The thing is i tried sim card adapter and i just
Couldn't get it out, it got stuck pretty badly, somehow I got it out but with it together out flew the gold teeth that apparently read your sim, result is my phone doesnt read any sim card, sad day for me,well atleast ihave iphone 4s as my second phone, morale is sim adapters arent user friendly for g note
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
My Gnote came with a microsim adapter in the box. If that sim adapter did the damage you should be set for a warranty claim.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
Never ever use a MicroSim adapter in the Note. It will break the pins. I've read about a lot of people experiencing the same as you.
Next time; dont.
yes the sim adapters are not a good idea... i recommend if you need to use one find someone with a sim cutter and place the sim back in the outer sim when using it in the note but still be very careful.... if it shows the least bit of resistance, just slide a thin piece of stiff plastic under the sim(make sure its cut to the sim size) and ease out the sim... the reason this keeps happening is the type of sim reader samsung used. the tips of the "prongs" arent rounded over where when a sim is inserted they hang below the tray. these have an edge that catches. its just not designed for micro adapters..especially the cheap ones that are a hair thicker than a sim.... the best way ive found is my sim cutter trick...
hope this helps.... and btw i can fix the broken sim reader too and do it quite well, so if interested pm me...
Can i give it to repair in some local phone shop or i have to find official samsung repaircentre? I think i dint have one in my city
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
I had that happen to my gs2 and Samsung will not repair it. They will tell you that your phone is beyond economical repair. That is how I ended up buying the note.

So basically if i dont trust any of my local repair shop ability to fix it and not to damage it even more, i should sell it? That would suck badly, coz i love this phone

The only problem is when it lifted the gold connectors it also damaged the motherboard. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I have been down this road about 2 months ago. No local repair store would fix my gs2 because of the motherboard.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Did you sell your sgs2? Or because of the problem it was pointless it to give away much cheaper than keeping it as multimedia device?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
I gave it to a friend and he only uses it for a internet device on wifi.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Bit of a design flaw there, if they are encouraging people to switch over from iSheep land then this is one quirk that should never have been.
Yeah thats how im using mine,i dont want to give it away, guess just gonna keep it as my mini tablet then than just selling it cheaply

I have a micro-sim adapter in mine
It came with my O2 , micro-sim card, so who do i sue if i get damage.

Ebay: In the first link. I recently emailed Clove Technology regarding them selling this and I'm awaiting a response. Looks like an excellent piece of kit

You got one with rubber on the back? Is it an actual Pen?
Its the same as the original Wacom Tablet Styli. Its the Standard S-Pen the only differences are that its the same size as a real pen, has a hook for shirt pockets and has a plastic but on tge end that acts as an on screen eraser. I got it from someone from Samsung. Seen it on Ebay though.

All you have to do is search "galaxy s5 usb port cover" via any of your local markets/retailers like this guy did...
Doesn't take a genius to figure this out.

Now that the Note 7 has launched, have all Devs given up working on the S7/S7E? Or is it just that we're at a standstill with no progress because its impossible?
The locked bootloader killed this phone. When I got it, I convinced myself that I no longer needed custom roms...I was wrong! My enthusiasm for this phone has died, something that didn't happen with the LG G3 it replaced right up to the moment I handed it to my son. The S7E is fine, but I regret its purchase every day. I probably should move on now, but I'm not sure which direction to take. I'm certainly done with Samsung and most likely Sprint. If I wanted boring, I could have joined the zombie herd and bought an iPhone.

Won't work on Sprint. A couple guys got it to work by flashing tmobile firmware via Odin only to discover that they can't roll back to Sprint firmware nor downgrade tmobile

Not only did Samsung shoot themselves in the foot with the explosive note 7's but the s7 edge is amazing hardware crippled by a locked bootloader and no dev support. Samsung phones are more and more tougher to crack. While I'll never in life use an iPhone again, I'm hoping the new Nexus at least supports sprints ****ty Network and or maybe sprint will carry it.

With all of these potential problems I am not even going to think about getting rid of my old 6t until I fully test the 8 Pro on Monday when it gets here.
The number of issues being reported is alarming for a cheap 500 dollar phone, let alone one that costs this much.

Always problems with all electronics when they first roll out. Most are solved with a reset and/or software updates. That being said, my 8 Pro is perfect so far

True. OP phones always have problems at release. The 7Pros camera was awful when released and they released software updates for it and it became good, it also had bad touch lag and then it was fixed. Same for Pixel phones.

I dunno mine seems fine
I have actually opened a thread on a similiar topic: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro/help/keyboard-qhd-120hz-t4086553
For me it lag is only apparent on QHD resolution. So try to do FHD and see if it is still there.
Tried all resolutions and combjnations, it still occurs. Sometimes its gone after a reboot, Sometimes its Not.
Factory reset did Not help. Next step is to try with previous oos built.
Since the problem is still there, I RMAed now at Amazon. Tomorrow the New one arrives
OP have just contacted me through the community by PM to ask for details about it as I posted on the community. I'm not sure how it can be a hardware fault, more likely its a software issue unless it's related to the green screen problem.
