First boot into twrp recovery and flash supersu zip. Then reboot into bootloader and
Use command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" in adb and fastboot tool for permanent flash.

I flashed citrus ROM and I lost twrp recovery
My device is redmi 2 prime hm2014818
Hi.
If you're able to use your device and has root access. Then you can simply install Flashify app from Google Play Store and then flash the TWRP recovery image from there.
If your device isn't rooted, then it's your bad luck..
But anyways, You can flash MIUI fast boot rom using mi flash tool and it will apply MIUI recovery in your device, and after that you can flash TWRP recovery in your device..

I want to root my moto g4 plus(unlocked bootloader and twrp flashed). Anyone knows how to root moto g4 plus. And i also want to know that how to increase battery backup after rooting(is it a myth).
@ADITYA_KUMAR this has been asked and explained many times and once more.
- Take Backup
- get Elemental-X kernel (see development section and download correct one )
- flash with TWRP
- get latest SuperSU : SuperSU
- now you can follow same guide of MM from step 5 : Guide
Don't Forget to Take Backup..

What happens if you select Recovery from Bootloader ? Is it booting in Stock Recovery ?
In TWRP go to Backup and make backup of /system /data /boot.
If anything bad happens while flashing/Rooting then you can restore it.
The first time, you must open TWRP from the bootloader directly or the recovery gets overwritten.
For rooting, you can flash Magisk instead of flashing SuperSu. Other steps remain exactly the same.

Commands used:
Fastboot flash recovery name.img
It gives output as image not signed or corrupt.
After that i typed command fastboot reboot bootloader.
I open recovery mode. It opens twrp. But after i restart my phone. It automatically removes the twrp.

This is your problem. You must open recovery from the bootloader menu the very first time. Or TWRP is overwritten with stock recovery. I don't know why that is. But that is how it is...

Reboot into bootloader.
Flash recovery - fastboot flash recovery twrp-xxx.img
Open recovery from bootloader menu (by using the volume and power buttons)
From there you can reboot and your recovery will work normally after this, most probably.

Try commands,
fastboot oem fb_mode_set
fastboot flash recovery name.img
Fastboot oem fb_mode_clear
Then directly boot into recovery,
Then again boot into recovery through twrp itself (there is option for it in reboot) or try anything.
Thank you guys i successfully rooted my moto g4 plus(xt1643)

What'd you end up doing? Mine is stuck on the TWRP splash screen as well, no matter what version of TWRP I try and fastboot into (fastboot boot, or fastboot flash).
After flashing twrp do not reboot, t tap v+ to recovery
How to install:
Make sure that you have unlocked bootloader of your device
Download TWRP for Xperia Z1
I recommend all you to download the latest version
Flash via Rashr, Flashify, Flashfire, adb or terminal emulator (rooted required)
Via fastboot command:
fastboot flash FOTAKernel twrp_<version>.img
Update from older version: flash via TWRP > Install Image > Recovery partition
Note:
The system-as-root version is used for Android Q rom, don't use it for Android P & below
We can use normal version for Android Q , but it may not work properly with system-as-root in some case
OpenGapps for Android 9.0 & below are not compatible with twrp 3.4.0. In this case, use previous twrp version instead
How to boot into TWRP:
Method 1: turn off the device, press and hold both volume down and power, after the phone vibrate, release all key.
Method 2: (only available on some custom roms), turn off the device and power on or restart it, when LED light turn Pink/Purple (or other colors), press volume up or volume down button for a couple of times until the TWRP is displayed.
Device tree for building TWRP
Flashed via Fastboot on my Z1. No problems at all. Excellent work. Thank you.
I have been using this for a few days and it works good! Nice job!

I too cant update to 3.0.2 or to your updated version for the life of me.
Im on stock 5.1.1, rooted, supersu installed, BL u/l and dual recovery installed (twrp version 2.8.7.0)
Although it displays that the installation (via adb fastboot) is successful, when i reboot into recovery, i still have the old TWRP. Using power+ up-volume gets me into CWM recovery.
Any ideas? Im flumbusted!

after you boot in to recovery immediately flash the twrp zip.
