Help T-Mobile MDA freezed!!!(02/18/2008)

the error is like this...
i used this solution but still no luck...
1. Keep pressing Comm manager and Voice Command button
2. While they are pressed, push in on the soft reset button (reset hole) once
3. Keep holding the Comm Manager and Voice Command buttons until there is a screen asking you if you want to clear all data.
4. To commit, press the green send key.

Possible bad flash/os, enter bootloader mode and reflash carrier rom. T-mobile should be 2.26 I believe.
Then proceed with whatever you were doing.

yes sir jeff its T-mobile 2.26... not 1.8 coz im looking here same problem.. but for real it is 2.26....
yes may be O.S. problem,,, but can u teach me how to flash new OS? step by step?....or what the right tools? or firmware must?...thnx advance

Perhaps you can get all the info in this forum,just search and read through the wizard upgrading forum.Every nick and detail is very explicitly explained here.Its always beneficial to read and fully understand every method before doing it,its for your own good. So plz don't be lame and ask for shortcuts ! secondly,don't post all over the forum,asking for the same question repeatedly.
Anyway !
Download the official T-mobile 2.26 or latest Rom from its website or from many download links mentioned in this forum or from the below link :-

After that,
1.Get your phone into bootloaders mode (tricolor screen) by pressing and keep holding camera button and press the Soft reset button or Power On button,it'll wake up and go into the bootloaders mode (tricolor).
2.Connect the phone to the pc with usb cable,small 'usb' will appear at the bottom of the bootloaders.If its there,
3.Run the Ruu.exe of the T-mobile 2.26 Rom.
4.It'll start to flash and slider will appear on the phones screen and start moving forward,let it finish 100%,do not panic,if the slider stucks at some percentage,wait for sometime,it'll finish and your phone will reboot with the new rom installed.
Then you are good to go,

[HELP]Disable S View Cover Screen

Hi
I have the GT-I9500 and a phone mount (http://www.theairdock.com/) with magnets because its a universal mount. Now because of the magnets the hall sensor gets triggered every time I stick my phone to it. Then the stupid S View Cover Screen (black screen with time/date and status bar) comes on and the phone is unusable. Is there any way to turn to off completly that Screen ?
I am running Stock Android Samsung Rom 4.4.2 with Root and xposed no other system mods.

What I have done/tried so far without any success:
- force stop com.sec.android.sviewcover app and disabled the app with SystemCleanup that makes only a black screen with statusbar comes on (without time and date as before)
- used xposed with MagnetOff but didn't work, I think its outdated
- used xposed with DisableSView.apk but didn't work either, I think its outdated too but no real chance for update -> https://twitter.com/MohammadAG/status/500027358389489665
- found an other post about hall sensor
1. you can turn off S-VIEW in settings - done !
2. replace your magnetic sensor - no sovle for me at the moment !
3. root the device and write-protect the file hall_data in system folder with value "CLOSED" - how ?
Found in sys/devices/virtual/sec/sec_key the file hall_detect it has only two values "OPEN" or "CLOSE" depend on S View Cover Screen off or on. Tried perimissions change to 0000 but didn't help and after a reboot the perimissions are reseted to default.
4. root the device and try to disable S-VIEW - how ?
5. try other non-samsung rom - no sovle for me at the moment !
So could some update or build a new Xposed Module for that ? Is there any other solution like kernel patch or something like that ? Does someone know how to done Step 3 or 4 (from that other post) ? Any Idea?
I am really desperate about that fact that I can't use my phone when I use that holding.
I'm appreciative any help from you guys.

Is there any Developer who could update the "Magnet off" or the "DisableSView.apk" ? I'm still stuck on that stupid S View Screen with my Phone Holder and the CM11 Fork for the GT-I9500 added the same function as well.

me too i have problem with the s view , i have a car phone holder that use magnet to hold my phone , and everytime i put it i get the S view screen , i tried a custom ROM (cyanogenmod) and one version worked and has the s view disabled :

*now i updated cyanogen for a newer version and this feature is gone and the s view is back again.

is it so hard to disable the MAGNET SENSOR ?

Flash any AOSP rom. CM rims have Sview too
If you want to remain stock and avoid the magnet, there is no way as of now

I have P8lite ( ALE-L21 B170) almost 2 month and I am very satisfied . I like to ask 1 question - how get bigger ( full screen ) contact picture . I know that is many apps , but I dont like them . Is is possible to change in system something or something else.
My phone is not rooted and bootloader is locked.

I have galaxy gt-i9500
i update my s4 to the latest rom stock 5.0.1 through the phone and after that return key stop working.
i saw guide that ruin my phone :crying:
i enter to samsung secret code *#2663# and update something that make touch screen not working
this is thee results

"TSP FW update"(internal Storage) Failed
Phone's Touch key FW version :0x12
Part's Touch key FW version: 0x1b
Unfortunatlly after that touch screen stop working at all :crying:
I was looking for a solution in Google, at xda and unfortunately I was not able to solve the problem
to solve the problem of back\return key i know that i need to install german rom stock HOA7
but how to solve the problem of touch screen not working i don't know

a stock rom and a hard reset after should solve this issue, when you flash firmware for phone, touchscreen firmware should be replaced too

i have 2 i9505 and i replaced both phone screens, and after that i update the rom,and now the softkeys dont work.
Thats because the display replacements are not orginal and cant handle with the newest FW
you need do downgrade your phone and buy a new display and then dont upgrade your phone anymore

I replaced the lcd with copy lcd and it working like a charm. the screen that i upgraded his firmware dead i couldn't rescue the screen.
the solution of softkey is to update to germany or russian latest rom

TS10 screen orientation

Hi,
I have TS10 with incorrect orientation (portrait) . I want to fix it to be landcape.
I went through display options but it doesn't have the "forced app orientation" option there.

I have a bluetotth issue that it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting by it self. I complained to the seller then he has provided me with a firmware which name is (TS10.2.2_20220629.144922_THEME1_V2.zip‏) . I get the flipped screen right after the firmware upgrade. and the bluetooth issue wasn't resolved.
