I can't charge my brand new htc 10. I am using the charger that came with the phone and every time I plug it in I get this warning and it keeps beeping. Has anyone else have this problem or any ideas? It's the only usb c I have so I can't try something else.

Power off your device, and hold volume down + power button. Then choose reboot to bootloader, and finally choose reboot to recovery. It should display a red exclamation point. Hole the power button and press volume up and it should go into recovery mode. From there choose wipe cache partition.
Just tried a factory reset. See if that helps.

Sorry to hear that it did not work out for you, I am using an Anker QC 3.0 powerport with a AIVN USB 3.0 C cable and it works really well! Charges my device from 10% to 100% in 50 minutes. The Stock HTC charger is about 1 hour 20 minutes to fully charge.

As much as I love my N7, the battery is absolutely terrible. I charge it up every night and by 9pm its dead with no usage at all. If I use it I can only get 2.5 hours on screen time. I've tried using it without apps, I've reset it, calibrated the battery, everything. I have no idea what to do. Thanks

Hmm looks blurry if looking from mobile app. Works fine on computer browser. Anyways, the screenshot shows battery at like 4 days and 5 hrs. 5 and half hours of screen on time with 7 percent battery left(which will last a good bit still). So either something is wrong with your n7 or maybe custom roms and kernals make that much of a difference.

It may be an app keeping it awake to sync or something. If it's a repeated issue I always look at what was installed that is similar or any changes I've made that are common between both devices

Look at the battery info screens. (Settings > Battery) That should give you some idea what's using so much battery. For most of us, the screen seems to be the main thing. For you, you'll probably see something else.

Recently I've been having this problem with my nexus that the sometimes at random the phone just turns off and the battery drains to 0. Then when I turn it back on the wallpaper is returned to stock and I have to charge it. Also I noticed that when I charge it my phones battery percentage would sometimes jump from 66% to 100% really quickly. I don't know how to fix this and I hope someone does, its a great phone. Many users reported that fully dicharging their Nexus 4 lead to undetected battery and they all were able to make it work again only by removing the back panel and disconnecting the battery.Since It has a Li-Polymer battery full discharge may degrade the battery life further.Better get it to a service centre. Today I requested for replacing the display, solve overheating and battery drain and probably I may get a replacement.
Yeah I probably should. It's gotten a little too out of hand.

I'm experiencing the very same behavior, and noted (during the screen replacement that I was carrying out) that my battery looked a little "stuffed", not completely flat on both sides. The phone was left completely discharged for at least a month, after replacing the screen and plugging it in, I immediately got the red led.
Could this mean that my battery is damaged?
Thanks

I'm unable to view your video. But maybe the flickering is caused by battery. It's amazing that most of the phone's battery nowadays can last very long. My phone is 2.5years and still using the original battery came with it.
My note 1 was flickering for a few days before it dies because of battery.

No. The problem is that when I turn Power saver on, after a while, display starts flickering (to get more bright and normal so constantly). It also happens after a while that I've flashed a new Rom, and also when I use phone a dark place (phone tries to lower the display brightness) and the problem happens again. The problem is more common in a kitkat Rom than in a lollipop Rom. Do you know when a fluorescent lamp is when it's gonna burn is look like? Or it's not placed correctly? Somehow something like that. If you are able to download the file, you can easily notice what the problem is.
Do you know a good website to upload file without registration? I can Upload it again somewhere else.

Seems a bit bad. Did you do a lot on your phone? I did a factory reset for a different reason and my battery life seems really good now. it went about 24 hrs instead of 16 hrs for about the same usage. I"m not a heavy user except for occasion video recording, running the hotspot, or GPS. I don't play games.
This is day 2 of having the phone. Really I've had it about 26 hours. All I've done is some basic browsing and Facebook. Nothing major.

What is that?

My issue is the fact that "Android System" consistently uses more battery power than anything else. Yesterday I checked at about 40% and Android System had used 20% of the battery while the screen had only used 12%.

Sent from my SM-G930V using XDA-Developers mobile app
I wish there a way to see what exact service inside Android System is causing the battery drain.. i'm losing 8-10% overnight with greenify hibernate widget and DND turned on. Seems a bit excessive. GSAM battery monitor will tell you the services that fall under Android system but has no way of seeing which one is causing the issues. This is the first phone i've had where the android system uses up more power than the screen!

Try updating your baseband and check.
Download the latest stock rom from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900P/ and check.
Maybe you are running an old version.
Also try another sim to make sure your hardware is fine.
As I am using it in india.. Will it cause any problem to me

So your network drops only in calls and otherwise its stable as i can understand from your earlier posts right
And if it is only drops in calls then it is software problem
But if your network is unstable then might be its hardware
No bro.. It drops even without I make a call... It just sings it's own tunes.. Falls at regular interval without any reason.. Calls are not audible and signal drops to no service and then again gains signal in ten second s
