will have to wait until I root it, then.

Puhh... my last answer in this thread was one year ago. I don't even have my g2 anymore. I'm sorry, I don't remeber, what I changed, but I guess you could try "System UI". (Don't forget to reboot to see changes).
Hi, I am getting this strange notification sound, every time I get a facebook notification. The sound is not stopping until I open the notification panel.

What can I do?
Disable notification sound under ACCESSIBILITY menu setup.

How to do that ?
Hello,
Is it possible to have the phone ring very loud, while having the notifications for apps very low or only on vibrate? I was able to do that with my Alcatel OneTouch Idol 5.5, but can't find a way to set this with the Moto X Style... Looks like these 2 settings are tied together...
Thanks.
Use. Audio Manager app from play store.

There are 2 apps under that name in the Play Store. Both seem hit or miss, because it looks like the settings change as soon as the volume rocker is hit...

One way is to install Xposed (requires root) and then use the Xposed Gravity Box module. That module allows you to have separate volume sliders for ringtone & notification among many other things like QS tile rearrangement, quick login, etc.

So, no real way to resolve this unless I want to root?
That's the only thing that bugs me with the Pure/Style so far...

This is the app that I use:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.audiowidget
And it works perfectly. I have used it on every android phone of mine. Take a look at attached screenshot:

This works, until you hit the volume buttons cause the YouTube video you play is too loud. Then, the ringer and the notitifications volumes get tied together again. So the app is pretty much useless...
Anyone has a fix for this? I can't believe I'm the only one complaining about that...

I just got this phone been using the LG V10 on Verizon. Running latest build rooted. I never used a launcher before but it looks like I might start.
This phone is nice because of the development but the notifications suck. I already miss the extra screen that is always on with the V10 and no sound issues with it.
Hi,
is there a way to hide the notofication when i use do not disturb?
There is a notification i cannot swipe away... i dont mind the symbol in the upper left corner though... but the notification is annoying.
thanks
Long press on the "Do Not Disturb" icon in the quick settings, then click on "Hide Visual Notifications" and turn it on.

i dont mean any other notifications. i mean the notification of do not disturb itself.
cant swipe it away when its activated.
This
Oh, you probably can only remove that notification with root.
You can hide it by blocking notifications from SystemUI but I doubt it's worth to do so.
Bump
Any updates on hiding the annoying "DND notification" while DND is turned on? I'm now on Samsung Galaxy Note10+
Disabling DND notification work around.
Hey I have found a work around. Using System UI Tuner you can set custom snooze time to the maximum something like 99999. Hope this helps.
Does anyone know how to disable the Automatic Notification Prioritizer on the stock 10.3.1? Its a pita to have to wait for a notification and long press to change it to "Important" from "Other" for every notification type i might receive. I want to receive all of my notification icons in my bar, not the just tiny few google deems worthy.
You find more granular notification controls in Settings->Apps & Notifications.

That was my first place to check. Nothing in there for disabling this that I could find.
