Searching for GPS , Forever after 4.4.2

Dear All ,
After updating my note 3 to kitkat ,The GPS is not able to find a fix no matter what i do! same goes for another note 3 at home when tested!
searching Google only shows topics about an AT&T GPS issue. My phone,And the other phone are international versions bought in the middle east!
Your help is much appreciated.

I`am on stock atm and i have a lock in 3-5 seconds, i suggest reflashing the rom and do a data factory reset afterwards.

this is exactly what is happening to me too. At the begin i thought that it was caused by cyanognemod but then ireflashed stock ND3 through odin but gps still no view satellites (gps test shows always 0 satellites in view). Could be a baseband problem?
UPDATE: reading around seems that the latest ND3 and ND5 introduced this bug

Service center changed the whole motherboard... They didn't say anything about knox 0x1

Hey all
I just downloaded the latest stock firmware I9301IXCUANJ4 and after installation my stock camera app wasn't starting and gave me message "Camera server Error" So in reflashed firmware again and after that same problem occured so i contacted samsung and the already had reports of the bug and they are pulling it back for my region (the Netherlands )
So if any1 want the latest firmware go for the italion version that one is solid and has some battery drain improvement

How can i instal him? With kies or odin?

i installed it with odin

Im from italy dont know but i get some update on the phone 15mb size. I just accept and my phone go of and start to load some instalation after instalation someting about 110 application and then done my phone was one. This is the update or i need to instali with odin?

Hello, please do not say the latest version, because the last version has the camera bug as well.
The last confirmed working version is I9301IXXUANI1_I9301IITVANJ1_I9301IXXUANI2_HOME
I had just downgraded back from installing I9301IXCUANJ6, from the italian region. Hopefully it will avoid useless data wipes for other people :good:

yesterday i have flashed new firmware and got camera not work i have lanched odine and chek nand errase if uncheked and flashed downgrade old firmware and now camera are work but i have loste all my old setting and apps because errase del all your previous phone and install system from 0 test and you see

Flashed with Nand erased disables, is that ok right?
I purchased my phone on spain, but its from ITA, im gonna test the last rom stock for this region, is the last thing left to prove

Hi Spark,
as some other users I have my problems with the Camera Bug. I flashed four in this forum recommended ROMs with wiping each time Cache, System and Internal Storage , and activated Nand Erase before flashing with Odin. But each time the error message appears again.
That somehow drives me crazy. Idon't know wht to do else. Any Idea?

cause they say this is the best firmware version with the lowest battery usage

New Phone (for mum ) and I thought lets flash new FW for Germany DBT for it... What the f**k! Camera stop working with this well known Server issue!
Its an GT-I9301I for European Region. Bought in Germany.

when you bought the phone had the version XXUAN ... but if flashi firmware XCUAN .... the camera will not work and will fail. If you would like to solve the problem you have to flash the firmware again that had your phone when it was bought

that's right. we've got 2 versions with 2 cameras. xc camera and xx camera. this is not a bug. people just flash the appropriate rom for each. don't mix.

Maybe because OTA will flash updates for the current installed firmware. For example if you have got a XCUAN firmware OTA will fash the updated version for XCUAN. if you have got a XXUAN firmware OTA will fash the updated version for XXUAN. if the camera won't work after the update you have to install the correct update manually. You can find firmwares on SAMMOBILE

How to Install
As far as this firmware’s compatibility is concerned, you can install it over a wide range of builds that carry C900 market number.
Download “PE-TL10_C900B334_Firmware….05012WEU.zip” from the aforementioned link and extract it.
Copy the extracted ‘dload’ folder to the top directory level of your phone’s external microSD card.
Disconnect the USB cable and open Updater app.
Tap menu > Local Update. Choose the full Update.app package and flash it.
Alternatively, simply reboot the device while holding Vol up + Vol down + Power simultaneously after the copying ‘dload’.

All Problem Solved
i have just finished updating now to this rom and as far as i check all problem in previous lolliopop rom are solved now (DT2W, choose which sim work as 3G or 4G, Gloves mode and all motion options are back) now i can enjoy lollipop till android M :laugh::laugh::laugh:

P.S the parentheses it says Android 5.1.1 ,I do not know if you can flash it on 4.4.2.

First, thanks tremendously guys for all this hard work you do for us so we can have the latest and greatest Android system.
Okay, so on to my issue. Last night I flashed cm-14.1-20161204-UNOFFICIAL-treltexx over my N910CXXS2DQB3_N910COLB2DPE3_THL sammobile stock, and as so many have posted, it looks quite nice, but the No SIM error is too big of an issue to use on my only device. This, of course, put me into many hours researching if there has been a fix to which I have found nothing definitive. As a decades-long user of XDA I came across this post showing trltetmo.zip (T-Mobile) Snapdragon, and the treltexx (Exynos) version by jef_00. Following the posted instructions to the letter, TWRP continues to return the error "this device is treltexx but the ROM is treltexx,tredl" and stops dead with error 1. As I live in Asia, we only get the Exynos Octa-core mobiles here, so every ROM update/change I've made represents the difference between the Americas and pretty much the rest of the world, so I know the correct Exynos ROM was used last night, and it pretty much ran for many hours giving only the No SIM issue. It did turn to molasses trying to get anything to do something, but I figured I'd work that part out in time.
So now I'm using ODIN to put sammobile's latest stock release N910CXXU2DQC2_N910COLB2DPE3_N910CXXU1DPE3_HOME.tar, then root it with TWRP as I've done for many years and will try jef_00's latest release lineage-14.1-20170507-UNOFFICIAL-trltexx in hopes it will recognize the Exynos version once again. If it does, I'll then use the Bootloader/Modem combo Bootloader+Modem_N910CXXS2DQA1_6.0.1 to see if it will recognize my SIM card and allow me to use my mobile phone again.
Have any of you noticed either your Snapdragon or Exynos recognizing the ROMs incorrectly? Additionally, did/does this Bootloader/Modem combo fix the SIM issue?

I connect my phone to my car (Peugeot 208) via Bluetooth. My car doesn't display titles of song from Deezer or YouTube anymore.
It display just the name of the phone.
Does anyone have the same issue ? (streaming is working)

Flash gapps and the latest W8 bootloader and modem in my signature, for best signal stability. You can change trltetmo to trltecan in the build.prop if you want your apps to think your phone is in fact the W8 not the T, but it's hardly important.

They are a custom aroma gapps package for the Note 4 because the Open GApps aroma package doesn't work. Are you using hsbadr's lineage on your N910V? The latest build is kinda old which is why you may be having problems with 4G.

Any chance of getting official build version?

Issues with battery life
Hi! First of all, thanks to all developers, this wouldn't be possible without you, I've been using this rom quite a while, and it's amazing, just a few questions, the battery optimization isn't as great as I wish it would be, is there any kernel to increase battery life? I'm trying to update my modem (as recommended by ripee), but my baseband is n910w8vlu1dpe2. I did find a file for n910w8vlu1dpi2, but no 'PE2.
It's a SM-N910W8 from Rogers in Canada.
What modem firmware should I use?

Flashed 20170226 trtlevzw and it wont recognize my SIM card. Then tried Resurrection Remix and same thing, shows no SIM card. Cant find any solutions anywhere and need some guidance.

Flash this in TWRP either before or after flashing the rom zip, it doesn't matter: WipeTelephonyProviderData.zip

I don't ask for ETAs and my intention is not to force any release but will officiall lineage OS for the Note 4 will come in general some day?

SM-N910CQ Sensors Not Working

Hello everyone, i'm using latest stock rom on my phone for N910CQ, but my sensors(Prox, light, gyro etc.) are not working except fingerprint. But whenever i flash stock rom it's all working for sometime and then it happens again. So it's not hardware fault. I used nothing but stock apps for couple days to check if certain app causing this but it happend again with stock apps too. I currently don't have bugdet to buy new phone and also i like my note 4. I can try other customs roms if it's going to work but never had experience with flashing them.

From what I can tell there is no way to reprogram the sensorhub (broadcom bcm4773), so a repair shop may be able to figure out what's wrong
