brother, maybe you need reflash , beacuse i find forgot write permission . i am so sorry.
Thanks bro!
Flashed on my Z1C, working fine.
I can confirm this works on Xperia Z2 .232
Thank you Dev
you guys mean that you have more free ram after flashing this?
This "patch" is only for Z1,Z2,Z3?
Is it worth it to flash on z1?
Hi, I flashed it on my Z1 5.1 and I stuck at bootanimation. I forgot to backup (fool me). Any suggestion?

Just flash this fix -> View attachment 3503361
You have a PM.
Nice found btw.
Try flashing the attached ZIP. This ZIP also sets SELinux labels after flashing. This might solve bootloops for some.
Tested on Xperia Z1 5.1.1, works flawlessly. About 100-150 MB of extra RAM freed.
Just curious, where did you get this "bootanimation" binary?

Didn't work for me though. The same result as what I mentioned. But I got to flashed my rom back so it's ok.
My Z1 in on 5.1.1 Deodexed with a Z5 bootanimation mod installed so I wonder if that causes the problem.
No need to flash this !
Its already fixed in 5.1.1, just google it then you

This is an old bug, we RXS talk already about this
But oke if you all get free ram then is it alright but some get bootloop, maybe due an old file but we have 2gb ram (Z2) and 3gb (Z3) and so much we dont get due the Android System usage.
can anyone make a revert to stock zip for this mod?
it does free up memory for me but it also gives me bootloops even if i install the fix zip..

I haven't noticed anything different in terms of user interface so far. However, that is a new kernel and a new baseband so probably a few under-the-hood fixes from Qualcomm. On initial impressions it seems very fast and responsive (though previous firmware was also fast and responsive so that could just be placebo).
thanks a lot for this. I do prefer the nordic firmware because the signal icon and he data(4G) icon are separated
Just flashed this over the 2nd edition russian 14.4.A.0.108, and I don't see any visible changes to the UI. But for some reason(or maybe the absence of doomkernel and xposed modules) I feel that my phone feels more responsive like what paul5425 stated.
BTW, easyroottool does not work, so no root as of now?

Maybe someone could make a pre-rooted and odexed .zip?
That would be great.
It might fix the exploit used by towelroot
i got it rooted by using .108 kernel and rooting it newroot and then flashing .157 kernel
I will do same as @Pakman123 i read on newroot thread that this is a way to root latest fw

Yes, please. So when I flash the deodex zip the bloatware will be removed? I probably also wouldn't be using the bloatware, but could you name what app you removed? I am a bit new with deodexing, I have tried and failed, so could you also tell me which recovery you used? Have You also tried if Xposed is working? With rooting I will be using newroot as I have understood, since it's not as easy? I know it's a lot of question, but thx in advance..

If you have the proper baseband, Yes you can flash. Otherwise, NO!!
Just want to double check before flashing.
I have 5.0.2 stock D6503, rooted. Bell (locked bootloader)
If I launch into recovery using the Kinguser app (reboots phone into a recovery) ,can I flash this rom safely from there?
I've never flashed or done anything with the basebands. But just in case, how would I double check it is stock?
Thanks in advance!

Not sure if you can do it that way but what i would do is downgrade back to kitkat and root using TowelRoot. Then flash this lollipop pre root using philz recovery.

Hello everyone,
As you know Sony give us a Concept Rom based on Android Marshmallow. It should have been only accessible to 10 000 people, but, Thanks to @Jozinek, @jenkins-84, and @russel5 every possessor of an Xperia Z3 Compact can flash this rom, using Flashtools or using custom recovery.
Among the tons of great things that this rom contains, Sony gives us OTA update. Initially the rom started on version 2058 and everyone could update to 2085 BUT Sony cut, for an unknown reason, the OTA update.
Some people have been able to update their rom BEFORE Sony's update cuting, and this is my request :
Someone having a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact using Sony's Android Concept Marshmallow updated to MRA58K.Z1.2085-somc, rooted or not, with custom kernel or not, please contact me, via this thread, or via PM, so I could try to make an flashable update for everyone stuck to 2053
[NEWS]
Hi there, some people send me, or are uploading their 2085 files. Thanks to them for responding me !
In the next hour I'll be working for the 2085 flashable zip, if all goes well, between today and tomorow, it will be available !

Its allmost same. No notable difference are there. But it is debloated and have more internal memory space and little less ram consumption than stock one.
Awesome and bugs free until now !!
Rom is perfect and there's no bugs for now but we need some thing more important like the system.ui for note or s and separate zip file for changing the traditional lollipop bootlogo
Are you going to do any of them??
