According to Lionel Menchaca @ Dell, they don't have plans to release it in ATT stores at launch. What you are probably thinking is the public release. That just means without a pre-sale code you can buy the phone tomorrow on Dell.com.

My shipment has been updated from 8/16 to 8/14. Already shipped !!!!

Mine just flipped over to 8/14 also. That is what I get for checking every hour.

two nights ago i dipped my htc magic into a lake for about 30 seconds, by the time i got it pulled out, the screen had white lines and gibberish on it. figuring it was totally dead I searched quickly and decided on the dell streak as my upgrade. I saw that dell would be releasing the presale the next day, but I opted to get mine from ebay (shipped from GB) as I can get one BNIB, unlocked and unbranded. shipped via fedex priority international, it should arrive at my doorstep monday morning/afternoon. On another note, after strapping my magic to an oscilatting room fan for 24 hours, its powered up and ALL features appear to be working! definatly a thumbs up for the magic's waterproofness

What a big let down by htc brand,I was sell my iPhone 3GS to go for new desire HD ,And now they realise day can even 16.10.2010!hm? More than a week without any smartphone!on the handtec website on sunday they was information ship on week commercing 4th then I was think I will give a try new phone desire HD cos was very unsure what to choice iphone4 or new baby of htc,I decided to go for htc,and now not sure when I will have new phone week commercing 11th or maybe even later this month big let down for me,cos I was paying for something what I don't even exactly know when I will get it

HTC behave similar to MS Xbox 360. I dunno why HTC can't do better.

Sites have been listing 11th October since the announcement, I don't see the big deal here. Any sites listing for earlier dates were simply wrong weren't they, unless we get any dates past the 11th.

Guyz, very obvious that the release date will be late and please, read the asterisk for conditions applied: The release date can be changed without notification... So don't blame anyone... HTC only said they will release it by October, which means any date in Oct will still be within the time frame they set... isn't it?

How very rude are you! What you know about English market? If they take it pre order and money from your accunt they must supply you in 14 days with the product! If they don't they broken sales agreement and full amount must be refund?

I think you will find that they do not take any money until the phone has been despatched. The price is still not fixed! Thats how Handtec operate so im sure the rest are the same. In anycase, handtec stated first shipment due week commencing 4th October - which does not imply the 4th october.
From what i understand, HTC are shipping but to mobile phone networks first.

Its really not a big deal, it arrives when it arrives. Christ you sound like a child of 8 that has been told Christmas is cancelled. Cool your jets sparky its only a phone. Believe it or not you still be alive, its not going to kill you waiting a few days.
I've pre ordered mine form Amazon and they don't take any money until its shipped. If you have fallen for another retailers tricks then that's really your problem. Play.com are also listing the 11th (they also dont take the money until they ship).
As for your garbage about supplying in 14 days - they cant supply if they don't have the product. YES if you ordered a Desire and it didn't arrive then you may have a point has the product is on the market - the HD and the Z are PRE ORDERS!!!! I've use Amazon for years and i trust them - i ain't trusting no company that "Claims" they will have it early

Not me. Unlike you, I can read and through experience of living on the bleeding edge of gadgetry, I realise that release dates are never to be banked on.
Show me a link to an "official" HTC press statement claiming the HTC Desire HD would be released on October 6th. Or the 11th. Please - find me one. NOT a review/blog/ethusiast/seller website "claiming" it will be released on October 6th/11th. Show me the "HTC published link" that claims the phone will be released on October 6th.

Handtec took my money as well when I ordered it a week or two ago, however I'm unsure if that has something to do with it being an international order or not. Same has been said from other Australian customers on a different forum I'm on however.
I don't care...the exchange rates been good for us of later and it means I know what I'm paying rather than wondering or stressing about the exchange rate each day.

I think it is sold out in the UK now. Amazon UK don't seem to have received any stock as far as I can see despite taking my order on the 9th when they promised availability on the 18th. Now they say July. Another Honeycomb tablet I wanted to buy and no one wanted to sell to me. Maybe whenever HTC come out with a larger tablet they will let someone sell me one. Failing that I'll get the iPad 3.

Man people just can't spend 5 minutes researching on their own.

The keyboard bundle is not available yet, but it can be bought separately direct from Asus.
Ebuyer had 40+ in stock earlier this week, but have sold out now. If you want one, you need to be quick because the stock doesn't last long.

And everywhere else, the release date is 1 June - so you can only pre-order :-(
Although Overclockers has the bundle on with ETA 16th May.
I checked on Asus UK to see if you could buy the dock separately direct from them but it just redirects you to the resellers...

You could order the dock from Asus directly for £50 but that was only if you ordered or bought the tablet before the 22nd I think it was. You wouldn't get that deal if you bought one now.
I feel bad for all the people who preordered and have been screwed around, I just walked into a comet store and bought mine..

The bundle with the keyboard hasn't been released yet, so technically it can't have sold out because it's never been sold except as a preorder.

As said above about the keyboard never being stocked but according to both Asus UK's facebook and twitter it'll be with stores end of next week or beginning of wc 9th depending on internal retailer distribution times. I'll be popping over to comet and curry's next weekend and see if they know anything about the expected delivery.

I believe the 8th is when the global services for the watch are opened so owning one before then won't get you very far anyway.

I also did a preorder here on Vodafone spain d855 gold one with lg smartwatch and the lg g3 case for free only 300 units

He wasn't going to budge, so i walked.

he assures me he has....don't believe him though.
This was the Cannon Street store, and I have also had the same reply from the Holborn store. Canterbury say they will do it, but I can't get there for another week or so.
I phoned 3 myself and they were useless, because I upgraded in store, they tell me they are unable to provide any clarification.

This "promotion" is a joke. I mean, at NO point when i was upgrading did they say that I had to pre-order both at the same time.
Did you have to pay any fee for the remainder of your contract?
This is from the Three website:

My contract is only 7 days old! They just said return the phone then.
So I then rang again to the online team and they confirmed and apologized that the other staff haven't got a clue what they are talking about. She told me to go in-store from the with with my receipt to claim my watch

well good luck with that. I tried this also, but he was adamant, even with a receipt and proof of what their website he wasnt doing it.

Ive had this problem went in this morning and refused to accept that this offer exists at all which was rather annoying tbh so i told them to ram it ill buy one online.
They also said that this offer was onky for pre orders and that everyone should of known about it at no point has 3 in my town ever advertised this offer or mentioned it when i got my phone ended up having a huge argument with the store manager telling him is useless and a joke then i showed him my tweets from here that i posted between my self and Brendan and he still refused to acknowledge the offer so i gave up.

I just spoke with "Sharon" at three on the phone. She confirmed that the watch should have been pre-ordered at the time i got the phone.
But, she has applied the £70 difference to my account so i can buy the phone at the full price and be no worse off.
My advice, speak with three, tell them whats happened and they should sort it out.
Good luck, took me a 30 minute phone call to get the resolution i deserved!

I have a Metawatch (strata and frame) that i daily use and a Weloop Tommy smartwatch (that one is just for fun).
I like the hack ability of the weloop Tommy but it's battery is not good (never been) it's empty after 2 days .
I found in the "Weloop Tommy" threat someone mentioning the SMA-Q smartwatch.
I don't now the SMA "brand" but it looks like a nice smartwatch.

I have taken the plunge to order one (it's only 55 dollars) , if it shows up (i think it's in pre-sale now) i'm gonna write a review here (in my broken English). I don't think much of it but i think it's a nice tinkering device and it does have a color display so.
Does someone knows the SMA smartwatch company? They seem to have made another watch that uses analog time and leds to show you information on your wrist. But i can't find much (english info) about them.

I also decided to risk this. Bought the Tommy when that came out and it turned out to be great.
Interested to test this thing out, no idea about the brand but looks like a pretty good upgrade to the Tommy.. Will try and compare to my mates Pebble Time too.
Sending back my faulty GWatch and this could be a bargain replacement!

The Geerbest cancel preorders and refund money. The new ship day: Nov 22

the first batch of preorders is due to be shipping soon as they confirmed the order and charged money.

My preorder was canceled. Also many others preorders was canceled the reason is not received money.

Yes, I received email at Nov, 2 but order was canceled at Nov 16

I made the payment through PayPal, on Sunday November 15, at Gearbest. the entire payment confirmed (status Processing). Until now I did not get any information about cancellation of the order.
On sma watch google+ there is a information about sale "SMA watch Q will ready and be on sale in 15th Nov."

I put a ticket on shipping the watch.
