Haha, the op did mention the changes are difficult to notice as it's very minimal. I guess it's good for those with great eye sight. To be honest, I do need glasses!

They might work as the bravia engine, x-reality files(not apks) from KK work on lollipop. I only know this due to adding those files to my M2 before Updating them with z5 ones only the apks would give problem's.
Edit: working on my M2 5.1 just fine

If you don't have a back up its going to be hard, but possible
If you have a custom rom zip, extract it, and find the file the mod changes, and put them back with a file Explorer, give the write permission...
Alternatively, I could've made a Zim for you or shared original files but I'm on z3, I don't know if z3 files work on z2

Thanks man. some how I got it back. Extracting system dump from Z2 MM Rom than replace all file in X Display Port Zip with those file I just extract by Winrar, than I flash and somehow it working :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: , I just edit file for everyone to compare, and I got to say it this Xperia X Display Port not working as it should be

Yeah add this lines in build.prop at bottom then reboot phone U will see Improvements When Zoom Picture Quality Very Awesome & in Movies Colors etc..

Flashed it to my XL 4.2.2 .. i really impressed with colour and.sharpness in album but i cant see any difference in movie .. what is wrong ? any idea ? thanks

Great workk! Just 1 question, about the build.prob thing, replace with the new one or just add it? Because if i replace it, effect doesn't work but x-reality appear in setting. If i left both swiqi 2 and 3 in build.prob, effects working but both BE 2 & x-reality appear in setting as well. Using Xperia ZR.

When i install this to my Xgo its run nice but the problem is
the version shown is 27.3.A.0.15 not 27.3.A.1.13
Pls refer my attached pic.
Is the anything wrong?
Edit: My XGO is using 4.1.2 stock rom

Basically this mod would work on any Xperia Lollipop, since Sony mostly unified their Lollipop releases so they have much in common no matter which device you have.

I know it's working, but Lollipop has new standards, you should always try to stick to the standards to ensure you do everything the right way.

note : i found all new update 511 has bootanimation ram leak problem, i don't know if have on 502. so i give you this to fix it.
test on z1 z2 z3
flash it the mod ram can up 300-400m on my z2.

On my z1 5.1.1 i don't see any bootanimation file on system/bin when i extract the zip file that u modded.
why not ? this is a module to funtion bootanimation.

can you boot in recovery?
if you can just flash your rom again.
if you can t get in recovery,you will probably need flashtool.

Try flashing the attached ZIP. This ZIP also sets SELinux labels after flashing. This might solve bootloops for some.
Tested on Xperia Z1 5.1.1, works flawlessly. About 100-150 MB of extra RAM freed.

Didn't work for me though. The same result as what I mentioned. But I got to flashed my rom back so it's ok.
My Z1 in on 5.1.1 Deodexed with a Z5 bootanimation mod installed so I wonder if that causes the problem.

This is an old bug, we RXS talk already about this
But oke if you all get free ram then is it alright but some get bootloop, maybe due an old file but we have 2gb ram (Z2) and 3gb (Z3) and so much we dont get due the Android System usage.
can anyone make a revert to stock zip for this mod?
it does free up memory for me but it also gives me bootloops even if i install the fix zip..
