I am doing it with GravityBox, a module in Xposed...You can also do it but you have to have root & installed Xposed framework... Then i stall GravityBox & mod the status bar.... You can also mod the battery & other stuff with GravityBox... If u want the status bar & the icons on the status bar to look exactly the ios way (e.g dots instead of signal bars or battery just like ios battery), install "flat style bar indicators" again xposed module...

Gravity Box is So Far The Best ..
I'm Using Resurrection Remix(CM13) ..So I Can Change In Settings Itself..
If You Want to Use Gravity Box or FSBI ,You Need To Have Xposed On Your Device..
So First Install That ..
For Xposed LP & MM
Xposed LP/MM ..
Good Luck ..
Is there any way to change the status bar icons with only a rooted device with no xposed/custom recovery? I've tried a app called "Material Status Bar", it's nice, but needs to be bigger cause when at lockscreen I can see the original status bar from Zenfone behind the "material status bar".
I'm not getting to unlock the bootloader from my Zen Selfie

I Don't Think You Will Get A Lots Of Features Without Root, Which You Get in Xposed/Root ..
The Only App I Know Without Root Is This..
Super Status Bar.

Just became an owner of the new Nexus 7. The soft navigation keys that are part of the OS take so much screen real estate.
Is there a way to hide/unhide them?
Is there a specific rom or launcher that has that option?
Thanks.
Team eos has this option. You could permanently disable them and use LMNT. Which are like the browser quick nav buttons.

I assume the blue part of your image is what you refering to as lmnt? Can it be recalled on demand and hidden when not needed?
I also see the soft keys on the bottom of your image. They can be disbled in this rom, right? А

Yes you swipe from the left or right to draw them out. And yes team eos had the ability in the power menu selecting "system bars mode" will disable/enable them.

I only found HideBar by Pieter Pareit; are we talking about the same app?
Has anyone developed a way to customize the bottom System Bar? Add / remove icons?

Sort of ... but its better to have it built into the ROM then using an app.
Um yeah? Its called every ROM that uses aokp or Cm10 framework LOL.
Are you for real? Its hardly noticeable, it uses very minimal real estate and hides itself when it needs it (the real estate) the most.

I personally use GMD GestureControl. It allows you to set various multitouch/singletouch gestures. I have it set up so that 4 finger swipe up hides the status bar and the softkeys. In addition, 4/5 finger pinch closes current app (emulates home button), 4/5 fingers left or right scroll through recent apps (these gestures are stolen from iPad)
Hi there,
so I've been loving my lg g2 since the very beginning and I came to the point that I wanted to use the full big screen and turn my softkeys into GESTURES.
what I did: I rooted my lg g2, installed xposed framework with the G2 module to remove the softkeys. You can also do it with GMD hide softkeys app but the g2 module also gives cool settings for the softkeys (change icons,...).
Then I installed All-in-one gestures. With that app you can set gestures for the menu-, back- and homebutton. (and shortcuts or apps to open) You can also do this with the GMD gestures app but it's a more advanced app than the All-in-one gestures app. So for example my backbutton is now a swipe from the bottom of my screen. And I must I like using back like that. it's an easy gesture for you thumb.
I also installed nova launcher to automatically hide the notification bar.
another tip... with the xposed framework you can download the APP SETTINGS module. with this you can set the dpi PER APP!! I like a dpi of 360. below that it's starting to be very tiny letters I think. With APP SETTINGS you can also force to hide the notification bar PER APP. Gives a real big screen as a result!!!
Hope you like my tip!
grts,
Lionel!!
Try Ultimate Dynamic Navbar. More settings and customisations. Blows away all others imo.
I had the same idea.
But it doesn't work out.
1) Sometimes GMD gestures stop working (after turning on display or after rebooting when there sometimes comes a "device not detected" error) and if you don`t have the possibility to swipe up a nav bar then you are in trouble. Bad idea to rely completely on GMD.
2) On my N7 (2013) i can set (via GMD autohide softkeys) that in every app there is the old 3-dot menu button to compensate for the lack of the nav bar menu button. This is somehow not possible on the G2.
For stress-free operation, it's better to make nav bar just as small as possible (say, 50% height) and leave it on.
On phones I prefer much more Pie, I just think it's much faster than gestures.

I rather use GMD hide soft keys. All the buttons are a simple swype away ...

also I to use the 360 dpi, but the trick is to use -- 361 -- because then your apps don't switch into tablet ui. 361 is the sweet spot.
I have been using these for a while but thought to share the knowledge.
If you have found any that are compatible, list them up!

With ThemeX you want to select which icon pack you want to use upon entering the app, then you select which icons you want to save to your gallery. On the LG home, long press an icon until the edit flag presents itself. Tap the flag, choose gallery and locate the folder where you saved the icons. Resize 1x1 and expand the cropping box to fit the entire icon.
This icon pack works with LG Home too: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ddevicers.springiconpack
Is there any LG Home compatible UX 5.0 icon pack available?
the lg themes changes only the icons?no color change for e.g settings etc?
Check out my new Icon Pack in the description... Also if there's some icon not themed it will be updated quickly.
.
I want to make icon pack for lg home, i can make icons, but i don't know how to make app. If there is anyone who know how to do it (and want to do and get credits for that) please pm me

Hey guys! So I've been searching for an icon pack that themes all the icons to the same shape. Now I've tried a lot but only the MIUI v5 theme seems to work as I want (see attached pic). Also, Alos and MeeUI do a good job at it, but I always havea few icons that don't fit. Is there a way to fix it? Or do you know an icon pack that does a better job at theming unsupported icons? I ideally, I would want that if an icon is not supported, it is resized to fit the shape of the theme's icons. Or have a matching background mask. Is what I am looking for impossible?

If you are referring to the Icon packs available in the Samsung themer, then this is not possible. My understanding is that Samsung only allows around 20 icons to be themed. At best some packs put the existing icons into the shell like you illustrated there. If you want more fully themed Icons you probably have to switch to a 3rd party launcher like Nova.
Id try using whatever type of icon pack you want that is supposed to give them all a specific shape such as a circle or like samsungs squircle type shape, and then downloading this app called adapticons, it allows you to choose an app and then basically make your own icon for that app. Once youve created the icon you like, you can put the icon straight to your homescreen, export it to your gallery, or export it into a icon pack. some shapes are locked unless you donate $1 but its the best app i have found to get around this issue, it would be extremely worth the $1 to get the extra shapes and other features (or just use lucky patcher maybe)
try adapticons

Not sure what you are trying to show with that picture.
Screen rotation is in the notification, maybe on the second page, you may need to tap the pencil and edit but it's not in the navigation bar.

Disable auto rotation in the display settings and then the force rotation button will show on the nav bar

Installing some application that force immersive mode /full screen/hide navigation bar, turn back setting as default. And Auto rotation in navigator bar showing again.
