So as some of you may have read I have made a purchase with Gizok a while back without receiving a product. It's been nearly two months since (in this time I order one off eBay and received it) and they have done nothing but stalled. I have lost nearly $650 due to their terrible customer support. The reason I post this is to spread the word that the store is not safe to purchase from. Some of you may claim to have made successful purchases but if a problem would arise I will ensure you that you will NOT receive a resolution. I am linking this thread to their customer support and would appreciate if you guys could show your support in hopes they honor the promised replacement by giving a damn.
According to the law, I am allowed to show transcripts of calls and emails as long as long I protect the privacy of the rep and both parties are aware of the recording. I have call recording with DHL proving I contacted them along with emails but Gizok claim I have not done so. They also claimed to open a claim with DHL which will only return $83 according to DHL.

Until that point I was calling DHL but they kept telling me they didn't receive a "complaint" which according to the rep isn't required to open claim which was available to them since March. I will not release cal recordings unless I am forced to but here's an email with DHL:

According to the tracking number the item has arrived in Tampa and was signed by ???? (no-one). That is more an DHL issue and not an Gizok. The case would be different if you would have received the package and it would be empty, then it would be an Gizok issue not an DHL. Claims with DHL can be done by the sender or receiver, better is if both do it.
Did you check the Signature Proof of Delivery?

I've checked and I am also aware it was supposedly delivered. Here's why it's DHL's fault and Gizok's. Gizok was given the chance since March to open a claim which is something only the seller could do for international DHL shipments, at least that's what all 5 reps I've spoken to have told me. I had traced the package as soon as I noticed that it wasn't delivered and according to DHL there couldn't be anything to determine where it ended up so it's up to the seller to claim it. The issue here is Gizok is giving me the same generic response without resolving it. For weeks I was told to contact DHL and each time I did. Yet they keep claiming I haven't so they aren't able to claim it BUT they don't need me to report the package as lost to DHL to claim it. Even if it was true I was told the package of the value is $83, which is nothing compared to what was paid. Gizok reps are obviously stalling with no intention on keeping their promises, a characteristic that I don't think anyone would like if a problem arises.
Will avoid like the plague for any future purchases. Thanks for the info and the warning.

I think you will find that they do not take any money until the phone has been despatched. The price is still not fixed! Thats how Handtec operate so im sure the rest are the same. In anycase, handtec stated first shipment due week commencing 4th October - which does not imply the 4th october.
From what i understand, HTC are shipping but to mobile phone networks first.

I've pre ordered mine form Amazon and they don't take any money until its shipped. If you have fallen for another retailers tricks then that's really your problem. Play.com are also listing the 11th (they also dont take the money until they ship).
As for your garbage about supplying in 14 days - they cant supply if they don't have the product. YES if you ordered a Desire and it didn't arrive then you may have a point has the product is on the market - the HD and the Z are PRE ORDERS!!!! I've use Amazon for years and i trust them - i ain't trusting no company that "Claims" they will have it early

Not me. Unlike you, I can read and through experience of living on the bleeding edge of gadgetry, I realise that release dates are never to be banked on.
Show me a link to an "official" HTC press statement claiming the HTC Desire HD would be released on October 6th. Or the 11th. Please - find me one. NOT a review/blog/ethusiast/seller website "claiming" it will be released on October 6th/11th. Show me the "HTC published link" that claims the phone will be released on October 6th.

Handtec took my money as well when I ordered it a week or two ago, however I'm unsure if that has something to do with it being an international order or not. Same has been said from other Australian customers on a different forum I'm on however.
I don't care...the exchange rates been good for us of later and it means I know what I'm paying rather than wondering or stressing about the exchange rate each day.

Yup, dates kept changing on main site for me (looking at expansys.co.uk). Received mail confirming shipping on Tuesday 3rd of May, so I guess this is happening.
Well they said 3rd May confirmed,, lets see
total preorders by 28th April 2011= 281
stock expected= 500
Warehouse in Uk and France, Mine will be shipped from UK where as on 2nd they will have stock in France and they will ship it on 3rd.

I Called DHL and they said that following are new requirements for Dubai Custom
1. shipment Product's "Country of Origin".
2. Sender should Mention on invoice, its for "Personal use"
3. HS Code (Harmonized System Code) of the products.
Please note that without above details, shipment will not be cleared by Dubai customs, so please make sure its mentioned.
I suggest different people should find out any such particular requirements for your Custom authorities.

Friend of mine did the same back with his HD2 with the result that with Amazon then he had to wait 6 weeks since all preorders were worked down by Amazon and he was last on the list .................
Just spoke to someone from Expansys UK and they said they have it in stock and is expecting to ship it tomorrow.
Someone call expansys uk and see if they are being truthful

I have recently purchased an MX5 from them, wasn't able to get a response from them for a week, only today, have successfully contacted them, saying that it is stuck in China customs due to it being National day golden week holiday which is true and will take another 10 - 13 days for me to be able to track my order as it needs to reach the Netherlands. How long did your phone take?

My order came in and is in no way a fake site, the order did take a while but it got here so don't worry about it being fake. Especially as you paid with Paypal you should have no problems.

That's no problem at all! It is difficult. I got very worried when I emailed them, never got a response and their 24/7 customer support was hardly ever on and decided to look it up, with a lot claiming it was fake. As stated, I have received it and it's one of the best phones I've had and well worth the money!

The phone took about 3 - 4 weeks and once the package reaches the netherlands from there it can be tracked but that in it's self can take a week or 2 to get to the netherlands. The quality and condition are exactly as you'd get in a store, new condition. Meizusale.com communication isn't too fantastic which is what worried me, but the phone did arrive and is well worth the money!

Took some time definitely as I too opted for the free shipping and it eventually got held at customs but other than that the seller is OK. Certainly dont expect swift responses from them, but they deliver.
As far as the Meizu MX5 itself is concerned, I guess I was one of the unlucky ones who got a buggy phone, as after the 2nd month of usage it started randomly to shutdown once the battery drops below 50%... and nothing seems to fix it (restoring, flashing different firmware etc)
So do have this in mind when purchasing

First impressions
LOVING THE DEVICE SO FAR! It's so snug and utterly joyous to hold. I can reach all over the screen with 1 hand. The build is just astonishing, I took it out of the case and just kept staring at it for like 10 mins.
BATTERY: Definitely will get over 5 hours of screen on time today, from the 1st overnight charge!! Chuffed to bits
This device manages battery a lot more than I thought it would. I was just using it as normal today and the battery performance was impressive.

Well, I just placed my order ten minutes ago. Hope you have done the same
me me me me! Though the order status says "Pending Shipment"...might be this way for a week now
I ran into an error message during the order process -
Funny enough, when I looked into my account my invite was claimed anyway and I had an order for two X with "pending payment" in "My Orders". Payed them both, so I guess I can look for someone in Germany to split the astronomical shipment costs with now
This will replace my OPO. At least until I can get my hands on a 5X at a price that is somewhere near to what it costs in the US.

I'm in India. And it's only available from Amazon here. After placing the order it shows the estimated delivery date. Mine was 10-12 Nov.

I guess it really depends where the phones are being send from, in terms of how fast we'll receive it.
A/some French store(s) was selling the phone since Monday or so, so I doubt all of our phones will be shipped from China.
At least I hope not.

Yeah that and where the accessories are coming from too, which is a different locations. I think OP has been storing phones in EU for shipment straight from London or France.
Me!! Pending Shipment now. Disappointed postage wasn't free, thought £9.99 was a little steep.
I was one of the lucky few who got their S8 early and was able to snag one of the very few $99 full immersive bundles. Had it confirmed last Thursday and haven't heard anything since. I would call Samsung and ask but I don't really have 4 hours to sit around on hold just to ask a question.
Has anyone received their stuff yet? I've only seen one comment of someone getting the shipment email.
Mine shipped yesterday supposed to have it FedEx end of day tomorrow account to the tracking number. I didn't get the immersive bundle though.

I still haven't gotten a shipping number for mine. I'm really impatient with this. I check the progress everyday and it just stays the same
I just received the shipping confirmation email from Samsung. I ordered on 4/19 with the Shop Samsung App and it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Just because, I put 10 of the Immersive bundles in my cart to see what would happen.

I actually just got my shipping confirmation with tracking number like an hour ago. Should be delivered Thursday.

That I did. I bought 1 Galaxy S8 and the Shop Samsung App let me + the quantity of the Immersive bundle Promo until I stopped at 10. Cost me $1,056 after tax. I wasn't expecting it to allow me to proceed with the order. Must have been an oversight by Samsung.
