Dual language rom for HD2

I was wondering where I can find a rom with both English and Chinese languages included. Or even an English rom with Chinese viewing and handwriting input support.
Most other phones have the ability to change the system language anytime I want, but the HTC HD2 only come in one language and one language only. So if anyone knows where I can find something like, please do share =)

Dual main language for Windows Mobile phones certainly sounds like a nice idea, haven´t seen this either...
But, there seem to be quite a few custom ROMs offering you English as main language and with Chinese support...
Just search the ROM thread here in the forum, you will find this, this, this, and maybe even this...

Stock ROM language changeable?

I'm about to buy an HTC Wildfire.
It is not available in my country, but I found an on-line store who ships the phone at a good price, however, it has written the following warning: "Software in Spanish".
Does Android allow you to choose the language as any other phone OS (except WM) or is it pinned down to one language as the Windows Mobile handsets?
No idea anyone?
Yes you can change the display language. Well you can on my UK T-Mobile one.

If it's not bothering too much, can you check if it has "Portuguese" or "Português" on the list?
At least I'll know if I can order one from the UK.
Here you go http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c344/cerbera1971/DSCF3392.jpg
Thank you!
yeah, but isn't that the locale? where it changes just the date, currency and stuff like that?
Does it change all the menu's language? A complete language change?
thanks
There are missing some languages in stock rom, but you can find a lot in CM7. In my case, neither of stock and CM7 has it. I'm looking for a Persian rom.

Change language

Hey, I've got myself a LG Urban2 LTE.
My problem is that the missing my language, Swedish.
Is it possible to add languages that are not available from the beginning in the clock?
If it is possible, how do you do this?
Grateful for advice

Different system language compared with the home country

Hi guys, i just bought my first Huawei phone (P9 Lite - L21), and i have a question for you : i live in Europe, and english is not my birth language, but i am used to have the language in my phone to english. I choose my country, and i don't have the option to choose english as the phone language. If i choose english, it makes me choose one of the countries that speaks english.
Does it matter if i choose english, and another country, compared with my own? Does it provide some advantages in choosing my own language?
Thanks for the help!
Well it matters in a way that the different regions also have different modifications of the English language.
For example it is "color" in US but "colour" in UK.
So for the display language there won't be a lot of difference so it is mostly trivial which country you choose.
The only place where it IS relevant is in your keyboard settings because autocorrect will be based on these differences in the language.

Honor smart band 3 changing language

Hello ,
I have received one Honor smart band 3 from China, but my issue is the following. The default language of the band is Chines, and if my phone is not set to language and location for example English/US it is showing Chinese. My issue is that i bought is for present of my father but he has issues with English and I want to leave him phone on Bulgarian language but the Honor smart band to be for example on English or Russian. Does anyone of you have faced this issue and how did you solved it?
I have tried morelocale 2 to add new location on the phone to be language Bulgarian and location Russia but this doesn't solve the issue because obviously the smart band is getting phone language and location both not only location.
i have that issue too,
my if the phone language not set to english then the band is chinese.
anyone have a solution?!
At the moment all we can do, is wait for some official update..
Local authorised Huawei Service Point in Poland refused to change software, due to regional limitations (they can't download it from server, after entering MAC).
Even Australian English makes it Chinese.. Quite annoying that band does not have own language setup
Same. I tried various combinations - some of them keep English in smartband, like English (United States)/English (United Kingdom) or Russian (Russia) but most of them change band language to Chinese like my native region - Latvian (Latvia) or Danish (Denmark). Interestingly English (Australia) or Russian (Ukraine) also drops band to Chinese.
I can live with English (United States)/English (United Kingdom) but nevertheless it is annoying.
My wife's band received an update to 1.5.35 (had 1.5.19) but she just pressed "update" without reading changelog so i have no idea what is the content of this update.
Just for the test i will try to change her phone language back to Latvian (Latvia) to see does it change band behaviour or not.
My band does not have this update yet. If it receive it i will post changelog here and will try to change phone region back to Latvian (Latvia) just to see does smartband keeps reverting to Chinese or not.
UPDATE: Tested on wife's P10 and band software version 1.5.35 - same behaviour, keeps reverting to Chinese if phone region and language deviates those mentioned above.
Seems Huawei discriminates languages and nations into "large" and "small" - based on their own ideas. If you pick "large" language and region like English (US/UK), or Germany (German), France (French), Russian (Russia), Chinese (China) - you get corresponding language in your band. Mentioning ones i tried. If you pick "smaller" language or region like Russian (Ukraine) or English (Australia), any Scandinavian region or Baltics - you get Chinese in your band. I haven't tried every region in my phone but i think ones i tried already gives clear picture.
I wonder - are there really "global" or "regional" versions of the band's software? I am unvilling to pay 65 euros for this band here just to test it out comparing of 25-30 euros it cost in Ali or Gearbest.
Hi All,
I have posted the following at https://consumer.huawei.com/en/contact-us/. I hope their support and enginners will take care about it. This problem is reported at lot of sites as missing feature. My honor band 3 is useless for me at the monet, due this problem.
Huawei P20 Pro using language, which is not supported by Honor Band 3 turns Band 3 language to Chinese. Unacceptable by one of the most expensive Smartphones on the world. Please add support, to be able to set the band language explicitly in Huawei Health/Huawei Gear apps (to one of the supported languages by the Honor Band 3). I have hungarian language set on my P20 pro, which is not supported by Honor Band 3, which then turns into chinese. I cannot read my Band. Switching my phone language to one of the supported languages by Honor Band 3 (like english) is not an option, because all my other apps will switch to english, what I do not want, second the unit of measures, and number formats, like decimal number separator is different in hungarian. This problem is known world-wide, not only in my country. XDA: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...honor-smart-band-3-changing-language-t3761194. Thanks
You're right, I just bought it (for around 22€) and it updated to .35 version during installation but still switches to Chinese if in my native language and to English if I switch phone language to English. I hope Huawei fix this in future with some update but even like this I don't mind much since actually the only Chinese words are "Measuring..." and the day of the week...

Any news about changing language?
The Polish Huawei Service says, that's hardware, not software issue and the language change can't be done by just downloading the firmware.

Nonsense.
Huawei PL reply on the official Huawei Polska forum, according to the same topic:
"Huawei Poland is supporting devices only from polish market. You can't set Polish language on the devices from the Asian market. It's unable to install the language package, which wasn't originally on the device's flash memory. It's fully hardware, not software matter. Also you can't install Chinese language on EU market devices."

This reply is directly targeted to the Polish market, but I think it is their policy to all the "smaller" markets, as it was said before.
They almost got it right - it's not SOFTware matter - it's FIRMware matter

And english language is in this band, and we can't use it with our national languages on the phones.
Yes, that's why I switched to Mi Band 3 which allows easy firmware installation, and is overall much better device...

Still nothing. I write to UK Huawei support too, and the Band 4 is out, but with same tale (chinese default).
Got the same problem. My Honor band 3 it's in Chinesse and no way I can change it to spanis my native language. Real shame. I just switch to MI band 3. Way better device for similar price and with all the languages. Still waiting for Huawei to understand that selling a device worldwide with just Chinesse language it's a bad selling strategy.
Actually, there is no much difference between these two strategies, Honor and Xiaomi are both selling CN and International versions of bands and both CN versions support only about 10 languages and are set to default Chinese if you use other languages. The only difference is that Xioami band can be flashed with International firmware thanks to community...

I bought my band from my country (Romania) and it still have the issues said ahead
