They should if our model is mentioned it in the title. I have not tried the newest one. I will this weekend though.

i will look whether to buy s7 and sell my note 4 or not when it gets a cm build

I have been using King and Renovate for the last 2 weeks on my G930F and both are good. At the moment though I am preferring the King Rom and haven't encountered any bugs on it yet.

Have u tried the superman rom?? And is king rom fast and battery good??

I didn't try the Superman Rom but i'm sure its pretty good.
With Renovate I liked the frequency of updates coupled with being able to use SVN for updates, with King it had a feature that I was looking for direct on the Rom with a traffic meter. With regards to battery life both so far were pretty good, going on feel (no science) it feels like King is zippier with a slightly with less battery life compared to Renovate but both have been good to me on that front. This is just from my personal experience and will of course differ on other phone/setups/background apps etc.

Spent 20 minutes browsing on Chrome
Used Google Maps for navigation for 30 minutes
Made 10-15 min worth of calls
Sent some whatsapp and text messages

Compatibles ?
All Rom's of G935F are compatibles with the G930F ?
I plan on buying a G930F
Cordially.

All rom of S7 edge G935 you have tested works well with your S7 G930 , even if there is not mentioned in S7 G930?

Yes they are working well on the G930F, the edge roms that I have used tend to have an option in aroma for an edge or flat (G930F) install. I am still happily on the king 4.2 rom on my G930F.

S5 Sport rooting?

Hi!
I did a quick search, didn't see much. I ordered the S5 Sport edition from Sprint and it arrives Monday. However, I've been very interested in the M8 HK edition, mainly for the earbuds. I'm actually thinking about keeping the S5 Sport but because it's so new I can't really find much on it on the scene!
After reading a lot of reviews, both phones appear equal - I'm leaning towards the S5 Sport for the physical buttons but I just want to see if I can install custom ROMs on it (maybe regular S5 ones?) .. either now or in the near future. The other stuff is there just in case someone wants to comment on their personal experience with it. Also, below you can ignore, but I'm listing out the comparisons I made briefly while typing this out in case anyone wants to comment on something with their personal experience.
Is there anything in development for the Sport? Is it even that popular of a phone yet? I love to customize and I'm interested in actually using the bloatware it comes with, but if it turns out it's a battery drain and/or I don't use it, I'd want to put on a clean slate ROM.
I love the water resistant certification. I can use it with wet hands and not feel like I'm potentially murdering it.
I love the physical buttons (which is why I ordered the Sport) because I hate the S3's (phone I currently have) capacitative buttons. The M8 has buttons on screen which I hate even more but I would be able to deal with it.
I do take a lot of random pictures and I'm loving the 16 megapixel camera. I've read that the M8 camera is not awful though and the ability to refocus is great.
I heard the S5 can be laggy. The M8 seems to have a better optimization.
The sport is the same as the s5 active ...its just sprint naming of the phone ...

Does this mean I can use the the same custom ROMs? I figured it'd be different because it's a different carrier (Sprint)
U wouldn't b able to use the roms from att or t-mobile active but the root method would be the same I believe since it's same hardware just different radio bands enabled and disabled

Man, all I want to do is root it.. =\
UPDATE:
I don't regret my purchase. The S5 Sport is EXTREMELY BLOATED! I wanted it for the physical buttons .. it was very painful to sure until the root came out. I downloaded an app to remove the majority of the bloat and now my phone is excellent. Slightly quicker and less annoying popups (and my apps are less crowded). Threw on Nova Launcher Prime and it is good to go.

Galaxy Note 5 + Galaxy S6 Edge+ Hybrid

The Galaxy Note 4 for T-Mobile has yet to receive a hybrid port of the S6 Edge+ and the Note 5. I am willing to work with any developer to help bring this port similar to Sac23 Note 5 Ported V2 .1 10/2.
Are the chances of this being possible zero because of processor differences?

There is also a port for the N910F on other forum
but the lollipop international data fix does not work on 5.1.1.
Sac23 rom t-mobile port ran so smooth but the mobile data
issue was a killer. I flash that rom more than 10 times.
Still wish for a stable data fix.

I was recently farting around with the Sac 23 Rom for T-Mobile. I have the SM-N910W8 (Updated to 5.1.1) variant and have found a way to get data to work. With all the correct APN settings for telus of which i am with i will not get data unless i try to make a phone call. After which i will get full LTE 4G. Oddly enough however if i switch to wifi i will lose data when switching it off and will have to make another call to my voicemail in order for 4G to work again( Must be a bug). I dont know if youve ever tried this but it seems to work for me and i dont loose data until i toggle wifi. Also note i did not flash the data fix. I wanted to post this in the development thread however wasnt able to. Hope this can help some people like me who love the updated features and hard work that devs put into these roms!

Read on the sprint Note 5 port thread that they had a similar issue with the bluetooth pairing screen
not showing up and they fixed it changing the dpi.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63015035&postcount=224
May be worth a shot.

On the Note 5 port thread, they say that changing the dpi from 560 to 640 solves the issue of the Bluetooth pin screen. Other user confirms the find. https://goo.gl/photos/HDiqeRChSFHDdHjz7
Sadly looks like will not work for the S6 t-mobile port.
Already flashed the ROM and the dpi on the build.prop is already 640, so really don't know what else to try.
You guys could rather just flash a ported note 5 rom from international forum.

Do you think this can work on Sac23's port for the Note 5?
By the way, did anyone try Kyubi's Note 5 port? I tried it out with the INTL Data fix for the N910T and it was an alright experience. No where near compared as smooth as Sac23's port of the Note 5. It was a little laggy for me. I haven't tried out Dr. Ketan's port of the Note 5 / S6 Edge port. Apparently there's a newer version being released and it seems like the installation process isn't as straight forward as just flashing the ROM.

Not sure man, the data fix is for the international ports from Note 4 Snapdragon variants that are GSM/WCDMA/LTE
like our own.
On sac23's port there is the sprint CDMA wild card messing up data.
Running the light debloated version of kyubi's ROM
by Battlehero.
Agree on sac23's port being smoother but just for a little.
Going to try kyubi's ROM version 2 update.

Root and GearVR

In all my searching I have never found anything positive about using the Gear VR with Root.
Some people have gotten lucky and have it work. Mostly using the stock modified Kernel but I can't be sure that this will work with my Model. G928F as it states that it is designed for other models.
Is anyone happily using their european Gear VR with root? If so what is your setup?
Thank you.

Hi,

With the modified kernel it works great!
So yes. i'm verry happy with the Gear VR.
Using Audax Rom with the Stock modified kernel.
t-mobile stock modified works fine.
Thank you everyone. I am sure you can understand my hesitation. with it being labelled T-Mobile. If anyone else has had good experiences with this or other kernels/ROMs please let us know. The more feedback the better.

i found that for me Stock modiefied Kernel and Orgia rom works best. i have G928F. and everything works just fine, no worries about the kernel. it will work.
i also heard and read that skyhigh kernel is reported working. but it was not for me.
i know that you should stay as much stock as possible with rom an kernel from what i read.

The S7 Edge is my first Android device I haven't rooted. There are a couple of root only apps I miss but I'm really happy with it the way it is. There is a root method here on xda. Just search for it.

questions from a Note 7 refugee

I just exchanged my incendiary AT&T Note 7 for an S7 Edge, which is also a decent phone. I'm wondering if there's a way (without rooting) to reproduce any of the following software features that I got used to on the Note 7:
Secure Folder (instead of Private Mode)
New organization/presentation of the phone's Settings
Optimization page in Settings
Custom image for always-on display
Any advice appreciated.
As of right now none of those options are available. From what I've read all those options will be available on the Nougat update. Welcome to the edge bud.

you can change the aod pic but root and xposed is required. the other options no unless there is an xposed module for them and i can not say if there is or not as im no longer rooted. welcome to the edge family btw and hope the phone treats you well, battery is awesome for me stock and all. please when they will have the new software s7 galaxy sm-g935A

I've only had the S7 Edge for 2 days (although owned one when they first came out - it was the S7 Edge that pulled me away from the iPhone) and I am SO MISSING my Note 7. That was the best phone ever. That S-Pen GIF feature was great. I want so many of those S-Pen features which is why I went for another Note. Now we probably have to wait another year for a Note 8. I think Samsung might lose a lot of money by not getting new customers but I think the old Samsung customers (like us) will continue to purchase their products.
